Change the default zoom impression

When I go to print a document numbers, default zoom on the second page (the one with the blue background with the button print below on the right) is still 65%. It's too small on my screen. Is there a way I can change the default value?

Hello Arnold,.

The purpose of the page view is to show you how the document will appear on the pages when printing. It is not intended to be a view in which you examine the details, but one that gives you an overview of the entire document as it will be printed.

65% is the default because it places most of the left upper part of four pages on the screen, allowing you to see where page breaks occur, and what are the changes on the scale can be used to adjust the document on fewer pages or develop to fit perfectly on several pages.

If you want to read and edit the content, click done (without printing).

Kind regards

Barry

I posted a style rule to shrink the tiles, which allows several of them on the page, but naturally reduces their legibility. You can experiment with the dimensions to find a look that works for you.

I use the Stylish extension to experiment because of its preview function that allows me to see the effect quickly. You can install it from the site of modules, then after restart of Firefox while searching for his "S" icon in the toolbar to manage Styles so you can edit and experiment.

  • Change the default zoom level?

I am using Camera Raw 8.3. Landscape pictures open to a zoom level default of 33.3% with CR maximized to full screen. I prefer to work with the zoom level of 25%, so I have to change the zoom level on EACH photo, I proceeded, and it's a step, I want to eliminate them.  MY QUESTION: Is it possible to change the level of zoom to 25% by default, so the zoom level is 25% automatically when I open an image in Camera Raw?  Please tell me there is...   Thank you.

There is not a way to change the default zoom level in Camera Raw.  All images open by default in the view to adapt, and that real zoom level will depend on the size of the window and the size of images.

However, if you are working on a group of images, you can quickly set each of them to your zoom level (25%).  Here's how: open images in Camera Raw.  The images will be displayed on the left side of the film.  Select all the (Cmd - A / Ctrl-A).  Then choose 25% from the context menu to zoom (bottom left of the ACR dialog box).  This will set the zoom level to 25% for all selected images.

  • How to change the default zoom level and make it persist?

My computer uses Vista 6 and IE 8.  The default value for the zoom level is 0.  I have to manually change to 80 and my change is not persistent.  How can I change the zoom to 80 level and make the value persists?  Note - under Internet Options, advanced, accessibility, "Reset the zoom level for new windows and tabs" is not checked.

The DPI setting always displays 0 or 100% zoom, even if you use the custom settings of the zoom displays 100% from there.

    Unless I'm missing something?

But there still make the text smaller really made a lot of meaning for me in any case, I find the default 125% even small and use the status bar and its 140% zoom page as well :)

You can even check to see if your resolution is on he recommended setting to match the size of your screen.

  • How to set the default zoom according to the screen in Linux level?

Starting from the same account, I can use different types of screens: low and high DPI. I would like to have the font size (and more generally, the zoom level) right of each screen.

To set the default zoom level, you can set the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx, but we can't define it it fixed-value, which is not OK, because I would like that the value depends on the environment (as for the font size in the menu which is always OK, because it depends on the resource Xft.dpi X 11).

Note: I have several profiles, while it is not even possible to write a wrapper that could modify the prefs.js file, because I don't know in advance which file would I need to change.

    What can I do?

One possibility would be to use the mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder.
This file can contain JavaScript that runs with full chrome privileges and it it not difficult game of the pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to a correct value for the screen currently attached.
You will need to know how to calculate the dimensions of the screen.

  • How to change the default "Fit width" Bookmark Action?

When Acrobat 9 Pro combines the individual image files into a single PDF, auto-generated bookmarks all have them "Fit width" in the default bookmark action.

However, in my situation "Fit width" is not adapted: it must be 'Fit Page' instead.

You can manually change any bookmarks generated automatically "Fit Page", but when several individual image files have been combined, which is a lot of work!

Is there a way to change the Actions of bookmark by default so that the generated result is automatically "Fit Page"?

    Thank you!

I don't know if you can change the default value, but "Autobookmark" Evermap lets convert all the bookmarks in a document for the zoom you specify with a few mouse clicks (and loads of other useful creation and editing functions for links and not present bookmarks in Acrobat vanilla).

The only way I know is to create a table that is set up as you like, then save the empty document as a template customized by using the menu item "file > save as template:

Is there a way to change the default options when png or JPEG received on a mac? I can choose between backup to the downloads folder, or open photos. I would like to open in preview instead. Any ideas?

Problem solved. No apparent reason, the two choices (save downloads and open in photos) presented disappeared and now I have the only option I get is to open the image in preview. No idea how this happened, but my problem is solved.
