CyberLink PowerDirector

I continue to receive updates for my HP Support Assistant, advising me to download/install the Cyberlink PowerDirector.  I did it several times and it never downloads and the red exclamation point is always on the HP Support Assistant logo in the toolbar.  I'd appreciate any help!  Thank you!

I had to uninstall and reinstall the program according to an email from HP.  Thanks a lot for the quick response!

  • AK031TX: Cyberlink PowerDirector software

Is the Cyberlink PowerDirector software pre-installed when I bought the HP Pavilion Gaming AK031TX permanent or termination as mcfee recently laid off?

    Thank you

    Hello

It's basically a slightly smaller version of the commercial offer; the license is permanent and does not expire.

One point to mention is that you can sometimes see "Update" options or 'Upgrade' - update option improves just the current installation, while the upgrade option will take you on the Cyberlink site, where you can buy the retail version.

  • CyberLink Powerdirector has disappeared

I have a craving for M6 with Windows 8, only a year and I got of Cyberlink Powerdirector on it; I never used it until a few weeks when I started to use it to change some of my video game images. around the 13th of this month, I saw a HP Update for Powerdirector, so I decided to go with the update, but after I did it, the program has been completely removed from my system. The thing it's files for Powerdirector and indeed, the rest of the library material of Cyberlink are still on my computer, but the program itself is completely absent. I tried to reboot several times, without success.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

I have a HP Pavilion Notebook PC (G6-2241sa), using MS Windows 8.1.

When I open programs and features , I see "CyberLink YouCam".  Yet, when I type "Cyberlink" in the start window I see, as well as "CyberLink YouCam", I "CyberLInk PowerDirector" (version 10).

When I check the specs for my laptop I see I wish "CyberLink Power DVD".

  • Laptop HP 15-f111dx: 10 windows clean install

My laptop came originally with 8.1 Windows preinstalled (purchased in 2014). Last year, I did the free update for Windows 10. I also did the original OS HP Recovery disks for the supplied Win 8.1 system with my laptop, and I did the 10 Windows upgrade USB recovery.

My question: I plan to do a Windows 10 'clean install' because I don't think I necessarily need ALL the pre-installed software HP initially installed on my computer, which of course remained after I did the upgrade to win 10. However, my question is if I do a clean install, I'm aware that NONE of the software original HP and drivers (including the HP Support Assistant who helps with updates software/driver) would be installed.

I have concerns not to get the updated drivers if I did a clean install.  I assume that there is no possible way to later install SOME of the software that came with my original installation, as the DVD burning software (CyberLink), Foxit Phantom PDF program, etc.

Can someone shed some light on this topic, especially if you did a clean install of win 10? Thank you.

    Hey there @jrobbie82.

    Hello

You have many options in PS/2 connection to the PC and video game.

    Option 1: Using Media Center:

Unplug the TV TV Tuner card cable on the back of the tower. Connect the PS2 front AV Ports.

Click on start-> Media Center, click Settings-> configure Live TV, there is no signal, click on let me configure manually, choose composite-2 and channel scan. It displays the video of PS2

Option 2: Cyberlink PowerDirector using pre-installed on your PC.

Click Start-> all programs-> CyberlinkDVD Suite, click on the Menu Photo and video, click on capture, click settings and make sure that the Analog Audio input is selected.

Option 3: Use of third party software:

Download Dscaler from the URL below.

    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/deinterlace/DScaler4115.exe

Installation, open it from the Start Menu, click on Source tab above, choose the Composite AV input, click on "Channels" tab above, select Setup, select the country and click on scan. It shows the video input PS2 click Ok.

  • Increase the video RAM on a Satellite C660-1N6

I tried to run a software for video editing (Cyberlink PowerDirector 8) on my Satellite C660-1N6, but it does not start.

I was informed that 64 MB of ram of the laptop is not enough. My old laptop had a shared ram of with256Mb card SIS Mirage 3 and the program worked fine.
I told myself I must increase the video ram 256 MB, but I don't know how this will affect the operation of the excellent laptop.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

    Hello

I found some info that your laptop has graphics UMA (Unified Memory Architecture). This means that the GPU uses system RAM instead of having there own dedicated RAM. They are fine for the use of the web, watching movies and so forth, but don't not to play or using video graphics performance of publishing applications.

As I know there is no way to manually set. Everything works automatically and depends on the RAM used in Notepad.

  • CPU upgrade for HP Dv7-6179us?

I did a video on my laptop and quickly noticed that my current system could not follow the program I run (Cyberlink Powerdirector 11). I already ordered a new 16gig RAM again and I was wondering what I can do to upgrade my CPU... Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated thanks!

I'd be able to keep my current hard drive and always install the new SSD in extra Bay?

Yes of course. However, it may require a fresh install of Windows on the new SSD. Origin of the hard disks on computers laptops HP are larger that the SSDS and a factory reset can end with a lot of mistakes because the ssd is not large enough to manage the restoration to the original state. A new facility has always worked for me with the key of portable computer product at the bottom of the unit. The only thing I had to do was uncheck activate online because it must be done after you get the activation message (by phone is ok) a few days later.

John, thank YOU once again for having responded to my problem.

you me earlier successfully helped to *import video, clips* much
appreciated. So, I can now move on to do the rest. My project is not
too complex to everyone that I'm still in the testing phase. My project is 02:30
min, music added (15 seconds) and the title of recovery at the beginning.
then another (20 seconds) music and title overlay at the end.
Therefore, I do not consider that my case is complex. Due to my problem, I
have learned to save my project after every movement I made, such as
Import each video clip, created a title etc which helped a lot
because I don't have to rebuild my file after each ACCIDENT. I now
checked all the "Compatibility tab" and hope that my future in building a
    film will be brighter.

I thought that maybe I should buy a good video editing
software to get rid of all these headaches.

For your INFO, I only do music videos, I do not yet have pictures.

Much * thank YOU * for your help. Grace

I have the brand new HP Pavillion 23 A6 Vision 23 "all in one PC.  Of course, it comes with the webcam. I never know about this bunch of bundled stuff. Maybe someone here would be kind enough to tell me if they are freeware or is going to be a trial I will pay, in which case I have no desire to start.  The majority of this list came immediately the Add/REMOVE.  Now that I made the list I see that it is too much for a person probably know them all.  I'm not a big fan of music and video and games downloads. Eventually, I would keep if free games, but not if they are fresh. Yet once, maybe, you could number and type Y for Freeware and N for the trial.  Not always clearly they do if you have a trial or free until it is installed.
