• Cannot install Acceleration Expansion Pack!

  I recently bought this amazing game and struggled to install the expansion pack.  The message that appears says:

  "Microsoft Flight Simulator x: Acceleration requires the English version of Flight Simulator X."

  How could do to solve this?  It is irritating because I obviously already have the English version of this game on my computer.

• I lost my disk for the FSX Acceleration expansion pack, but retain the product code. Can I use a copy of it with just the product code?

  A few years back, I bought for FSX acceleration expansion pack, but (I'm not kidding) would you believe it, I left it on your shelf tipped in the earthquake of February a few years back (I live in Christchurch). If the drive broke, but the product code was still written on the broken case. So is there somewhere I can download the installation program and then enter my product to a valid installation code?

  Hi I just bought a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator gold edition. and after installing and playing on the deluxe edition, I decided to add the extension of acceleration. and after installing the extension, the game no longer works it comes up with an error message saying "Flight Simulator could not load some program files and will now stop. Please reinstall Flight Simulator to restore or repair the installation of the program. ».

  Now, after a few days looking for a response, I decided to ask the guy who made the game.

  The error message also appears when I download just 2 service packs of Microsoft also.

• Flight Simulator with Acceleration Expansion Pack will not charge.

  I got to many (over 75) hours of enjoyment with Flight Simulator after that that it was loaded.  I am also under Just Flight expansion 'Cargo Pilot' with FSX and also have seamless integration with this product until Thursday.  I stole a flight from Indianapolis to Norfolk, and once the plane landed as always by Cargo pilot tried to close the Flight Simulator.  The game is not responding and crashed.  After 25 minutes, I rebooted my system.  Even now, I can't Flight Simulator to open it.  I load the title area and start thinking like it wants to load the program but nothing happens.

  I want to record the reinstall to be a last resort full that I performed many missions in FS and I don't want to lose my flight log or a history of flight.

  Can I do short of uninstalling and reinstalling?

  Check in Windows Update if updates took place before the game crashed?

  To resolve this problem, you can try renaming the file Logbook.bin. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. click on Start.

  2. click on My Documents or Documents.

  3. double-click on the file folder of Microsoft Flight Simulator X to open it.

  4. right click on the Logbook.bin file and then click Rename.

  5. rename the Logbook.OLD and then press ENTER.

  6 start Flight Simulator X to create a new log file.

• Activation for CS / for me to use CS5 expansion pack

  I have an old version of Photoshop CS. I upgraded to CS5 with the help of the Adobe help desk 2-3 years.  I recently wiped computer and need to install the systems and now I am unable to activate Photoshop CS on the internet and I can't use CS5 without full expansion pack earlier!  Any help for that to be resolved would be greatly appreciated

  I'm try to r - activate my expansion pack, and when I drop my product key and press ENTER, it tells me that the there is a problem with the server. This has happened for the last 4 days, then there is a problem.

  I was told to click on "activate by phone" but which blocks the program and I have to restart again.

• The installation of Zoo Tycoon 2 in Windows 7, now I can not install the expansion packs.

  Thanks to the person here who has posted the trick to set virtual memory to 2048, I got edition of Zoo Tycoon 2 guards running. Now that I'm trying to add expansion packs, I get the message that I did not install Zoo Tycoon first, and that I need to install it. What?

  Before using the virtual memory fix, I found here, I tried to run in XP mode, using the also found instructions here. I wonder if this is the reason why I get the error message, and if so, should I uninstall and reinstall without changing the compatibility mode?

  Running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I solved my problem by uninstalling Zookeeper Collection, replace and reset maximum memory of 2048.

  Once I thought I had installed as an administrator or as the account of my children, I have had no problem by uninstalling Zookeepers Collection and put it back. Install the expansion packs was easy after that.

  This should not happen again, if that's the case, let us know. Usually, it is an instance of time.

  I would advise you to try this, just to make sure that the file system and registry are stable.
  1 download CCleaner (Freeware utility) of:
  http://www.CCleaner.com/download/downloading
  2. once the package has been downloaded, install CCleaner
  * Make sure you UNCHECK the following options:
  a. Add the desktop icon
  b. Add CCleaner Toolbar
  3. once CCleaner installed, launch it by clicking on:
  START > all programs > CCleaner > CCleaner.exe
  4. click on the 'Register' button on the left hand side
  5. click on "Scan for issues".
  6. once scanned, click on "Questions of difficulty."
  7. don't worry make a backup of the registry, it is not necessary
  8. once all issues are resolved, close the program
  Then...
  9. click on START

  10. Type "cmd" (without the quotes). Right-click on the result at the top of the menu START and select 'run as administrator '.

  11 type chkdsk /r and press ENTER. He will attempt to dismount the volume and will fail - this is normal. To restart the computer

  I'm playing some of my old games on my laptop which runs Windows Vista Home Premium OS. I managed to install RollerCoaster Tycoon without any problem and plays very well to date. When I tried to install the expansion pack, RollerCoaster Tycoon: corkscrew Follies the game would be to install but not allow me to play via:

  (1) when I try to start a new game it instantaniously brings back me to the main menu.

  (2) if I select to load a saved this game errors and left the program.

  I'm just curious as to why the base game would go without a hitch, but enlargement will not and if there is a way to solve this problem.

• Medal Of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead and breakthrough Expansion Packs does not not on Windows 7-64 bit

  Hi guys, so I just the Medal Of Honor Allied Assault WarChest because I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to play this great game again, but there is a slight problem and the problem is the origin of the Medal Of Honor Allied Assault works and plays well, but the expansion Packs do not work and I can not play for some reason any after that I installed the two iron of lance and pierced, I tried to play, but when the game launches it takes me to this black screen and there and when I click on my mouse after numerous amounts of time I expected something at the Start Up it takes back Me to my office. And when I tried to run the game again, there is this Option that appears indicating something how the game crashed for the first time, giving Me the Options of restarting my computer, launch the game Safe Mode and run the game in Normal Mode. What is going on?

  My specs are

  Windows 7 Home Premiun 64 Bit operating system

  -4 GB OF RAM

  -3.0 GHz

  -DirectX 11

  -Graphics Intel(r) HD card

  -Its a Dell Inspiron 660 desktop computer

  -Processor Intel (R) Pentium (R) CPU G2030

  Here's what I tried to do to get the expansion Packs works but did not work at all

  -Executes the spearhead and breakthrough in Compatibility Mode (did not work)

  -As administrator (did not work)

  -Clean the relocation that I reinstalled the expansion Packs (did not work)

  Updated/patched two iron spearhead and breakthrough (did not work)

  -J' I already updated my drivers and the graphics card (did not work)

  -Do you have DEP (Data Execution Prevention) (did not work)

  -Patched/updated the Original Medal Of Honor Allied Assault to the latest Version (did not work)

  -Tried to go with what everyone says about put or replace this thing OpenGL32 in, (did not work) but in my GALIMA file I see this 3dfxgl.dll thing which is already there after the Installation What's Up with that?

  Any help would be appreciated, because I really want to go back to play this great game, thanks!

  OK I actually the two Expansion Packs work after knowledge what was going on, what I did was the following (it sounds horrible, but it works)

  -J' have deleted/trashed the Original GALIMA. EXE in the game folder in Program Files in the recycling bin (do NOT empty the trash after you delete the original GALIMA. (EXE)

  - Then I renamed GALIMA moh_spearhead.exe. EXE then she worked for spearhead, doing the same for the moh_breakthrough as well if you want to play breakthrough because it has worked for me.

  -When you have finished playing one of these Expansion Packs rename them their original name and then go to the Recycling Bin and do a right-click of the MURIEL Original. EXE and restore it if you want to play The Original Allied Assault.

  I know that sounds kind of awkward, and I Hope It help anyone with this problem, but if someone has another way, go ahead and fire out I would appreciate it.

• Rome Total War (various expansion packs) and Windows 7 (64-bit)

  I'm a "bit of a pickle" as Windows 7 (64-bit) and Rome Total War, and if it should run OK.

  The game worked fine on my old XP machine but seems hit and Miss on W7 (64), esp, some of the expansion packs.

  I have the old RTW Activision and who installs OK and usually starts and runs OK. However, from time to time it will crash. I can play for hours sometimes and its OK, others only for a few minutes. So I tried the RTW patches to get the game to load 1.3. This is the first weird problem, the patch seems to only load in "Program files" and not "program files (x 86)" but the game loaded in both. Q1 - the patch should load in both?

  Q2 what version should I try to run RTW?, one in program files, or the one in program files (x 86)?

  Q3 who, if all the expansion packs should run? I have RTW - Barbarian Invasion (Sega) and RTW - Alexander (Sega/White Label). Barbarian Invasion appears to load but does not work (the first of all he missed mss32.dll, that I found and copied, but then) he said that he could not start Audio 3d. Alexander says that he cannot see the RomeTW.exe (1.5 or 1.6) she needs to find prior to installation. I tried to install the 1.5 patch, but he always says the same thing even if the patch supposed to install OK. Is this related to the query of the 1.3 patch above I wonder?

  If not, is there a guide known on the www somewhere to explain how to install on W7 (64) and whose patches to load and when?

  EDIT - is something I just noticed, if I put the CD back to work in the W7 machine (64) and launch the game from the context menu, it also fails to start with "cannot initialize 3D audio" (or purpose). I was running the game from a shortcut that was created in the W7 boot menu, which goes from the version of files (x 86) program. And this shortcut, it starts and plays but sometimes crashes.

  Hey I know this is an old question but I just had the same problem. the problem is he's leaving moved in the x 86 folder programs and some of the patches there too. If all you have to do is to copy and merge all this program (86) in the folder program files (64-bit).

  I tried for a while to use a flash drive to download mods and to my games on my 360 expansion packs. However, I can't make it work. According to the website of XBOX 360, it can be done, but after following the instructions, I had no chance.

  Anyone have any ideas here?
