Windows Activation Technologies popup window

Microsoft program, Windows Activation Technologies, keeps popping up asking permission to make changes to my computer.  Why?  Window 7 was on my computer when I bought it new.  Microsoft is cheating on me by letting them install Windows 10 on my computer?

Can you please send a screenshot showing the message?

I suggest that you run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage diagnostic tool in normal mode (not safe mode) and copy and paste the results into a response for further analysis:

http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52012

Run the tool and when it ends, click the copy button, open a text such as Word or Notepad file and select Edit, paste. You can paste directly into an answer here. Open a response, right click and select Paste.

  • Popup "Windows Activation Technologies", saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows". 0x8004fe22 validation error

I haave had this since 2008 HP Pavilion desktop computer.  It came with Win 7 Home installed, and Office Depot had upgraded to Win 7 Pro.  I ran it without any problem of validation for more than three years now.  Tuesday I'll be back for an appointment and the computer went to sleep.  When he woke up normally, I found a 'Windows Activation Technologies' popup saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows".  I tried the link "pay online now", but he ordered me to have to pay for a new facility.  I do not want to do because my Windows has already been purchased and is valid for more than three years.

Then run Windows Genuine Advantage Diagnostic tool and it came true.

I ran full virus and malware scan with Avast Pro and Malwarebytes Pro and a complete diagnosis with Advanced System Care Pro tools that have always kept this system clean and stable.  As expected, no malware, regular maintenance tasks only were delivered.  It's been several days since the last time that I made no change to the system (I upgraded a utility) and the system has been rebooted at least four times after that without problem.  The only other change was an update of Windows.  Interestingly, after that same Windows Update on my machine Vista, it refused to start (BSOD) and I had to go back to a two days old restore point - that fixed it.  I always had a mysterious problem with Win 7 Pro machine that it creates restore points, but I can never find, so I can't have this option on this computer.

I'm trying to start a new business and cannot afford to be without my computer, or do strange things, or buy a new copy of Windows and take the time to restore a careful configuration of three years.  I when I recently bought a new laptop from Office Depot, I also bought a Windows 7 Pro upgrade kit and installed myself.  When I did, I realized that the update CHANGES THE PRODUCT KEY and I knew not when they improved the office... they give me new product key for the Pro upgrade, so all I have is the original OEM key and apparently going to lose my Pro upgrade if I need to reimage from the disks in the system or the OEM partition.  This is not acceptable, either, and I have no idea how to go about face.  The transaction took place three years ago!

Please help; I'm already running on the razor's edge with the launch of this company.  This error is likely to destroy me financially.  I can't do what I need to do on the laptop - it is a low-cost, minimal machine and specifically, has no office and the ability to perform graphics... things cutting-edge software that I need to be able to do.

    Click Start

    in the search box, type

    System restore

    and press the Enter key

Once the system restore is displayed, click Next

Now put a check mark in the box "Show more restore points.

    What points appear now?

If there is a just before your problem, try this.

If this isn't the case - as I say, CANCEL any act performed by ASC and uninstall it.

Then run another MGADiag report and post it.

  • Windows Activation Technologies - Windows not genuine

I run Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 on a desktop HP refurbed for over a year.  And now, as everyone (or what it seems), I get the pop-up Windows not genuine mandatory.  He started just as I was leaving for a trip of 6 days; I fired, but if have pop-ups.

    According to the update history:

KB3004394 has "successfully" installed on 10/12/14

KB3024777 has "successfully" installed on 12-12-14 (I left early this morning, back last night)

KB3004394 or KB3024777 appears in the updates installed (as I believe Microsoft intended)

Windows system proclaims "Windows is activated".

Seems that the problem is related to language packs. If you have installed language packs, you can take a look at the following link:

  • Windows Activation Technologies, said that this computer is not running Genuine Windows"

Good evening... I have a few question on my Windows operating system.
I have laptop-HP Pavilion DM4-3001tx build with Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM)... At least the year that I use, now I got the message of Windows Activation Technologies because my Windows is not genuine.
    My question is:
Can I do my genuine Windows again (without re - install & buy the genuine copy of Windows). If possible, how?

Sorry, I'm not good in English & please forgive me if my English is too coarse and hard to understand. I thank you for your advice and have a nice day.

    Try the following:

Check your hard drive for errors:

    Click Start

Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

    Click on "Run as Administrator"

At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    also:

    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any breach of integrity

    Restart your system

    also:

    (3) right click on CMD.exe and select run as administrator

    (4) type: net stop sppsvc (it may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)

Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, that's ok.

    (5) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

    (6) type: Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat

    (7) type: cd %windir%\system32

    (8) type: net start sppsvc

    (9) type: slui.exe

    (10) after a few seconds of activating Windows dialog box will appear. You may need to reactivate and/or re - enter your product key or Activation can occur automatically.

Run the MGADiag again and post the report

During the validation, use Internet Explorer, not Firefox.

  • Popup of Windows activation technologies tells me that my computer is not running genuine windows

Hi, I've been running a genuine copy of Windows 7 Pro for about 3 years. However twice now asked me to download & install the windows genuine advantage tool. When I try to run this software it tells me that it is already installed and stops the installation. The activation problem disappears after this error?

This seems to have started, because the last set of Windows updates have been installed.

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.
-* in your own thread *, please

Please also state the Version and edition of Windows cited on your COA sticker (if you a) in the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but does NOT quote the key on the sticker!

  • Windows Activation key Popup

Can someone tell me why the key of Activation Windows message keeps popping up in my Windows 7 OS, I use on my iMAC via Parallels Desktop version 8 (I have a legal copy of MS Windows 7 Ultimate).  Anyone know how to prevent this? Windows does not allow me to update windows because of the contraband suspected Windows 7 copy, I'm supposed to be running on my computer. Thanks iin advance for your reply.

Please open Internet Explorer (only!) at http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/.  Do not TOUCH your computer or close the window of IE before the remote Validator has finished its scan, then restart your computer. If you were not able to validate, follow these steps:

    1. Download this diagnostic tool, save it to your desktop (Win7), then right click on the saved file and select run as administrator to run the utility: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=56062

    2. once the race completed, click the continue button, and then click the copy button (on the Clipboard).

Note: You can open a new file in Notepad, paste the contents of the Clipboard in it & keep for future reference.

    3. start your own, new thread in the following Microsoft Genuine Advantage forum and paste the results of the diagnosis of MGA tool in your post, and a clear description of your problem: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/genuinewindows7/threads

4 Troubleshooting specialist will analyze the data and recommend an appropriate solution.

  • Instalation of Windows 7 not valid indicates "Windows Activation Technologies' false

Some time earlier this year my computer began to report a fake windows installation 7. However, it is the original software installed on my computer hp pavilion dv7 laptop. I keep hope that every windows update (I do not receive my automatic monthly software updates) will fix it but no luck. I'll be eager to upgrade to windows 10 this year but I have no idea what will do this glitch to this procedure.

    I'd appreciate any help offered.

    Frank grant

I appreciate all your efforts to help me with this problem, but the effort that I should do about it looked really great. I decided to try an upgrade to windows 7 to windows 10 as the best solution. and it was! My upgrade to win 10 has been a success and the problem disappeared.

Thanks again for any attempt to help me directly attacks the problem of windows 7. The approach I took was really the easiest and most effective.

I hope Microsoft has a handle on the cause of this problem and it did not appear downstream in the windows 10.

    Thank you

    Frank grant

  • I am stuck in a loop of Windows Activation, I think. My number is 130316012811021.

Activated yesterday again with the help of an agent of Microsoft and Windows Activation Technologies popup claiming that my Windows is not genuine seemed to stop.  She came back again today, so I guess that Windows will break soon.

The only material change, I had was a swapout of SSDS a few months ago that I started the original hard drive after running it a week or so on the SSD.  The SSD was then wiped and used on another Vista machine I have.

I don't have any malware that I know, last database from Malwarebytes says I'm clean.

My copy of Windows 7 was purchased a few years ago through a curriculum (update of XP) and unfortunately I can not find a product key or the front desk.  It was 'authentic' all this time, however, I know.

What is frustrating is that the diagnostic tool says even 'real' below.  What should I do now?

  • Windows 7 x 64 enterprise not real popups on a real system

My company gave me a couple laptop years at home because the screen got busted (I'm the company IT Department.). So I use it as a Media Center with a monitor external 24 ".  I removed all applications except Media Center. It is used in the room, so look at a most is done while in his bed. Then when the "your system is not authentic" pop-up happens I just press the green button on the remote control and Media Center jumps forward. Problem solved temporarily. I did it for a year or more. But now I want to remedy.

Now, this laptop was part of our area of work for a year or so and never complained of not being authentic. When I moved it to my original domain that he never complained. But sometimes in the last year or so he began to complain. System properties show that it is authentic. The MGADIAG.exe shows that it is authentic (see below)
