  If you search for items 14, go into products from Adobe, click on 'Buy' in front of the name of the product and use the drop down menus to specify Mac or Windows full version or upgrade.

  I have a list of activation codes purchased by our company, a few years ago.  I don't have anyway check which ones have been used and are unaware that they will work to get the latest version.

  I'm not quite sure what you mean.

  An upgrade installation effectively removes all the evidence that it was the previous operating system. If the previous license was an OEM one, it remains valid for this computer, in case you want to revert to the original OS.

   

  If the previous operating system was a retail one, it is part of the upgrade and can be used either in another installation on this machine or on another machine, unless the upgrade is removed (i.e. formatted), date on which the license is released and made available again.

  You probably have a TRIAL version on your computer and you must pay to get the code. Suppliers does not display a activation code of Microsoft Office on any box.

  The key is on an orange label on the cd case, if a commercial version, if a preinstalled version its on a sticker on your box

  If you have already reinstalled an oem version, or it has a version of the retail MagicJellyBean or Belarc Advisor will reveal the key

  NB if it's a preinstalled version that you have never reinstalled these utilities will reveal probably only the origonal volume license key, which is no help to reinstall.

  If you have lost the cd, a version pre-installed, you must obtain a replacement of the PC machine, you probably out of luck.

  If a retail version, you would need a proof of purchase to get a MS

  First of all, look carefully around in the old computer.  There should be a sticker (known as a certificate of authenticity or CoA) who would have the product key for the windows initially provided with this computer.

  Otherwise, if you do not find the product key for this computer, then you will need to purchase a new copy of Windows to be used on this computer.

  The product key provided with your other computer cannot be used on the old computer.  Windows (and product key) that are pre-installed in a computer can be used in a computer and cannot be used on other computers.
