Action of lot disappeared in Bridge

Hello

There are a few days that I was looking for function Batch actions in Bridge and I couldn't find it more, even when I started looking in other menus. I use the version Bridge CS6 5.0.2.4 on a 64-bit (Windows 8.1 Pro) computer. Normally I didn't have to open all the pictures in the PS, but could leave just bridge do the work.

Is there someone who could help me? Maybe this feature is removed or replaced/renamed. That would be a great help to me, thanks!

So, question answered. Uninstall the Bridge and Photoshop, then re - install Photoshop FIRST. Then bridge, when it will ask you to activate all the plug-ins.

    Hello

I have now resolved the issue.  I uninstalled PS CC 2015 and reinstalled.  Then in the preferences of CC BR, startup scripts should check PS CC 2015.  All the tools now back.

  • Disappear keywords Bridge CS5

I know that this has been talked about on the MAC and PC forums for the bridge and has been a problem with the version of CS3 to CS5.  However, it doesn't receive the attention of Adobe.

I went through the Mac and Win from CS3 to CS5 forums and there are several lists of people lose their key words.  I just lost againmine, after their reconstruction about two weeks ago.  On another call, 3782474, Paul graciously produced a script to build your existing keywords.  You have to reenter the!  Adobe, PLEASE fix this.  I copied the key file and saved it to a backup location. When I lost my file this last time, I restored this file.  He stll did not work!  I have not updated all Adobe products, other products of window or patches.  The only thing I've done in the last two weeks is photo editing and goes from a disk storage across the bridge to find photos.  I'm afraid that if I lose the one I have just manually recreated that I no longer use bridge since it is one of the features that attracts me to it.  I don't know there are other products to a keyword search.

Adobe, I hope you read this thread and take control.  I'm running on Windows 7 and Bridge CS5.

    Thank you

cindym65915079 should always go back actions. I suggest manually record each separate action set out in the files individual .atn , while another method is to save the entire file Share Palette.psp :

Preference file functions, names, places | Photoshop CS5

It is probably a good idea to backup your Adobe Bridge Keywords.xml (completely filled) file manually too.

  • Orders of the CC Photoshop Actions panel 2015 disappear

In Photoshop CC 2015 when I move the Panel shares it resizes so that (for example the run button) buttons at the bottom are no longer visible.

The closing Panel and re-opening it solves the problem of the key, but it is reopened in the center of the screen. It suddenly started this today even if no changes have been made to Photshop, what causes this and how can I stop it?

    Hi krisbaker,

    Please open Photoshop

  • Batch of files sorted manually in bridge - I run a PS Action in this manual order?

For some work that my workflow ideally involves sorting manually the command a lot of RAW files in Bridge (RAW file names are determined by the camera), then using a PS Action of the bridge to convert, save and rename the batch of files. Let me finish with my images sequentially numbered files in manually sorted order.

However, my PS Action automatically treats the files in ascending order of their RAW file names, and therefore my order assigned manually the files in Bridge is lost.

Y at - it a script (or other method) that will allow me to perform an action of PS of bridge on a batch of files while maintaining the sorted order manually for the purposes of the numbering sequence of the output renamed files?

My current workaround is to rename the lot to the bridge a game copied RAW files as an interim step to run my PS Action on the renamed RAW file copies. It is not a bad work around, but if there is an easier way, I would appreciate to know about!

    Geoff

It's my fault alltogether! I have an additional inversion in the code of Geoff.

You can either remove line 430 fileList = fileList.reverse (); or check the reverse order, hopefully this should fix.

  • Alternative to run PS actions?

Droplets are borked.  ("droplets could not communicate with photoshop" after the update of Windows 10 anniversary )

Is there a script that will run the action after an export.  I still have lot of the bridge, but it would be nice if products Adobe has worked with the other as announced :/

Is there a script that will run the action after an export.

You will need to purchase a third-party plugin: Lightroom: droplets no longer work with export presets (CC 2015.4). Community customer Photoshop family

  • Automated batch PS Action do not save files

    Hello

With the help of JJ Mack, I developed a very successful PS Action that converted the white funds in safe and transparent .png files.  He was very helpful and the action ran with great success the first time.  I ran a few others actions and lots to do other things, and when I returned to perform batch action once again, it will work but will not save files!  It seems to go through the steps, but does not record.  When I go through the SAME steps manually, it works perfectly.

The action runs Javascript of JJ, which modifies the lower layer, selects the image white background items and then removes them, and saves the file.

Can someone figure out why this action stopped saving files?

I don't trust my parameters of the batch because I had to change these to perform other actions, and I noticed the "compatibility: Windows" is grayed out and I don't know why.  I tried a few different options in the PLC > parameters of treatment by lots, but nothing seems to help save the files.  Here are the current settings of the batch:

    screenshot_PSBatchSettings073116.jpg

And here is a screenshot of the actions (which remember, worked perfectly before.)

    screenshot_PStransparencyAction073116.jpg

Anyone know why it will not save the converted files?

    Thank you!

Remove the last two steps in this action.  Download and install the plugin Image Processor Pro script.  Then use Photoshop menu File > Automate > Image Processor Pro... the action to remove the background and thus the size of the script and save all the files you want png.

  • Files batch rename in Bridge, but LightRoom still shows the old names.

I did a rename the lot to the bridge of the images that I had already been working with in Lightroom. File names have not been changed when I go to them in Lightroom. How can I update the names of files in Lightroom to reflect changes in the bridge?

What you do in Bridge is not reflected in Lightroom.

In particular, the rename outside of Lightroom effectively destroyed all the links to your photos in Lightroom (because Lightroom is still waiting to find the former names).

As far as I know, it's one of the recoverable errors less there. The only way to "fix" the Lightroom Catalog is to reconnect the photos one by one in Lightroom. There is no batch reconnect I know.

In the future, you'd better not use Bridge with Lightroom.

  • Complicated file renaming in bridge... need help

I'm editing and export of thousands of files in Photoshop in various sizes. Export of Photoshop adds sequential numbers in the name of the file that I now have to remove. I am trying to use the rename the lot to the bridge, but have not yet been able to configure the result I want. I need to maintain the first and the last part of the name of the file that varies from a file in a file. Example:

    48 x 48 - _0000_2b.png

    48 x 48 - _0001_2o.png

    48 x 48 - _0002_4g.png

I just need to remove the sequential part "_0000_" in the middle. The last part of the name of the file is a code that changes a file in a file so I do not rename will work.

I can do it is the bridge? I called and they said it was not possible to remove a part of the name, but I could rename the file using the Tools > Photoshop > batch. I met the same problem where I don't see how to remove the sequential part and keep my unique codes at the end.

In addition, what is the difference between that and Tools > Batch rename?

Thanks if anyone can help or suggest another tool to do this.

    Katie

There are a number of batches of files free renaming tools out there. Seriously, you really don't have bridge but something like BulkRename or the characteristics of respective lots in the viewer of image such as IrfanView or XnView.

  • Place in the item menu indesign missing in Bridge 5.5

    Hello.

All of a sudden, the Place in the Indesign menu item disappeared in Bridge 5.5 and with him my beloved hotkey (Yes, a keyboard taliban that I am).

In the preferences Startup scripts seem to agree, they are all checked. I tried to reset the preferences by holding down the alt key while starting to bridge. Nothing helps.

I guess it has something to with my recent install of the CC-suite.  I searched the forums and found people with similar problems to upgrade, but unfortunately no solutions. Is there a way to get the new menu item, without uninstalling CC? We serve customers with different versions.

    Kindly

    Tomas, Sweden

Happy camper now. I finally managed to make it work by replacing the indesign file in Startup Scripts (/ Root/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts /) with a previous saved version. They all look the same, so maybe it was a permissions problem.

I use 5.5 because our main workflow is built around 5.5, with tons of JavaScript and AppleScript scripts. For this reason, our upgrade cycle generally ignores all other versions. The plan is to get everyone on the CC-train finally, but I have not circumvented to fix scripts yet. I guess what it all boils down to my laziness...

    Thanks anyway!

  • Why I can't do it in batches of shares of CS4 or CS5 bridge now when I could before?

Something has changed in my functions for batch actions in Bridge.  In Bridge CS5, I try to do a simple orders action to save a DNG as a jpg file and closing the file.  When I try this I get a message saying "the"Save"command is currently not available.

I try to do the same in Bridge CS4.  I go to the Tools menu and look for Photoshop in the dropdown menu, but he's not here.  That's how I make a batch action treatment with my version of Windows in Bridge CS4.  I'm confused about what has changed when I could do a batch of shares regularly in CS4 and CS5 bridge on my Mac.

My startup in PS CS5 scripts have already verified and activated.  I found that I needed to check 'Delete file open options' when the batch action dialog box opened from Bridge CS5.  I can now do batch actions still in Bridge CS5.

I also have PS CS4 and Bridge CS4.  I followed your advice on startup on PS CS4 scripts.  I found that Photoshop CS4 was not checked.  I checked and actived PS CS4.  Photoshop now appears in my Bridge CS4 drop under tools and I am able to do it in batches of shares still in Bridge CS4.

Thank you for your help.  It really helped me get my order process.

  • No tool straighten or batch or side by side comparison?

Why some of the utilities available in 7 elements important don't CS5? Is not Adobe assume that many customers of CS will be upgrading items and expect the same or better features that come with elements relatively good markets? Or will I be stupid, (it is not the first time.) by failing to find these things in CS5. Here's what I don't have:

Straighten tool. In elements, you draw a line through a peak and elements make this horizontal line and crop the photo as little as possible to the place of the photo.  It's so easy and fast compared to the crop tool. Is there a better way than the crop tool to level with the horizon pictures or something plump as a pole CS5?

Batch processing. Items will take a lot of pictures from a file and change, like resolution, for example, and add sharpening or other options and save them in a file that I called. CS5 and bridge don't do that? Why not?

Side compared to one side in order to select the photo? Elements 8 organizer has this wonderful function and from the window you can easily navigate between countless photos. Also in the window, you can assign stars, make some changes, quickly zoom in and zoom out. It's a great way to select the best photos. I know that it's a matter of bridge, but given that the bridge is the file for CS management tool.

I love some of the features of CS5 as quick access and selecting layers on the right side and the content is up-to-date, but I'm surprised that some of the wonderful features in elements are not included in CS5 whatever it takes seven times as much.

Am I missing something? It seems to me that Adobe has separate teams for items and for CS5 and they communicate with each other because they hate.

    DT

    Straighten

Use the ruler tool and choose address in the options bar. Cancel after selection straighten If you want to manually crop the right picture resulting.

    Batch processing

Bridge or Photoshop you can batch files easily. Use automate > batch of tools and PS > PS > lot of the bridge. If you run the Image Processor script, you can quickly resize and reuse files and even apply an action after resizing on each image. If you explain a bit more on what you want to achieve with the batch we can definitely help you with that.

    Side by side

Bridge allows multiple images in the preview pane - just select them in the content pane. I am relatively familiar with the elements, but perhaps also consultation in Bridge mode has a bit of what you're looking for. In Bridge, space will toggle preview full-screen, and in this mode, by clicking on the image will quickly zoom 100% mode.

Of my modest experience with the elements that I have yet to see better PS but I'm sure it's mostly a matter of familiarity, and you will need to familiarize yourself with the PS (just in time for the CS6 upgrade).
