  The time Capsule is what we call a 'network' of the road, so when the USB is connected to the time Capsule, which would make it a "network" drive as well.

  Unfortunately, Time Machine is unable to back up a 'network' of the time Capsule drive.

  If you want to save the data or the USB disk using Time Machine drive, you will need to connect the drive directly to your Mac and then it will be saved with your Mac... assuming that the drive has been formatted for Mac to Mac OS extended (journaled) format. Then, the player will become a "local" drive

  As long as you use a 'managed' library all the imported photos are copied to your library and those outside of the library can be deleted to free up space on the hard disk.

My guess is that since the app of my photo stream is an iCloud service, the folder is not actually on my Mac anywhere but straight up into the cloud, somewhere I looked and looked, but the closest location I've seen suggested was " ~/Library/Application Support/iLifeAssetManagement/assets/sub ." which was a few versions of OS X there are and no more seems to exist. Any help is very appreciated.

  They are inside your photo library (or iPhoto Library if you use that).
