Old Modem from Comcast is dead. Went and fought a Motorla SB6141 new modem.

plugged in, reset the wireless router and got the Activation Self Comcast page.

All right, said the device has been activated and saved.

I can use the internet, with the exception of a single site. Whenever I'm trying to get to www.ourtime.com, the registration activation page keeps popping up! I tried flushing my DSN and powered by the modem and the router works.

This only happens in Firefox, so I deleted all cookies and cache this app too.

Using Safari, I can get on the site.

OK, so I was going to try to reset Firefox and was looking for the Preferences tab.

Go to advanced and click on network settings.

Then under Connections at the top of the tab.

'Use the system proxy settings' was chosen, so I decided to try to 'automatically detect the proxy for the network settings.

    Guess what? IT WORKED!

Didn't have to try to reset firefox, as the Mozilla suggests 'expert '.

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    2. do you get any error code or error message?

    3. do you have Sonic software installed on your computer?

Sonic is the CD burning and packet writing software that comes with your system. The mistake itself probably comes he uses the installer, Install Shield and his Manager update is not installed.

I suggest you to start the computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem persists. If the issue is not persistent then try to put the computer in a clean boot state in order to determine the program that causes this problem.

Step 1: A description of the sure start in Windows XP Mode options:

Step 2: How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State:

Note: once you have completed troubleshooting try the steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state.

Since upgrading my OS3 shows to watch, I noticed my apps opening shows randomly by themselves. The update makes the screen more sensitive to the accidental keys? I often find my calendar app or open when I least expect it.

    Hello

Apple has not announced any changes to the sensitivity of the screen.

If you find that you accidentally tap the watch face complications, you can choose a different dial with fewer complications or remove some of them from your currently selected dial of the watch.

  • Active window keeps switching out by itself.

Initially the flip 3D function would happen by itself, quickly and repeatedly, whether or not I was using the keyboard and mouse.  I disabled flip 3D and the current window will not always remain standing; It keeps flipping back to the miniature view of open programs, even if one program is running.  I suspect my wireless keyboard/mouse may have something to do with it, but I'm not sure.  It is quite difficult to solve without keyboard and mouse.  I did replace all batteries and reset the USB connector.  I had this kbd/mouse for 2 years and never had a problem like this.  All Windows Vista updates have been installed.

I downloaded the latest driver for my keyboard and mouse (Microsoft wireless laser 6000), and that did the trick!

    Thanks for your help.

  • Full screen programs keep out by themselves

    Hello

Whenever I use programs full screen, they sometimes minimize and return to the desktop and when I try to click on it again, it goes full screen and suddenly reduced again and after that hard about 4 times keep it full-screen. No one knows how to fix?

    Thank you
    Lawling

Looks like another program can interfere with the program you want to have full screen.  Consider using Sysinternals Autoruns or msconfig and Process Explorer to eliminate software running - stop programs, processes, services and see if you can reproduce the behavior. Slowly, add / restart programs, etc., and test to see how behavior can return.

Consider trying a clean boot to see if the behavior is present.

  • Active window keeps off activation

The window, in that I work keeps "dropping out" while typing, so disabling is the right term. It is with all the programs, therefore, seems to be a Windows problem (I'm on Windows 7).

I use a laptop computer with keyboard and mouse remotely is not "brushing the touchpad. Sometimes, as an open window, so it's not "switching" between the windows.

Don't know if these are questions related or not, but I get also some windows (for example control panel MacAfee) to come in white and others have off very quickly as they are currently considered.

  • How to keep tabs of "constantly" "reloading" themselves?

From the update of Firefox 4 tabs appear to keep repeatedly "reloading" themselves a little, quickly bogged down my computer when multiple tabs are open. How can I turn off the tabs of "constantly" (or often) 'reload' themselves? I prefer by far using the refresh option when I want them charged or put up-to-date.

    Historical problem and effects:
Before Firefox 4, I have several tabs (like 30 or 50) open without a problem. With Firefox 4 (and Firefox 5, until now, what seems like, a slightly lesser degree), my computer starts to slow down considerably for each tab after about 5 (or when Firefox and "plugin - container.exe" max out my CPU usage) and takes more than 10 or 40 seconds to load a page after 10 or 15 tabs, instead of only 1 second. When I have a large number of open tabs now, at some point, most of them said 'connection '.... "in the title of the tab (the same as they say, for at least a moment, when the page/tab opening).

    Clarification of "reloading":
I continue to referring to the tabs as reload repeatedly, but I don't really know what they are doing. they just seem like that is what makes them, since they frequently change their title of the page (or the name of the tab) 'connection... '. "and they seem to put a load on my computer that, as far as I can tell, it of like the page loads again, or has been refreshed. I have not really noticed any change in the pages when they do this thing that looks like a sort of reload for me, so it obviously and, fortunately, is not doing the same thing by pressing F5 don't. The random things as of advertisements, or friends featured on the Facebook page of someone, would change when you press F5, but they do not have this problem that I describe.

    Closed:
In general, I am very happy with Firefox, but this feature has been annoying me greatly. I looked for ways to turn it off, but didn't find any. It could be useful that I know what it's called, and exactly what it does.

    Thank you.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
