  I have a new job, but wanted to keep exclusively for development.  So I discovered that RDP with multiple monitors does not work with Windows 7 Pro, only Windows 7 Ultimate/Enterprise.  I have an active subscription to CARDS that gives me at least a Windows Ultimate license.  I have RDP'd in the new workstation to perform an upgrade of Windows.  I entered the license key of CARDS, but the process completes successfully.

  So, I switched gears and decided to upgrade the old machine to Windows 7 Ultimate using the same process, but connected directly (no RDP).  It works beautifully.

  * PROBLEM * now my new machine requires activation, and it won't work with Windows 7 Pro license. In my opinion, he thinks that he himself has upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate.  How can I fix it.
