Activation speaker W260g

On my W260g clamshell phone, how to activate speaker?

DAMAC

Here is the link for the page online of Support technique W260g plenty of resources for your phone.

See page 23 of the guide of the user, also linked to the product support page.

When you make a call, the screen should show a SPKR ON probably lower right screen, simply press the soft key directly under that text (button in the upper corner of the keyboard), press to turn it on.

  • Your speaker during the call volume is adjusted with the keyboard arrow buttons up or down
Just an aside: arrows even adjust the volume of the ringer and vibrate when not not to make a phone call.

Let us know if it works for you, thank you

  • Switching for audio only participants in active speaker video

    Hello

Is it possible to set up a multiparty videoconference to switch the video from visible participant in Active speakers (according to ActivePresence), BUT not switch the display to audio only participants?

Our users would like to continue to see the last video active participant rather than fill the screen with blank background when an audio participant speaks.

We use vTPS and conductor, and for the most part, ad hoc conferences. but I'd be interested in hearing other solutions that can adapt...

    Hello Peter

Switching to the active speaker is by design and cannot be disabled.

  • Conversationalist active Server of telepresence and Silhouette film strip

    Here's the scenario:

Three IX5000 usings call conference bridge.  A bunch of users are also challenging a single Meetingplace audio conference.  Then a user IX5000 will merge the telepresence as well as audio Conference and all is well.

It work very well using CTM (Cisco Telepresence Multipoint switch).

We recently tried to replace CTMS with telepresence server.  The problem is the silhouette of the active talker band and film are rampant.

With the server TP when the active talker calls a Phone 7960 series her generic figure filling an IX 5000 screen so it is useless and annoying.

Also, we get a lot of generics of the silhouette for all callers call professionals is not useful and annoying.

Can we disable the active speaker and functions the film for points not telepresence endpoints or something?  Or is there another approach to take?

    Hi Tod,

Unfortunately there is no current way to disable avatar audio active speaker on version 4.1 of the GST and especially beyond manually enter a control center conference TMS and video for the user who is audio only of inhibition.

What follows is a good thread on this same issue:

    https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/12631876/disable-Telepresence...

CSCus88355 is used in a feature request to allow this should be disabled, I would advise this sunrise with your account team directly.

  • continuous audio recording

I am trying to record streaming audio.  I use the program audacity on an inspiron 15 5537

Audacity gives me three options Audio host including 'Mrs., DirectSource Windows and Windows WASAP.

There are various options for recording device according to which of the three options host, I have chosen: it is Microsoft Sound map, stereo mix (Realtek), the activated microphone, active speaker and primary Sound driver.

I would appreciate any ideas you can share about what combination of parameters would work well - I'm not having much luck.

    Oscar

Hello Oscar. One you want is stereo mixer to record audio internally that plays the laptop.

Open the sound properties and on the mixer recording tab stereo is selected as device by default. If not, right click on it to open the context menu where you can activate and set as default device.

I don't know about Audacity, but on my laptop Latitude with Windows 7 I updated Ms.

  • SX20 floor control

Is someone can you please tell me where I can find the floor on a Codec SX20 control options?

We use this quite regularly on our MXP95s but can't find it on the SX20 and who need the end user must be able to define what remote end point (in an appeal of the multi-site) is shown in the privileged position.

    Hey Wayne,.

Control of floor on devices of transport CANADA is not possible at this stage. You may need to trigger a feature request for it. You can change layouts, as Jens mentioned. But prominent position adjustment far endpoint could be achieved only by using the active speaker where endpoint speaking it will be shown in the view.

  • Cannot change the video presentation of telepresence

When I join a telepresence SX20 one of our WebEx MeetingCenter conferences, we are unable to choose a layout on the SX20. It uses only the small size main speaker (or split screen), with the film strip separate from participants on the lower 25% of the screen. We can press 2 on the remote SX20, or end camera control allows you to select a new layout (it highlights blue), but it never goes to this provision.

Is there an option in MeetingCenter that blocks the layout to the participants of telepresence? I can't found.

Am I missing some config somewhere?

    Thank you

    Tony

Video endpoints will always see participants WebEx within one component, and that they see is based on which is the active speaker, however other connected video settings will be visible within their own separate streams.  You can change the layout of the endpoint using DTMF (2 and 8) or FECC, but the layout changes will only see if you have more than one point of video endpoints connected to the meeting of cloud of CMR.  The control of the layout with the content on the screen, it seems that this provision is fixed and cannot be changed.

  • Telepresence MultiPoint switch

    Hello

Try to learn the telepresence Multi Point pass but failed to get a clear picture of how the screens turns after bypass surgery CTS 3 or more together.

    a. what happens for each site displays x 3 CTS 3000 together? or maybe more?

    b. how to MultiPoint chooses which screens/segments to display?

Thanks in advance and happy new year!

    Kind regards

    Paul

    Hi Paul,.

First of all, I understand you are trying to learn more about Community trade marks. However, it is important to note that Cisco is going to the server TP and CTMS will be crush by TP server soon. This is the end of official sales and announces end of life for the community Cisco brands: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/prod/collateral/ps7060/ps8329/ps8331/ps7315/end_of_life_notice_c51-729081.html

Question A: it depends on what policy switch is configured on the CTM. You have two options, switch to the room and switch of the screen. When using the policy of the switch of the room, when the users speak to any side (left, right, Center) of the CTS 3000, for example, the telepresence system all (three screens) is displayed for remote participants. When you use the Switch screen policy, when users talk on the right side of the CTS 3000, for example, only the right side will appear to remote participants.

Question B: well, CTMS makes this choice first based on what policy switch is configured. In addition, when CTMS receives audio and video from an endpoint CTS 3000, for example, because of Protocol TIP, CTMS is able to discern what video and audio streaming is coming from each side of the CTS 3000. For example, when users are talking on the right side of the table, CTMS know that these audio and streaming video are coming from the right side of the telepresence system, because the TIP protocol brings this feature. CTMS is able to discern when he is supposed to show each segment (form) of telepresence, when you use the screen Switch strategy, for example. In addition, CTMS is also able to compare the audio level received from each segment of each endpoint connected to the Conference, so that it knows which segment has a higher level of voice and we can consider this segment as the active speaker.

TP Server uses a similar logic, but there are some important differences, especially when it comes to the layout.

    I hope this helps.

  • The unwanted 'no speaker' icon on windows desktop and active

We have a large square icon 'no speaker' bounce around on our Office W7 and on top of active windows. The President works currently as are all audio components. Thinking that it was associated with the button "mute" on the keyboard, we changed keyboards but no luck. We looked at the parameters related to the speaker icon in the system tray and they all seem normal.  A reboot didn't help. We cycled headphones/microphones in the connector of the control panel front and which did not help. This makes us crazy!

    Thank you.

I simply blow the computer and get a new one if this continues.

    Yann,

No need to blow up the computer. Right after that I sent the last answer I looked down on the ground to find out my Cocker Spaniel Puppy sleeping on the remote control for my monitor. I picked it up and there was a 'Mute' with the same icon that I complained. I pressed the "Mute" button and the problem resolved!
    Now I can sleep again.
That's the problem with dogs. Always play with our remotes.
    Thank you

  • Activation on 8220 blackBerry Smartphones speaker

    Hello

I've recently updated to a 8220 and I have a problem, small but very annoying. When I answer a phone call comes in the speaker is activated for a few seconds and then switches back on speaker No. I don't want the speaker must be enabled. I'd appreciate any help to solve this problem.

    Thank you.

Welcome to the forum QAM. You can try a battery pull, but most likely, you will need to update the operating system. I think that some users have this problem when they had the phone programmed to respond to the opening.

  • Volume options and the speaker in Windows XP icons are not active

The speaker in my taskbar icon disappeared and the solutions in contlol ane panel volume't available.
    original title: Volume

No, not the thing to do.

It is for the audio drivers missing or corrupt, not the mixing table, which in this case is probably corrupted (sndvol32.exe), it is a MS file!

    Follow these steps:

Right click on my computer on your desktop > second option down - explore > in the menu bar, click Tools > Options > display > scroll down and check "Show hidden files etc" > Apply > OK > then, in the left pane, navigate to c:\windows\system32\dllcache > find and copy the sndvol32.exe file > paste said file in c:\windows\system32 > crush if requested.

    Re-boot

You should now have your rear speaker icon.

BTW, if you do not find the dllcache folder, then there is another more technical way to recharge the mixing table, so re-post and have your XP CD handy.

    See you soon,.

    Jerry

Another BTW: If you really want to re - install the audio drivers and your PC/laptop is a 'make' (HP, gateway, etc.) then go to their Web site and get the drivers correspondents there. Install the drivers from the MB manufacturer only if you have built your PC yourself.

  • Why is there no applications that will automatically speak incoming iMessages or SMS?

For any activity that see a person check iMessage or SMS during the travel (car, bike, etc.) and the obvious fact that users don't care what laws are passed (they can and will text while driving)

You would think there would be a wide variety of applications in the app store that would speak your messages for you. I know of one, called drivesafe.ly who don't/does that, but can't stand Apple.

Now, I know, Apple does not open upward is iMessage API for third-party applications, and I know that you can try a few things to that accessibility - however these aren't real replacements for an application that would simply speak a text Message you receive. From what I hear, Apple will allow, in iOS10, third-party applications interact with iMessage, I hope for one you'd see more of these types of applications. You wouldn't think that would be a proactive feature and save lives, that apple might want to push for development? I know that it would be safer and even more convenient.

    What are your thoughts?

    Siri read your new messages.
