Activation state of the Signature field

I have a multipage with 18 different signature fields form. I need to initialize the form with hidden Page 1 and after the signature of a certain area, this page would become visible. My code is as follows:

PostSign field form1. RCP_Form_Page1.Block_28.Suppliers_Signature is:

Form1. ProcurementLetter_Page1.presence = "visible".

Initialize the form1 field. ProcurementLetter_Page1 is:

If (form1. RCP_Form_Page1.Block_28.Suppliers_Signature == null) then

Form1. ProcurementLetter_Page1.presence = "hidden".

endif

The code above works until you close and then reopen the form. When reopening, it is by default return a null status because null does not work in this case. I even tried adding ".rawValue" at the end of 'Suppliers_Signature' and is not solve it.

I think the question of the root is how test the if statement to show a true state of whether or not the signature field is signed?

Thanks for that answer!

Hello

You can also try the docReady event, which is the last event to pull that renders the page. Maybe it's better than the initialize event.

Good luck

  • Context in the Signature field

    I need to find a way to put an image in the background of my signature field.  It should be possible using java, but I don't know how to do it.  The other option would be for me to do kind of transparent image appears over the signature field.  I tried, but the signature field appears on top no matter what.  Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the update. To use the background custom in LiveCycle:

    1. Select your activity of signature
    2. Select the Properties tab
    3. Scroll down to the section appearance Options Spec
    4. Uncheck the 'Use default Adobe PDF Logo'
    5. Click the Browse button
    6. Find and select the file SignatureLogo

    Ask also about changing the appearance of the foreground. You can create a custom signature independent of the background skin. In Acrobat or Reader:

    1. Select Edition > Preferences (Win) or Acrobat/Reader > Preferences (Mac) menu
    2. Select security from the list box
    3. Click the new button in the appearance group box
    4. Here's where you can play with what you want to view and remove and you can also import a custom chart

    In LiveCycle, there are similar controls to import an image and selecting the items to display in the appearance Options Spec same aforementioned section.

    What size of the image should be (how much of the page, it should fall), that you will have to sign something and see what it looks like. If nothing shows up it's probably too big. Try and resize it down. What I do is to create a blank PDF file and then use the Document > menu of context to add the image. In the dialog box add / update background, you can put the image and control the opacity to get the look you want.

  • I would like to open my document and have the cursor automatically on the Signature field. Is there a setting for this?

    I'm looking for a framework for EchoSign where the document is opened and the cursor will be in the signature field.

    Thank you

    Hello

    By default, once the signing opens the document, he must click on the Start button that will point to the next field. If there is only a Signature field, it will point to that only.

    Kind regards

  • When I send docs to singnature, I also need to send the docs of signature in the same email... the 'signature' field shows at the top of the last page, but I need to show at the bottom of the second?

    I'm new to the Adobe service and I have 5 documents I send to every email.  Two of the docs require signatures, but the others although important, don't require signature.  I want to send all documents in an email, but it seems that the platform sees all 5 documents into a single document requiring a signature that ends by appearing at the top of the last page (ends up being a document that does not require a signature).  Everything works well except the signature field that the platform assigns to the document.  Is it possible to change this?  Have the final signature field appears at the bottom of the second page of the document?

    Hello

    In this scenario, you can manually place the signature fields in the first two pages.

    When you do not place the signature manually fields, system automatically places a signature filed on the last page of the document.

    Please make sure that you place the signature field manually, so that the system won't automatically place the field.

    -Go to the send page

    -Select overview, positioning the signatures or add form fields

    -Click next to add the signature fields

  • How to fill a field of date with today's date when the signature field is signed?

    How to fill a field of date with today's date when the signature field is signed? In the LCD, I insert a signature field and a date field, what parameters in these two fields are necessary to make this work? Is the date field, the value calculated? I tried different JS suggestions I found, but none work. In the form, I named the signature ClaimSignature field and the date in the ClaimSigDate field.

    The thought of her with a little help. In the script editor window, I selected the postSign event and added the following JS:

    Form1.Page1.ClaimSignature::postSign - (JavaScript, client)

    var date = new Date();

    var day = date.getDate ();

    var month = date.getMonth () + 1;

    var monthstring = (month, 10?) ('0' + month: month)

    year var = date.getFullYear ();

    var = year DateString + '-' + monthString + '-' + (day< 10="" "0"="" +="" day="" :="">

    ClsimSigDate.rawValue = dateString;

    I'd do the signature field read only until something is entered in the required fields.

    Attached a sample file that has two text fields and field of signature, the signature field allows only when certain values are typed in two text fields.

    Steps to achieve this:

    (1) disable the signature field when the form is loaded

    (2) to activate when the two text fields values are not null

    PDPageAddAnnot works on compatible reader of PDF files.  Otherwise, Yes, you need Cos.

  • Reset the signature field

    I'm having a problem with resetting my signature fields. It seemed to work very well in reader X but not XI.

    I have a form with several signature fields, and every time that a signature field is signed, then it blocks in some areas. Now when I reset these fields of signature (via a button), it resets the field itself but does not open the fields that he initially locked.

    Any help with how to unlock these fields as well?

    When a domain is locked when a signature field is signed, the field is set read-only. You can cancel it by setting the property read only fields on false:

    getField("text1").readonly = false;

    You will need to do this for each field. If you use a naming hierarchy for the fields, so that all those that you want have the same prefix (for example, group1.name, group1.address, etc.), you can set them all with a single statement:

    getField("group1").readonly = false;

  • Add the signature field to the second occurrence of two words (nieme Word) on the page

    I have a script that searches for two words ("APP ENG") on a page and adds a digital signature field.

    The trick is that there are two occurrences of these words and place the script in the field of digital signature on the first ocurrance of the two words.

    I need the digital signature script to add to the second occurrence of these two words.

    There was a counter added the script, but this place then the field on the word ("ENG"), it might have to do with the meter to count one word instead of two.

    If someone can help me to modify the script to count the words and the occurrences of two words instead of one word it would be most appreciated.

    Script as follows:

    var ckWords; pair of words to test

    var number = 0;

    numWords = this.getPageNumWords (0); number of words on the page

    loop through the words on the page

    for (var j = 0; j < numWords-1; j ++) {}

    get the pair of words to test

    ckWords = this.getPageNthWord (0, j) + ' ' + this.getPageNthWord (0, j + 1); test words

    If (ckWords == "ENG APP") {}

    Count += 1;

    If (count == 2) {}

    var q = this.getPageNthWordQuads (0, j);

    convert quads in the rotation by default user space

    Userspace used by links

    m = (new Matrix2D).fromRotated(this,0);

    mInv = m.invert)

    r = mInv.transform (q)

    r = r.ToString)

    r = r.split(",");

    var m = this.addField ("EngSignature", "signature", 0,

    ([r [0], [1] r, r [2], r [5]]) ;

    }

    }

    }

    Thank you.

    You must use the left coordinates of the first table and the right of the second table.

  • Applying the active state of the NAV menu high level. to the child pages

    I try to keep a consistent look across child pages of a top-level site. I want the main navigation bar to remain in an active parent page state, while the user navigates the child pages associated with this page using submenus. Ideally I'd like the active State to remain in the top level menu so that the user knows they are still within that parent while they drill down to the specific information they are looking for.

    New to this and am really your "no HTML" experience, just design work lags. For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    I created a work around what has worked for me.

    My design is a simple text with a highlight color box in the text. I tried to change the text color and the highlight color for stay active when the child pages.

    So what I did was copy the main navigation of my template feature main principal is then 'Paste in Place' on the template page of my child.

    Then on the pasted copy, I changed the text color, background of the text box to cover a master changed and main navigation text box highlight color to match the active state.

    I hope it works for you.

  • Set the Action to add a script to the signature field digital signature

    In the properties of the digital signature in the tab signed field there is an option to run a script when the field is signed.

    I can manually add a script for the properties of the field of digital signature with no problems.

    I now need to add this script in the field of signature by program (batch), but do not know how to call the "run a script when the field is signed in option.

    This is different from the mouse upward, the mouse to the bottom of the actions and I couldn't find the terminology for this in the javascript reference guide.

    var f = this.getField ("ReviewedSignature");

    f.setAction ('?', app.mailMsg ({bUI: false, cTo: "emailaddress.com", cSubject: "Technical Document for approval and signature", CMSG: "Please check and sign the technical assessment document" + "\n\n" + "Best regards" + "\n\n" + "Name"});)

    Note: This is for Adobe Professional 9.

    Thanks for any help provided.

  • How can I change the active States of the child pages in the menu bar?

    I have searched through the muse adobe tutorials but can't find it. I want to change the appeareance of submenu of the menu bar items. I can't find a way, how this is done? I guess it's something fairly easy. Thank you!!

    Hello

    To change the appearance of submenu items, you will need to select them. To do this, keep clicking on the submenu item that you want to change the menu > submenu > Menu item. Once the (shown above left) Menu item is selected, you can change the appearance of this menu item. Select other menu items on the same page to edit several at a time.

  • Need of signature field must be signed before

    Hello

    I created a form that collects information and needs to require a digital signature before it can be submitted.  I use livecycle 8.2 and will use the tool for distribution to distribute and track and collect responses.  I used the following script in the preSubmit event to make several mandatory required fields before they can click on the button submit created by adobe in the distributed form:

    If (this.) IsNull)
    {
    This.Mandatory = 'error ';
    xfa.host.messageBox ("enter the information in the name field.");
    }
    on the other
    {
    This.Mandatory = "disabled";
    }

    I could not require the Signature field with this same script.  I placed the script above in the event preSubmit for my field of Signature however, if a user does not sign the document and receives in turn then the message box and the mandatory error when they sign the document that they continue to receive the message and mandatory error.  It seems that rawValue of a Signature field is always null?  How do form recognition when the Signature field is signed?

    Your help is greatly appreciated,

    Tilson

    Hi Tilson,

    For starters, the AcroForms and XFA (designer of LK) forms are completely different animals! Even if a XFA in a 'wrapper' PDF form and can be opened in Acrobat/Reader, it can be changed in Acrobat. You will see a lot of normal Acrobat features is grayed out when an XFA form is opened.

    If your normal "Add/Edit Fields" menu disappeared and Acrobat push you the designer to LC.

    The funniest is the solution XFA to watch the State of the signature field is a function of AcroForm.

    It's messy...

    A possible solution is to have a required field, what is hidden. This will prevent submission, but the error message will not help because it will tell the user that not all fields are completed, but they won't see a hidden. We'll call the hidden field 'signedFlag '.

    Then in the signature field layoutReady event:

    var oState = event.target.getField("form1[0].page1[0].SignatureField1[0]").signatureValidate();
    if (oState != 0)
    {
         signedFlag.mandatory = "disabled";
    }
    else
    {
         signedFlag.mandatory = "error";
    }

    Not pretty, but maybe worth a test.

    Good luck
