  I am currently using LabVIEW 2009 and my company is upgrading to 2010, and I had a few questions on creating applications and their execution on other computers to open the switch.

  (1) computers that don't have that installed LabVIEW 2010 runtime will be able to run applications developed with LabVIEW 2009 (and earlier versions)?

  1.1) in the contrary case, we will have to rebuild all of our current programs to use the RTE of 2010?

  (2) Conversely, exes, built in 2010 will be able to run on computers that have the installed 2009 RTE?

  (2.1) if not, is there an easy way to downconvert programs written in 2010 so that they run on RTE in 2009?

  (2.2) that we will be able to use the new features in 2010 (as the network streaming, export to excel graphs) if we downconvert for 2009?

  3. If rebuild us some applications that were originally written in 2009 us will it install the RTE of 2010 on the target computers, so that they can run the new version of our application?

  Applications created in 2009 should the TENS of 2009.  Similarly, applications created in 2010 must RTE of 2010.

  You can install both engines to run on the PC at the same time.  Your .exe will use it is appropriate based on what version it was built in.

  Can you suggest me a solution for my problem?

  I have 2 PCs. The first image is sent to the 2nd. I'll do a method on image processing image and return to the 1st. one.

  Image processing method can be chosen to clinet side. I tested the executed remote control of features on the screws, this is so cool, but it doesn't work if I don't start the IDE labview.

  Is it possible to use vi remote execution - without running Labview IDE on the 2nd PC? - or I have to create an exe file and call the executable remotely?

  On the 2nd PC, Labview 2009 RTE and VisionRTE but the IDE will not be installed.

  Could you suggest me an elegant solution?

  Hi Durnek,

  in fact, the sub-panels works only with the local machine (to the best of my knowledge).

  If you need just to display Secondary VI running remotely, I suggest you to expose the VI with Vision of Web server and let it run on the remote computer. On the computer without Vision, you can use ActiveX container with web browser and load the web page (dashboard) of the VI with Vision. So you can get practically the same behavior if you use sub-panels.

• run an exe 6 moths later

  I have an executable of LabView that I had created on a host and then 6 months ago machine door on a target machine. The fine run exe on target many times.

  I tried to run this exe today (~ 6 months later) and get an error:

  resource not found, error code 3: could not load front panel

  error occurred while loading IMAQ Grab acquire, imgClose, Attribure IMAQ, etc...

  Here's what I have on the host machine, I used to create the exe file:

  IMAQ 4.3, LabView 2009 Professional Development System, LabView 2009 Builder Application,

  VDM full 2009 development - all of these programs have licenses that never expire

  And on the target computer:

  IMAQ 2.5.2, LabView RunTime 9.0, VDM 2009 DURATION - licenses never expire

  What has changed which does not allow my exe to run more?

• FPGA host broken during the deployment of Exe

  Hi all

  I'm working on a project of 7954R FlexRIO with LabVIEW 2009.

  The executable works fine on the development computer, but when I try to run it on an other PXI with LabVIEW installed TEN, I get the error 1003 on host VI.

  On the host VI, the FPGA code is loaded using 'Reference of VI FPGA open' with a path bitfile.

  You have an idea on the reason of the problem?

  LabVIEW RTE is sufficient, or do I have to install additional software/drivers?

  Thanks for posting on the forum of National Instruments.

  You must install LabVIEW 2009 RTE and the Driver NOR-RIO (with the support of FlexRIO) on desktop deployment.

  Can you tell us more about the error you got? Basically, the 1003 error indicates that a VI is not executable.

• obtaining a pallet full of Vision screws

  I installed LabView 2009 PDS, as well as a 30 day trial of VDM 2009 today.

  Research through the range of functions, I don't see any screw base image acquisition as Init, IMAQ Grab Setup IMAQ, IMAQ Grab acquire...

  So I checked MAX, the value of my Palette and vision mnu. Joint a screenshot shows each of them.

  The acquisition of the subpalette, which is labeled as a question mark, Image points to a vision1.mnu, which I don't see in my

  How can I fill those subpalettes such as imaging with the screw that I expect to see when you run older versions of LabView.

• Storage and retrieval of XML messages

  Hi all

  I have a table with a column VARCHAR2 (4000) that contains the XML messages as below.  I read these messages using the sub query and then insertion into different tables.  For the 2nd XML message, the select query becomes really big.  I'm more worried about XML messages where I have to type all these path and namespaces etc.  Is there an effective way to store these and then extract them with correct data types?  I might have a chance to change the way these XML messages are generated and then stored in the table.  So I am not limited to the below XML messages.  I use Oracle database 11 g 2 (11.2.0.3).

  Two things:

  (1) do not store the XML in VARCHAR2 or CLOB. Use XMLType, you will benefit from the analysis and storage of optimizations.

  (2) EXTRACTVALUE is obsolete and in any case not be appropriate for this requirement. XMLTable can analyze the document in columns and relational rows.

  Avoid using third-party software that claims to clean your computer. This software does more harm than good. In addition, you don't need it. Note that all computers become slower over time even in the normal conditions of use.   Under no circumstances should you install operating MacPaw or ZeoBit software (CleanMyMac/CleanMyDrive or Mac Keeper, respectively.) You don't need special software to keep your computer.

  Troubleshooting Applications

  I recommend that you download a utility such as TinkerTool System, OnyX, Mavericks Cache Cleaneror hiding a Cocktail that you can use to delete the former newspapers and archives, cleaning, etc. Corrupted cache, logs or temporary files can slow down the application or OS X crashes and panics of the kernel.

  If you have leopard snow or leopard, then for similar repairs install Applejackfreeware utility.  If you do not start in OS X, you can boot into single-user mode , where you can run Applejack to make a set of routines for repair and maintenance of the command line.  Note that it takes 1.5 AppleJack for Leopard. AppleJack 1.6 is compatible with Snow Leopard. Applejack does not work with Lion and later versions.

  Basic backup

  For some people, Time Machine will be more than enough. Time Machine is part of Mac OS X. There are two components:

  1. a panel of Time Machine preferences as part of the system of preferences;

  2. a request for Time Machine, located in the Applications folder. It's

  used to manage backups and restore backups. Time Machine

  requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the

  drive being backed up.

  You can also get an external drive at least equal to the size hard disk internal and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the disk utility's restore option. You can also create and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (the order is not significant):

  5. Synk Pro

  6. Tri-Backup

  Additional tips

  Make sure you have a sufficient amount of RAM installed for the number of applications you run simultaneously. Make sure to leave a minimum of 10% of the capacity of the hard disk as free space.

  Add more RAM. If your computer less than 2 GB of RAM and you use OS X Leopard or later, then you can do it with more RAM. Snow Leopard and Lion works much better with 4 GB of RAM that is their system. Most concurrent applications, that you tend to use the more RAM you should have.

  Always have at least 15 GB, or 10% of the capacity of your hard disk as free space, the largest. OS X frequently accesses your hard disk, so offering enough free space will keep things slow down.

  Check for applications that may be hogging the CPU:

Click the % CPU column heading twice to display in descending order.  If find you a process that uses a large amount of time processor (> = 70,) then select the process, and then click the quit icon in the toolbar.  Click the force quit button to kill the process.  See if that helps.  Don't forget to mention the name of the runaway process, so you can find the cause of the problem.

  This problem occurs often because of a corrupted cache or the preferences file or an attempt to write in a corrupted log file.

  I buyed a new complete PC now and have installed Photoshop CS3 which I used since 2009. Activation failed: "maximum number of activations reached '.

  I tried a lot of time to solve this problem through lines guidelines, but without results, so the old 2009 PC is sold (own full formatted) and I don't have the

  ability to disable the Photoshop CS3 it.

  Telephone activation is no longer available.

  Is there an available at Adobe email address, where I ask the activation count reset?

• Execution of .exe with VDM RTE

  Hello

  I wrote an executable in Labwindows/CVI that implements imaqSubtract and imaqThreshold and I'm trying to run it on another computer that has the Vision Run-Time license on it, but do not subtraction or the threshold.  Is there something special I need to do when you generate the executable file to run on a computer with only the run-time license?  Thank you!

  I called technical support and let them know that I had a previous installation of a trial version of the full Vision Development Module (something I forgot to mention in the post above).  They suggested to uninstall NI Vision, I did (I have even reinstall the execution engine) and my program works!  Thank you!

• (Redirected) Activation of hardware assisted virtualization in the bios of alienware aurora (late 2009 model)

  Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me to activate it in bios? I ran ms HAV detection tool and my processor is capable, however, there is no option to enable it in the bios. After looking at the manual of the pc option isn't there either. I'm about to watch updated the bios, but I thought I'd throw the question out there as I watch.

• The latest operating system running slow on an iMac 2009

  Thank you for your kindness.
  I have a 2009 27 "iMac running the latest OS from August 2016.
  Problem: It takes half an hour to move the mouse. Maybe a little exaggerated. But unusably slow.
  In hindsight, it seems to have gotten slow slowly but faster to get slower lately... so now it takes half an hour to move the mouse.
  How can I yet to diagnose the problem and find a solution?

  Looks like you're running into a problem where the iMac runs more slowly over time and is now to the point that it is difficult to do anything about it because of how long it takes to move the mouse.  I can only imagine how that would interfere with being able to use it for normal tasks while we must certainly take a look inside and see what happens with it.

  One of the first things to check would be to see if there are elements of openness that could be causing the problem.  To do this, click the  in the upper left corner, click System Preferences.  From there, click users and groups, click connection points.  If you have things listed there, click on each one and then click on the symbol less box, it so that nothing is listed.  Then restart the iMac and test to see if it's better.

  Also, take a look at the Activity Monitor to see if there is runaway applications or processes that could cause it to run more slowly.  If there are those who use a lot, then go ahead and stop the process.  Here, this article shows how to use the activity monitor: use on your Mac activity monitor

  If it is still slow, so we would need to test it in a new user account and also in safe mode.  In this way we can isolate more when the question is in fact.  Read these articles to find out how to do this:

• Photo very slow download on iCloud drive, Mac Air 2009, El Capitan

  I hope someone can help... I installed El Capitan on my Mac Air since end 2009 and since improved Air and iPads to iCloud by car. Are my approximately 9000 pictures on Mac Air download at a speed of max 50 per hour. Also I don't see any files or folders in the Finder/iCloud drive. Something clearly happened because my network has significantly slowed down. Is this normal?

  You synchronize these photos with your iCloud photo library?

  If so, you won't see them in your iCloud drive. The library and iCloud drive are 2 separate areas.

  Don't you have optimize activated? It takes much more time for a large library like yours.

  Your download speed depends on your wifi. It is generally not as fast for most users as the download speed.
