Activation error: invalid SN for this product

I read support articles in all directions into the wee hours of the morning to try to help out myself, and I have not found any that is worked. My last computer kicked the bucket, trying to reload CS5.5 Master Collection on my new computer (Mac w / Yosemite), I am unable to get my products to launch.

The error does not seem to indicate that it is activation too, even if I wasn't able to disable the last instance before the death of my last laptop.

Before resurrect my series from backups, l has installed a 30 day trial. Now when I try to enter my key, it tells me the serial number is not valid for this product. Screenshot: http://tardis1.tinygrab.com/grabs/6111bb2e6d31485e251605fb9070536e31c30095e0.png

I tried to uninstall all applications that were initially drafted by the trial, and then the fresh install from the .dmg I made the drive, which I can't find since we moved. Dmg Installer accepted my series and continued his merry way writing of new instances of the applications I've selected. When I try to start one of the applications that are newly installed; however, I invite me again for my series. I enter the same serial number that I have provided the installer, but I get the error is not valid-for-this-product.

A help article speaks of licenses CC suggests to check the hosts file. Even if mine is different, I tried poking around in/private/etc in any case. It's just the initial comment and three lines for broadcasthost localhost and localhost respectively; There is no mention of adobe anywhere. I imagine that this does not apply to me.

I found "Error"serial number is not valid for this product"|" Creative Suite"and checked my tongue, but I can't believe he would have been any other language when I use it with success on my last machine."

I tried activating offline because "in Sign, activation or connection errors|" CS5.5 and later, Acrobat DC"mentioned that activation offline work for CS5 and products CS5.5 CS6, who understands me. I could not find where locate or generate ar equest code, however. Impasse here.

Elsewhere on this page (sign activation, or connection errors |) CS5.5 and later, Acrobat DC) were, however, some tips that don't apply to me. This page lists always up-to-date information? Elements that do not have the height:

  • Check the firewall settings.

If your computer is behind a firewall, make sure that the firewall does not block activate.adobe.com via ports 80 and 443.

Mac OS: Applications > utilities > Adobe Application Manager > basic > PDApp

-> I don't see MAO in my file utilities. Many other things is Adobe, but no MAO here. What is the question? Or it just moved since every time that that has been published?

  • Verify access to the activation servers.

Launch an Internet, such as Firefox or Internet Explorer browser, and open one of the following links, depending on the version of Creative Suite:

CS5.5: https://activate.Adobe.com/test

CS6 and later: https://LM.licenses.Adobe.com/GDF/status.jsp

-> I don't have Chrome and Safari installed, but neither one displays a success message: I get redirected to Adobe Systems Inc. - access denied and see http://tardis1.tinygrab.com/grabs/6111bb2e6dd61dc735e54a9825845f5459355cf8e0.png. Isn't it?

I feel that I have some good ideas, but I can't find any additional documentation to check if I am barking the right tree. Any help would be useful!

TIA

what you have done with the drive is most likely the problem.
