ActiveAutoTextEditField 'Cut' a menu item raise a java.lang.securityexception

I have an application with a login screen that has an ActiveAutoTextEditField for a username (which is an email address). If an e-mail address is displayed in the field, and the user it highlights and selects the menu item 'Cut' a java.lang.securityexception is thrown and the application closes.

We are currently testing our application on 3 different devices - 8800, 8310, 8100. This error occurs on both 8800 and 8310 devices, but not the 8100. I can't reproduce this error in one of the simulators on my PC.

Anyone have any suggestions to solve this problem, or know if I am able to remove the offending menu item 'Cut' in the context menu?

Long ago, I had the same problem with field Date JDE 4.0 with BB 7290 device.

Exception occurred when I ran copy Menu.

I've implemented the following solution.

/**
* Invoked when the trackwheel is clicked.
* @param status - Modifier key status.
* @param time - Ticks since device reset.
* @return True if the event was consumed; otherwise, false.
*/
public boolean trackwheelClick(int status, int time)
{
try{
Menu menu = new Menu();

makeMenu(menu, 0);
menu.show();
}
catch(Exception e){
// HACK!!!!!
// this try-catch added to prevent SecurityException on device
// (on simulator this bug does not appear)
// When user tries to do the following
// Open menu on date field, and select "Copy"
// I do nothing here, I am just catching and ignoring this exception
}

return true;
}

Just take and ignore the exception in place when you view the menu.

If you don't require authentication, then activate the overall approval between the areas.

When this feature is enabled, the identity is passed between WebLogic Server domains through a RMI connection without requiring authentication in the second field. When the inter-domain trust is enabled, transactions can commit on several areas. A trust relationship is established when the credentials of domain for a field matches the identifying information from area to another area.

By default, the credentials of domain is generated randomly and therefore, no two areas will have the same domain credentials. If you want two areas WebLogic Server to interact, you must replace the credentials generated by a credential you choose and set credentials even in each of the areas.

• How to run the "Research & Editor" Menu item in the java script, VBA

Hello

I am currently trying to access the method to control adobe acrobat (research and editorial) menu items via script using "MenuItemExecute.

I can call/display menu simple by using the following command:

Dim acroAppObj As Acrobat.AcroApp

Set acroAppObj = CreateObject ("AcroExch.App")

acroAppObj.MenuItemExecute ("ShowHideToolbarRedaction")

Now my concern is to actively control the search method. I was able to get the information about the available menu names and function:

[cName:RedactionToolsItem, oChildren:]
[
[cName:Annots:Tool:RedactMenuItem],

[cName:Annots:Tool:SearchRedactMenuItem],
[cName:RedactionSeparator],
[cName:RedactionMainToolBar]

But I must admit that I can't find the syntax/argument to call "SearchRedactMenuItem".

You say that you could "get info". Is that mean that you try to do it without using the Acrobat SDK documentation?

• Java.lang.SecurityException: permission denied show.document url - what to do?

I wrote a code contains show.document to see the file .jpg on the xp sp3 32-bit client. Form 10g is located on the Oracle Linux server, db as well. I use IE6, 7, Mozilla or Chrome, java 6 or 7 - the problem is the same and looks to lies in the security of java code. Anyone have a solution to this issue?

Thank you.

If the image you are trying to view is located on the end user's computer and you try to use the WEB. SHOW_DOCUMENT to view it using something like file:///somedirectory/myPix.jpg which is why you probably see the error. It is not the destination of the WEB. SHOW_DOCUMENT. SHOW_DOCUMENT is intended to convey a http or https URL to a browser in order to access remote content. If you want to access local content, you will need to use WebUtil or create your own Java Bean.

Also, be aware that Oracle supports more using Microsoft Windows XP. This applies to Oracle Forms and Java.

• Menu item "Available networks" appears not-Windows XP.

After a few years of use, all of a sudden my wireless stop working. When I follow the instructions of Windows and go to control panel / connections network and Internet, Microsoft Help guidelines say connect to wireless network, under available networks, click the wireless network to which you want to connect.

But there is not 'available networks' showing. There were once! I used it, the PC has hung up, I rebooted and that you have not been able to connect from.

I looked for answers here and haven't seen those who specifically say that the menu item is not displayed.

Help! Thank you. :)

If you do not see the list of available networks, your wireless network card may be cut or broken. Many laptops have a switch that turns off the wireless radio. Maybe it's a physical switch or a key combination (e.g. Fn + F2).

You have an external wireless adapter or one that is built into your computer?

If it is external, what is its brand and model?

If it is integrated, what is the brand and model of your computer?

Open the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK)
Expand the network adapter category by clicking on the +.
What is the name of your wireless adapter (make and model)?
Right-click on the entry of your wireless adapter and select Properties
What appears under the "device status"?
What is stated under "use of the device?

What version of Windows, including the service pack is installed? Do right click my computer and select Properties, if you do not know.

I have an application where a browser obtained from browserContent.getDisplayableContent () field is added to the main screen. This adds 'Selection Mode', 'Page View' and 'Find' menus.     }

My request is basically similar to the example of BrowserFieldSampleApplication.java, which is part of the SDK.

Thanks for your help

I managed to solve it this way. In my class that extends the screen, I substituted makeMenu():

protected void makeMenu(Menu menu, int instance)    {        menu.deleteAll();     menu.add(myMenuItem1);        menu.add(myMenuItem2);        super.makeMenu(menu, instance);    }

The deleteAll() method removes all menu items - then I add my own menu items. Finally, super.makeMenu (calling) adds the "Close" menu item

Hallo,

When the user logs on successfully, the applitacions led him to the main.jspx page.

The main.jspx page has a menu bar that contains all of the available menus, submenus and menu items.

After the connection, when the main.jspx page loads I would hide all the menus, submenus and menu items that the user is not qualified to see/use (I read the database).

You kindly tell me which is the way the cleaner to achieve?

Hello rohanwalia,

Sorry, but I need more help

I guess that the solution is to create a method in the AM who - reading form the database - returns a structure that indicates for each menu item should be visible or hidden.

• How can I use the data returned by this method?
• I call in a managed bean specifically dedicated to the management of the menu? Can I also use the already existing media bean, I created for the page?
• What scope should have the bean?
• Don't you think that it is better to define a 'visible' variable Boolean (initilized depending on the result of the AM method) for each menu item and how to bind the Visible property of each menu item to the variable respective in the bean in the bean?
• Or I can loop the result of the method AM setting the Visible property of the menu items? In this case, I guess that all the menu items must be mapped into the bean by user interface variable. Am I wrong?
• Is it not possible to write a method which, of the AM directly, hide the menus not necessary on the page (so without using a bean)?
• In general, which are the correct always to hide menu items:
• (1) before the page is sent to the browser (as "I can do it with PHP);
• (2) once the page is loaded in the browser (as I can do it with JavaScript)?

If you could give me some more detailed advice... I would be very happy.

Thank you

Federico

(1) its best to make the treatment inside the method. You can return the parameters as normal java method.

(2) Yes, you can use bean already exists in the project. But better to create a separate bean for this task of menu.

(3) scope should be request unless you need to persist the attributes between requests.

(4) Yes it is possible. You can define and initialize a Boolean variable with the results you get from the table based on the menu items should be made visible.

(5) If you use the approach to point 4, then also you have to loop through the table menu items and set Boolean variables of bean. Yes you are right for the second part.

(6) I'm not sure about this approach. How will you map it to your menu mode. It takes research.

(7) before the page is loaded. I share with you links in above post with which you can do this.

I hope this helps.

Thank you

• Problems with tables of Menus and Menu items

The short story's I am a graphic interface for application design, it has a lot of menus and menu by menu items.
I thought as in normal Java, I could simply do an array of Menus and many of the menu items. My problem is that it compiles fine, but spreading tons of exceptions. I use Netbeans as my IDE.

Here is a sample of my code. Is not all that, but that's the part I have printing has problems since he worked before moving to tabular form.

[Menus] Menu = Menu new [11];
menus [0]. SetText ("file");
File [] = new MenuItem MenuItem [8]; DEFINITIONS FROM FILE MENU

file [2]. SetText ("Open"); Open
file [2] .setOnAction (new EventHandler < ActionEvent > () {}
@Override
{} public void handle (ActionEvent arg0)

Element 'FileChooser' fc = new FileChooser();

File = fc.showOpenDialog (primaryStage);

}
});

leader [2] .setAccelerator (null);

menus [0]. GetItems(). AddAll (file);

Menu bar bar of menus = MenuBarBuilder.create)

. Build();

menubar.getMenus () .addAll (menus);

VBox vbox1 = VBoxBuilder.create)
. Children (MenuBar, scrollPane1, BTN)
. Build();

ap.getChildren () .addAll (vbox1);

in any case the stuff compiles fine without error. But Netbeans spit exceptions as a guy who ate a bottle of ipecac and the bombs of programs.

I don't really know what to do. I would like some recommendations.
If possible I would still use arrays of Menus and Menu items, but if this is not possible, I would like to know and understand why not.

(Sorry, that swapped with your previous message).

You have a NullPointerException because you try to reference menus [0] when it has not been initialized:

Menu[] menus = new Menu[11] ;

creates a reference to an array of 11 Menus, but not initialize them. So, each element of the array is null.

menus[0].setText("File");

throws a NullPointerException you are trying to call a method via an object reference (menus [0]) that is set to null.

You need

Menu[] menus = new Menu[11];
menus[0]=new Menu();
menus[0].setText("File");
// or just replace those two lines with menus[0]=new Menu("File");

and similarly, no doubt, for all other elements in the menus array.

You have problems similar to sets of menu items.

Hello

The only places where you can add separate menu options lies in the command menu or add new extensions that appear in the windows-> menu other panels. There is no other way in which the menus can be added without being replaced by the Flash Code.

For more information about adding separate entry into the menu commands or the Windows menu.

(Menu) - add the jsfl script to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS6\en_US\Configuration\Commands

and that automatically will be appear on the Menu commands on Flash raises.

(2) add a (panel) for the C:\Users\ Flash SWF\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS6\en_US\Configuration\WindowSWF folder.

• debugging automatically when you call a script of a menu item

Hi all

I just came across a question I was wondering if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction.

I have two startup scripts.

Some custom menu items and actions that call a few other custom scripts running in the 'session' and ups configurations target engine.

The other runs in my own custom session and is used to initialize and share common constants and functions between my custom scripts.

This all seems to work as expected and by clicking on the new menu item calls, the correct script however, even without the ExtendedScript Toolkit running as soon as I click on the menu item, it will load the ESTK and break on the first line of the script. If I press F5 to continue the treatment, it will end and works very well.

I use currently the package has excellent (http://extendables.org/) to make some HTTP and simplify the creation of the user interface that does not specify a session.

Nobody knows what causes the scripts to debug automatically or is there a setting that can be defined to cause this?

This is caused by the 'session' calling 'customSession' using the code that runs in the 'main' session by default?

This really is irritating me at the moment so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

All this is done using JavaScript in InDesign CS 5.5

Thanks in advance

followed a line in the package has:

level of $ = 2;

I then went on the extensible site on github to raise what a problem only to find out someone had already pointed out, I didn't see the question before. DOH!

Anyway thought i better update incase someone else on the forums try to use the package and meet this Issus.

I had the opportunity to check it out in IE7 now and this is the line-height: 10px; in the css styles "navBar" which is at the origin of being cut off in the browser menu items. Just completely remove the height of css rules.

{#navBar}
background-image: url(images/nav-bg.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
Width: 780px;
height: 61px;
line-height: 10px; / * remove this style * /.
}

• Form of appeal in the Form10g Menu item

I use the formula 10g.
I created a menu module m1.mmb. I added a menu item to call the form f.fmx file.
I set the command to call the form f.fmx, as follows:

Begin
run_product (FORMS, 'f', SYNCHRONOUS, DURATION, FILESYSTEM, ",");
end;

All files are in the same location.

After the compilation of m1.mmb I have attached to the main.fmb form. When I call f.fmx form of main.fmb, it works fine. But when I try to call this f.fmx a menu item, it displays the following error:
FRM 92101: There was a failure in the Forms Server during startup. This could haped due to invalid configuration.
Please look in the log file of the web server for more details.

When I try to know, it shows several Java error Exceptions.

What is the main problem? What should I do? Could someone plase explain in details?

Hello

Try using OPEN_FORM integrated.

OPEN_FORM('f', ACTIVATE, SESSION, NO_SHARE_LIBRARY_DATA);

Kind regards

Manu.
