  I have an Asus Essentio with Windows 7 Professional. Although the computer was working ok, I installed the FIX It Professional [I bought it to install on my computer to girls] for the interview.   I am at a loss to know what to do.

  Recently, I downloaded Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007, which seems to be very well. The problem is the automatic updates do not work. After searching online, I did the start > run > Winver and he says I have Service Pack 3.   So I thought I'd download the SP2.  But I did not know if Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 actually means I have SP2 installed or not.  And I got in such a mess last year I don't want to take any chances again.

  I found more information. Looking in my history of update for automatic updates, all 4 of these updates failed have the same error Code which is: 0 x 80070663.  I don't know if this info helps solve this problem or not, but that's it.
