• Impossible to rename the files individually or using rename the lot?

  Hi, I searched everywhere for a solution to this, but mostly, I see only similar questions which have not been answered. I use CC bridge and suddenly can't rename a file or a folder either individually or by using the commands rename. I'm asked to clear my cache whenever opens the bridge, despite having done that, once again, whenever opens the bridge. Really hope that there is a difficulty? Thanks for any help!

  Greetings.

  • Try resetting Bridge preferences.
    • Start Adobe Bridge, and immediately press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS down) until the dialogue box reset settings appears. Select all three options - reset preferences, reset Standard Workspaces and all miniature Purge Cache - and then click OK.
  • Once done then try to rename a file and see if it works or not, if not what is the error message.

• Rename batches by the bridge... loses xmp?

  OK - I blew on it. Some of my files have been imported to the LR4 with an incorrect filename... by my habit of naming.

  I edited everything... (no change of name) and then in Brdige make a batch renaming. I suppose that the bridge does not rename the .xmp files and I need to change their brand new... right?

• To import a lot of pictures of the bridge?

  I used the bridge to pictures of rates within a folder containing hundreds of pictures, and then I filtered / sorting photos in Bridge based on the side so only those rated photos showed. How can I import only those pictures now in first CS6? When I try to select all filtered and put them in CS6 it won't let me, I have to drag each photo one at a time. Is there a better way to do this?

  For example, I have a folder named "Box" inside this folder are 5 additional folders and in these files are text and circles/squares etc.  Once I have copy and insert the name of the parent is "copy of zone 1", the names of children is now "copy print"1", 1 paper copy etc, and children are also name with a copy to the front and a number in the back.  If you like 50 items in the folder, you need to go to each name and remove the copy, then move to the back of the name and remove the number.  That would make 100 corrections.  If you duplicated "Box" 10 times that would be 500 times I have to delete the copies and 500 times I have to delete the number.  I am an organized person and I do not confuse names like "copy paper 27.

  In Autodesk Maya 3D they do something similar, it turns 'apples' in 'pasted apples 1 ", so created a script that deletes all the text"stuck"in the name and number on the back the text name.

  I think it's a pretty silly renaming procedure.  Adds text to the front and rear.  Makes me wonder where they got their education.

  David, for starters I can't duplicate what you describe, where things are added to the front and back automatically, you may need to clarify some things.  Looks like what you're saying is you have Group in movement named "Box" If you copy and paste the group, the name of the new group is "copy of copy of box?  Or you add 'Copy from' before the name of the Group at some point before making a copy/duplicate of the Group?

  Movement, like the Finder and many other applications, will add an object in double with 'copy', then add numbers after that. The structure of renaming seems simple enough. For example:

  1. start by a group of layers / named 'box '.

  2. copy and paste "Box" will give you "Box copy.

  3 copy and paste 'Copy of box' will give you «box copy 1"»

  My tests, if "copy" part of the name at the end, only the numbers will be added and increase gradually.  I think that if you get something like "Box copy copy" you have added manually "copy" at the beginning of the name, which is the only way that I could reproduce what you describe. If you don't want to have to remove 'copy' twice, don't start a layer name or "Exemplary" program group. Motion is probably not check if the copy is at the beginning, at the end.

  For what is a way of not having a copy or a number added to the end, it is not a.  It is probably a requirement of how the movement initially creates duplicates of layers/groups and make sure, that it is not destroy the existing layers. This is probably the best. This is similar to the creation of the records or documents in the Finder, just moving, you can go back and rename multiple items with the same name once they are created. If you are uncomfortable with writing scripts, sounds like you are, maybe it's a good option, otherwise you will have to do some manual changes as you go.

• Router WRT54GS WET54G bridge question, the bridge to connect to a wired router?

  I have a wireless - g LAN using a WRT54GS router.  The existing wireless devices on the local network are 2 PCs, a TiVo unit (using the TiVo wireless adapter) and 2 WET54G Wireless bridges.  A bridge connects ethernet wired to a network printer.  The other bridge connects by ethernet cable to a reader Blu - Ray Sony BDP-S550.

  Security is WPA2-AES.  so far this works well, believe it or not, but I grew a lot older, making it happen.

  Now, here's what I would do: I would like to add another device LAN cable where the second bridge WET54G connects to the Blu - Ray player.  The bridge has only an ethernet cable connection, so I have to find another way to get the two devices connected to the wireless LAN.

  I have two other devices LinkSys, kicking around here that I can use.  One is a BEFSR41 wired router.  The other is a WAP54G Wireless Access Point.   If I can use one or two of those who in some way, I won't have to buy another camera.  It is the order of the day so far.

  Right now it looks like this:

  Router WRT54GS wireless wire WET54G bridge entry WAN router BEFSR41 son to two LAN devices.

  I have problems performing this work, assuming that it can still be done.  Can I get this config to work, or what I need to add the Access Point where the bridge is now, or...?

  You already have a network working with your existing devices. What you're trying to include in your network is possible and can be done. Rather than plug the cable of the WET54G to the WAN port on the router, connect the cable to the router's LAN port. Disable DHCP and change the LAN ip address in the range of your existing network. It should work.

My major son put up for me a computer with Windows 8 as its operating system and a server for storage, connected by a cable to transfer files. The computer has its own router, with which it communicates with the local network based on a router and modem in the next room. There is a network bridge to access the internet. Initially (January 2013) it worked well. Sometimes, I couldn't connect to the server immediately, but simply another attempt was enough to access it, and he had no problem with the internet connection.

  More recently (late July and August 2013), it became more difficult to access the server and now seems permanently impossible, the server simply showing with a red X across as one of the devices on the computer page. • Play and rename the clip in the project Panel, using only the keyboard

  I want to use my keyboard to navigate through the items displayed in the thumbnail view in the Panel project (pictured below), play these clips and rename these clips. Already, I am able to up, down, left, right keys to navigate and can press ENTER to rename the clip. However, the space bar does not play the selected clip unless I use my mouse to click on it.

  

  I really want to avoid using my mouse in this process. This will greatly enhance the convenience of crosses a lot of clips and visualizing and renamed.

  I don't think there is a way to play a clip with Sapcebar in the project without first Panel by clicking on it. You should have a demand: feature request/Bug Report Form

  There is a work around using only keyboard shortcuts, if you are interested. I prefer this workflow myself because you have to make the thumbnails big enough so that they can be useful, in my opinion.

  If you have already said, you can navigate with the arrow keys, press ENTER to return to rename and move to another clip or enter on the numeric keypad to not go to the next clip. When I do what you, I open my clips in the Source monitor and view them there, air conditioned and have no mice. SHIFT + O is the default shortcut to open an item in the Source monitor, but I've changed mine to Cmd + down arrow (as OS X). Then you can shuttle, set in/out points, make markers, etc., and then when you go to your next video you press SHIFT + 1 to return to your project Panel. • problems setting animation in the aftermath of the bridge

  I have problems placing animation in After Effects of the bridge. I received the notice of the error:

  There has been a lot of problems with the bridge and presets. If your AE and your bridge are up to date (check your cloud creative app or check the updates inside the app) and you still have problems while the file associations are broken or you are not using the correct workflow. Since you have given no detailed workflow details, it is difficult to say which is correct. Personally, I even installed bridge because I never use it.
