Adapter error while configuration DB in Server Admin

Hi all
I can't configure the DB adapter settings in the Console.

DBAdapter-> Configuration-> outbound connections-> Pools

There was an error reading the file descriptor.

Errors occurred during the initialization of a new deployment plan.
[SPI: 260080 deployment J2EE] Cannot set the "C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_SOA1\soa\connectors" application installation directory Directory could not be created or a file.

Hello

The message is clear enough, either you do not have the directory or the user from weblogic isn't able to is read/write.

If you do not have the dir, you probably have an installation problem.

If it points to the wrong place, you can try and fix it by editing the config.xml file.

If none of the above are true, check if the user from weblogic has permissions to write to this directory.

See you soon,.
Vlad

    Hello

Check if the atg_admin.war is present in your ear.

If not then DafEar.Admin module is not picked up correctly and the ear does not correctly.

Try to make the ear using the CIM and not by the runassembler command.

  • error while configuring nfs for unix or openfiler

    Hello

I need NFS help set up for the test esx host.  I use openfiler nfs and windows to UNIX servers to install the nfs server, but without success.  I have the following errors. Error in the configuration of the host: NFS error: unable to mount filesystem: unable to connect to NFS server Note: I need to configure something special on the esx service console host?  I have already installed nfs components and mounts.

    Audits:

I can ping my server nfs, listening on port 2049, enable the firewall client nfs on esx host

Anyone know where the steps by steps to implement nfs or openfiler for nfs work of a to z.

    Thank you for helping

You should check your settings of double and proceed again, enable NFSv3 with ESX 3.x is very simple. To install NFS using Windows Services for UNIX, follow these steps:

    On NFS Windows 2003 Server:

    1. download the component on microsoft.com

    2 copy the/etc/passwd and/etc/Group password of ESX 3.x folder c:\etc\ windows host.

    3. install on your windows 2003 server and choose the "custom" option and choose "User mapping Service" and point the to these 2 files in c:\etc\

    4. use Windows to Unix admin console add 'administrator' and 'root' and click 'apply '.

5 create a share as 'd:\data\sharefolder' and click on the tab 'NFS Sharing' and pass 'read/write' option and allow root access.

    On ESX 3.5 hosts:

1 turn on the firewall for the NFS client settings

2 chkconfig nfs and portmap autostart level 235 as mentioned

    3. create the network porgroups as (SC, VMotion, Production, Test, iSCSI, NFS) make sure you use different subnet for NFS/iSCSI traffic.

    4. you can customize your files /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny to hold account access restrictions. for example (rw, async, no squash root)

    5 restart your NFS daemon.

    Notes:

Allows you to add storage wizard NFS Client VI-> the server name or IP address (this is your nfs server) and (mount point) such as /sharefolder and give him a "(NFS LUN01) label something like that."

Check your ID, permissions, and settings, and ping them test information.

Nothing else I can think of at this point if its does not work. Everyone is welcome to jump in.

    Best luck!

If you found this information useful, please consider awarding points to 'Correct' or 'useful '. Thank you!!!

  • error while configuring HA on ESX 4.0

    Hello

I have a setup of test for vSphere 4. The omes of following error message when you configure the HA agent

"Cannot complete the configuration of the HA agent on host computer. See the details of the task for more information. Misconfiguration of the installation of the host network. »

The vCenter has been upgrade to 2.5 u3 vCenter 4.

All entries in the host file has been verified. Servers can mutually, the vcenter ping and vice versa.

There is no set of entry door so it took the default gateway. but it does not ping. and I got the same error.

    Pls suggest.

    Kind regards

    Pratima

can I give any address as the address of insulation?

    Yes, need only to pings.

Well, I think only gateway is used for this.

If you have Yes, if you do not set and you have only 2 host, you must provide another "ping".

    Izz all well
    GTA...

    Hello

The name of the connection that you created in the Workflow Manager must be identical to the value you passed in the value of the CAD parameter.

To find the value of connection in workflow manager goto connections > relational. Here you will find the name of the connection, and this value must be the same value of the CAD parameter

    Thank you

I managed to solve the problem of deployment by modifying the deployment under the Application properties configuration:

    1. unselect Auto Generate and Synchronize weblogic - jdbc.xml deployment descriptors

2 deselect the credentials under Security Deployment Options

3 deselect users and groups under deployment and Security Options

I think auto generation of weblogic deployment descriptor - jdbc.xml was most probably the origin of the problem.

    Thank you.

Have you tried restaring the server and deploy again.
Before deploying again, make sure that your application of DBAdapter, database is running.

    Thank you

    Hello

    • He previously worked? If yes you remember to change your computer before this problem?

    Method 1:

Disable the firewall and then check if it helps: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

    Method 2:

Start your computer in a clean boot, and then check: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean Windows Vista or Windows 7 boot http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: when you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7 to start the computer in normal startup.

  • Cannot install identity server: Error 20: Configuration of identity

HI I am trying install IDM system as indicated below the order.

    Oracle DB-> DIO (two Instance OID1 & OID2 on separate RHEL5 box)-> OVD (OVD1 & OVD2)-> OAM

I managed to install this configuration until OVD. But once I started the installation of the identity server, installation is the break with the error "Setup.product.install, com.oblix.installshield.ObExecWizardAction, committed an error, an error occurs." Please try again. Error 20: Configuration System identity already exists on the specified LDAP directory server. »

Before my comrades of the few tried to install identity server without success that is why maybe right now I am not able to install it again.

Let me tell you how I got above error.

Installation of server identity request information from the server directory twice. First time I chose option as 'Data anywhere' and after that, I gave details of the OVD (IP/Ports/cn = orcladmin/password) and I got above error. I ignored the error and continue with the installation and the second time I chose options like "Oracle Internet Directory" and provide clarification of the OID. Yet once I had the same kind of information.

So I droped UCR and reinstalled OID (not OVD) and tired installation of identity but no luck received the same error at the first stage (OVD/data anywhere). This time I didn't continue with installation.

Please help me solve this problem, and I also want to know how to remove the server Idenitity information leave OVD (OID too for later use).

    Thank you.

    Hi Phil,

The error message "Identity System Configuration already exist on the specified LDAP" complains that the schema of objects required by OAM already exsit on the ldap specified. The schema update must be run once (usually the first installation of server identity, even if it can be performed manually as a stand-alone operation) on each ldap instance, after what retrofitting of identity is not required this step, which can be avoided by not responding "" when asked if this is the first server to identity must be installed.

In order to check if these schema objects are in your ldap, look at the diagram for a large number of classes of objects oblix * and ob * attributes - if they are there then the schema has been added. OAM only supports the OVD as the user ldap, not the configuration store store. When you install a server identity, it is necessary to give the OID (in your environment) as the configuration store and installation will be blessing the OID_oblix_schema_add.ldif file to update the schema of the OID. When you specify the user as OVD store, OAM adds VDE_user_schema_add.ldif to the OVD schema.

I think that your schema objects can be good, but if you want to clean your directory, you can use files from * delete.ldif provided (all ldif files are in identity, oblix, data, common) for ldap servers and start again.

    Kind regards
    Colin

  • Continually, I get the error that cannot reach the server while trying to install SP1.

Win XP Pro reloading, get all updates

I reinstalled Windows XP Pro and need to update to SP1 to 3 as well as all security updates.  (After download) installation, SP1, I continually get the error that cannot reach the server, visit Web of MS for a version that requires no web access if the problem persists. I can't find this version of SP1 that does not need to happen on the server from Ms.  In addition, isn't there an easier way to get all updates when you perform a new installation instead of going one by one with all the updates?

If you have SP1A, then you can go straight to the installation of SP3.  If you have SP1, then you need to install SP1A or SP2 before going to SP3.  You can get the updates described in the following article:
