  I have a new myRIO and trying to 'cut the cord USB' by configuring it for WiFi.  I'm under LabVIEW 2013 (with the NOR Update SP1), MAX 5.6.0f0 and the current set of 2 CD (downloaded) of myRIO software.  I use this on a Surface Pro with Windows 8 (sigh).

  I have experience with LabVIEW RT and LabVIEW (most with PXI targets) project.  I did my first myRIO project with the USB connection, so I have a project that I can run on myRIO.

  I have used MAX to connect to myRIO and configure its WiFi connection to 'see' my home network: he he assign it an address in the address space 192.168.x.x and says that it is connected.

  When I opened my first project with connected USB myRIO, he finds myRIO and I can run the software.  But if the USB is not connected, it can't find myRIO, even though MAX certainly can.  What is going on?

  [Oooh, a thought - is the project set up to allow TCP/IP?  Hmm, it wasn't, but it is now.  I go from this post, then restart my Surface and see if this 'fixes' things.  I'll post a follow-up shortly...

  Success, no more wireless USB.  I might have made a mistake in trying to connect in my previous post, I went to the target of myRIO in project and tried so he can "find existing target.  When I rebooted and found that it still does not work, I went to the top of the project, and simply tried to add a new target.  When he offered myRIO, I said 'Go', and he quickly found mine!  I dragged Main.vi from the target to the target of WiFi USB, opened it and he ran.  What a pleasure!

  I m don't know how son NB100, but other laptops you could choose between WLan and BT or BT WLan together.
  Pressing the FN + F1 would allow BT and WLan functionality.

  But what happens if you press the FN + F1 again?
  Would you be able to move to a single option (WLan or BT)?

  If this is not possible and that the FN + F1 key combination would enable and disable WiFi and BT together so I doubt you could use WLan or BT separately.

  The FN + F1 key combination allows both the WiFi and Bluetooth.
  If BT has been activated then it would mean that you have chosen the BT instead of WLan connection and that's why the WiFi network is disabled.

  Press the FN + F1 again and check if you could choose Wlan and could allow it.
