Add horizontal scrolling - Table to continue to move
How to create a horizontal scroll bar for the main content in this site is not shifted to the bottom of the page when the browser window is resized smaller?
The site is http://www.snodallion24.com/
When you resize the window to the smaller browser table contained main bumps at the bottom of the page, then a horizontal scroll bar appears. I want the main table of horizontal scrolling content and set to appear without the table down to stay. So maybe the question is how to keep the main table of contents to move to the bottom of the page when the browser window is too small to fit?
I know that I am an amateur and a DIY'r and I suspect that the page deisgn is inherantly wrong. I hope eventually to redesign the site in CSS, but until I get a better handle on CSS, I'll have to do with it.
The site was built in a previous verision of Dreamweaver, but I'm currently using CS5.5.
@John,
Please specify the URL.
@Peak9,.
Add this to your CSS code.

How to adjust a horizontal scrolling to move larger increments
Hello
You can try the following to see if this will give you the option that I described earlier.
First, download the latest installer driver Synaptics, on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.
http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp52001-52500/sp52352.exe
Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.
Once done, restart the laptop.
When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation. Once done, reboot the laptop again and see if the option is now available.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the driver I suggest fails to install, use Recovery Manager to reinstall your original Synaptics driver - how to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.
Once the relocation complete, restart the laptop.

Move the focus from the listfiled to the particular label (horizontal scrolling problem)
Hello
In my application, I have some labels (which are focusable) at the top of the screen that I put in the manager (hfm_lbl) horizontal field with horizontal scrolling.
After hfm_lbl, I have a listfiled.
Now when I scroll to the top of the listfiled (i.e.from from bottom to top), the focus moves to top but sets the last menu of the hfm_lbl.
I want the focus to specify the label of perticular.
Any help is appreciated...
Thank you...
drawFocus won't help with this.
The problem is only a HFM, when focus activates it by underneath, will automatically set the focus to the last item in the list. Therefore, substitute this transformation.
There are actually two options, depending on whether you want to override the onFocus method, or use a FocusChangeListener. I know that some people have had problems with the onFocus() substitution, so recommend the listener. But I never have, so after you will find a sample of the code that I use in this circumstance.
The thing is that the treatment in the HFM should remember the lastFocusField (one of your labels) when the focus is moved there. This challenge, I'll leave with you. Still, he has a variety of options and not better. So whatever you think probably will work fine. One option is to set the HFM as a FocusChangeListener for all the domains that are added and then remember the last one, who won the point - then the treatment is autonomous in the HFM.
The following codes assume that lastFocusField is a field in the HFM, one user had developed on before the ListField moved t. This method overrides onFocus() in the HFM.
protected void onFocus (int direction) {}
super.onFocus (branch);
If (direction! = 0 & lastFocusField! = null) {}
UiApplication.getUiApplication () .invokeLater (new Runnable() {}
public void run() {}
lastFocusField.setFocus ();
}
});
}
}Edit: I think that Simon and I had to answer at the same time. Just to say, in my experience in this case, you might be able to do it with moveFocus(), or navigationMovement(), but not as easily as onFocus().

Horizontal scroll bar on table
JDeveloper 12.1.3 using:
I have af:table inside the af: panelCollection inside an af:gridCell. Cell's width 100%, panelCollection AFStretchWidth style.
The table is too wide to fit the width of the page. So he has a horizontal scroll bar. This is only if there are enough rows in the game currently questioned that he needs a vertical scroll bar. But if there is no necessary vertical scroll bar, horizontal scroll bar is also absent. You don't see the columns that are to the right of the frame. Oddly enough - there is an exportCollection listener and if you export to Excel, you can see all the columns. In addition, if you use the detachment of the panelCollection function and display the table in a pop-up, the horizontal scroll bar is present in the single table, and you can scroll through the columns to the right.
I have a test application based on the HR diagram, and I can't do a malfunction in the way in which the actual application. Scroll bars appear when they should.
So I have to do something wrong in the real application. Any thoughts?
OK - it's not pretty, but it works:
I set the width property of the table '97% '. 98%, it works on Chrome and Firefox, but not IE. 99% (or 98% on IE) displays a horizontal scroll bar, but it only scrolls across a few columns, the width of the table. Same thing if I set the width to the sum of the widths of the columns. With the help of AFStretchWidth on the table is not working at all - does not hurt, but the problem is still there.
Not as pretty that I would because there is a small empty space to the right of the table (other 3%, I guess), but it is better that it works not.

Possible to add a scrolling movement individually to a widget of composition?
I currently have my items in a widget of composition while I can click on the link of pioneers and the text and image would open etc. I know I can add a scrolling movement to the whole widget, but I want to be able to lock the link of pioneers and text in place and have the images on the right roll to avoid what is happening in the second image. I thought I might be able to add queries scroll individually to each element, but that doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to do what I do not or a workaround that requires not the widget of composition? Or even a CSS code that I could insert that would do?
Any ideas? See you soon
Scrolling effects cannot be applied to high level objects, you can apply, highlight the widget itself but not the nested content, this is normal if I fear that there is no work around if you bring the content outside the composition container and place it on the page and then apply the scroll.
Not an exact solution, but you'll want to check these options:

Published by: user12984479 on April 17, 2010 01:27After you have created him contant and canvas stacked as you said.
(a). open the canvas of the Department (telling) and select the menu view > stacked views.... It will show you this canvas (bunk) employee simply choose which to canvas and press ok. It will be on your main Department Web. Then adjust the canvas in keyboard and mouse on your condition where you want to place.
(b) and for the tab key you said. To do this, you create a trigger called KEY-NEXT-ITEM. You will create this trigger where you want to go to the Web of the employee. Let's say you want that after the cursor name Department should go to the employee in any field of canvan. Then create the trigger on the name field service called NEXT-ITEM KEY and this trigger just write like this...GO_ITEM('
'); -- Change the name upon your block and field name in form Hope it will work.

How to get the horizontal scroll bar of a Table?
Hi all
According to my requirement, I display multiple records in a form in a tabular Format. But here I must show 21 columns in this table that is too high. I am able to view it, but because it I get a scroll bar horizontal to the screen as all columns not in the normal window screen space. But its weird since the research once I am to right scrolling columns, but bar header and Global buttons above are not displayed, they are related to the normal screen space.
Is it possible to have a horizontal scroll bar only for this table instead of the whole screen so that on the slider, only the rows in the table will be beshifted ant had displayed?
With our thanks

A very large page, continues that will feature a horizontal scroll bar
Hello, I am trying to create a simple portfolio site that simply has a long, horizontal page which will be wider than the browser window and therefore produce a horizontal scroll bar that can scroll through manually. It's probably something very simple to achieve, but I don't know how! Can I change the width of the page somehow?
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
Yes, you certainly want to learn some HTML & CSS. Ask yourself everything is really simple, however. As he has
already been said, you only need to change the width of your wrapper div (or any div that you use as a container for your site).
So assuming that you are using a div wrapper for your content, the HTML would look like this:
all content and other divs would be placed here, within the envelope
The CSS for this wrapper div would look like this:
{#wrapper}
Width: 3000px;<-------this sets="" the="" width="" of="" that="" div.="" 3000px="" really="" wide,="" so="" a="" scrollbar="" is="" created="" to="" view="" the="" rest="" of="" the="">-------this>

Why it produces error when I add a scroll bar to a stripchart?
I want to add a horizontal scroll bar to a chart of the band. I have create a checkbox on the Strip Panel. If it is enabled I put
SetCtrlAttribute (psmpanelHandle, PSM_PANEL_ACHART, ATTR_STRIP_CHART_PAUSED, 1);
and I use
GetCtrlVal(psmpanelHandle,PSM_PANEL_CHECKBOX, &val);
to judge if the check box is marked. And the complete code:
//Pause the stripchart traces int CVICALLBACK PauseChart (int panel, int control, int event, void *callbackData, int eventData1, int eventData2) { int val; switch (event) { case EVENT_COMMIT: SetCtrlAttribute (psmpanelHandle, PSM_PANEL_ACHART, ATTR_HISTORY_BUFFER_SIZE, 86400); GetCtrlVal(psmpanelHandle,PSM_PANEL_CHECKBOX, &val); if (val==TRUE) SetCtrlAttribute (psmpanelHandle, PSM_PANEL_ACHART, ATTR_STRIP_CHART_PAUSED, 1); else SetCtrlAttribute (psmpanelHandle, PSM_PANEL_ACHART, ATTR_STRIP_CHART_PAUSED, 0); break; } return 0; }
However, I could not move the scroll bar to view historical data when I stop the curve in real time of the display on the graph of the band.
You are very likely to get this error! As you probably know, you cannot work on a panel or control, before it is loaded into memory, so you must set the attribute table in Pause1Callback or Pause2Callback using the Panel appropriate to manage.
According to the historical graph feature, having the scroll bar is unnecessary until you fill graphic display: once it starts moving and accumulating data on the left side you can move to review its history as well as the scroll bar.

Horizontal scrolling text change number field on the 6.0 devices
Greetings,
I'm trying to create a horizontal scrolling editable text field. The general approach is to add an EditField to a HorizontalFieldManager who has the style bit HORIZONTAL_SCROLL. It works very well on all devices up to 5.0. However, I'm a problem on 6.0 devices.
When the user tries to scroll right well that focused on this field, the text moves to the left and turns off visible region of the horizontal field manager. This can also be reproduced when you tap the (torch device) and continue dragging to the left until it will disappear from the screen.
Now, I understand that this happens because the edit field itself has a width of ~ infinite because its container Manager has scrolling enabled, but is not an acceptable user experience.
I tried to limit the width for the edit field to the width of the text, but which caused exception argument not in conformity. I tried a RichTextField with style hack USE_TEXT_WIDTH bit by directing the keyDown to setText field entries but have other problems.
My remaining solution is to restrict the limit of characters for the width of the Manager, the text on the new line that I saw almost all others apply or write my own implementation of scroll. The only exception is the address bar of the BlackBerry native browser application that seems to be a custom implementation.
Reference:
Any thoughts would be appreciated,
Thank you.
Thank you, setScrollingInertial (false) was actually what I was looking for.
I was not able to implement your approach correctly but I was able to complete another work autour, I had before with the help of setScrollingInertial (false).
Instead, I used a scrolling listener to limit scrolling based on the length of the text (new scrolling when limits are reached). Without setScrollingInertial (false), the scrollChanged reminder would have been called multiple times all by animating the inertia.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to apply this hotfix, because my generation must take over the 4.7 and setScrollingInertial is 5.0 + (customer doesn't want additional constructions). However, this will be useful for future projects.

Horizontal scrolling for textfiled
I created the textfield that used the image to focus, unfocus. I could ' t able to move the horizontal scrolling of the slider on the textfield. If I removed the focus for below constructor method it's excellent work for both horizontal scroll and cursor position. Please, help me to horizontal scrolling is defined (if the character hit is greater than textfield width).
class Textbox extends Manager { private int managerWidth; private int managerHeight; private int arcWidth; private VerticalFieldManager vfm = new VerticalFieldManager( NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL | USE_ALL_WIDTH |HORIZONTAL_SCROLL); private AutoTextEditField editField; private Bitmap bagBitmap; int fntSize=26; String strhint,hint,str_img; Textbox(String _hint, final String image,final String focusImage, long style) { super(style | NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL | NO_HORIZONTAL_SCROLL); managerWidth = 300; managerHeight = 40; hint = _hint; str_img = image; long innerStyle = style & (READONLY | FOCUSABLE_MASK); // at least if (innerStyle == 0) { innerStyle = FOCUSABLE; } bagBitmap =Bitmap.getBitmapResource(str_img); // initialize the image to draw editField = new AutoTextEditField("", "", 50, innerStyle|AutoTextEditField.NO_NEWLINE){ public void paint(Graphics g) { getManager().invalidate(); FontFamily fontFamily[] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies(); this.setFont(fontFamily[1].getFont(FontFamily.SCALABLE_FONT,fntSize).derive(Font.SIZE_MEDIUM, fntSize,Ui.UNITS_px)); super.paint(g); } protected void onFocus(int direction){ str_img = focusImage; bagBitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource(str_img); invalidate(); } protected void onUnfocus(){ bagBitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource(str_img); invalidate(); } }; arcWidth = 15; vfm.add(editField); add(vfm); } public void setFont(net.rim.device.api.ui.Font font) { FontFamily fontFamily[] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies(); this.setFont(fontFamily[1].getFont(FontFamily.SCALABLE_FONT,fntSize).derive(Font.SIZE_MEDIUM, fntSize,Ui.UNITS_px)); editField.setFont(fontFamily[1].getFont(FontFamily.SCALABLE_FONT,fntSize).derive(Font.SIZE_MEDIUM, fntSize,Ui.UNITS_px)); arcWidth = editField.getFont().getHeight() & 0xFFFFFFFE; updateLayout(); } public int getPreferredWidth() { return managerWidth; } public int getPreferredHeight() { return managerHeight; } protected void sublayout(int w, int h) { if (managerWidth == 0) { managerWidth = w; } if (managerHeight == 0) { managerHeight = h; } int actWidth = Math.min(managerWidth, w); int actHeight = Math.min(managerHeight, h); layoutChild(vfm, actWidth - arcWidth, actHeight - arcWidth); setPositionChild(vfm, arcWidth / 2, arcWidth / 2); setExtent(actWidth, actHeight); } protected void paint(Graphics g) { g.drawBitmap(0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight(), bagBitmap, 0, 0); strhint = editField.getText(); if ( strhint == null || strhint.length() < 1 ) { g.setColor( 0xAFAFAD ); FontFamily fontFamily[] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies(); net.rim.device.api.ui.Font font = fontFamily[1.getFont(FontFamily.SCALABLE_FONT,fntSize).derive(Font.SIZE_MEDIUM, fntSize,Ui.UNITS_px); g.setFont(font); g.drawText(hint, 10, 10, 30, 250); } super.paint(g); } }
Could you explain that again so I do not understand your problem. It doesn't seem to be a code of development/unfocus in there?
But before we do, there are a few problems with your code, you need to fix.
In no particular order:
(a) I painted the 'index' in the EditField, rather than in this area. In this way it will appear when a user types rather than being anywhere where '10, 10' is on your property.
(b) move this code:
FontFamily fontFamily [] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies ();
this.setFont (fontFamily [1] .getFont (FontFamily.SCALABLE_FONT, fntSize) .derive (Font.SIZE_MEDIUM, fntSize, Ui.UNITS_px));your routine painting and put it in sublayout. This is the point that it is necessary. Do in object means it is too often and is probably recursively called.
As a result, you should be able to remove
getManager () .invalidate ();
any object and
updateLayout();
of setFont().
(c) when you paint your index, derive the police every time that:
FontFamily fontFamily [] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies ();
net.rim.device.api.ui.Font fonts fontFamily = [(FontFamily.SCALABLE_FONT, fntSize) 1.getFont .derive (Font.SIZE_MEDIUM, fntSize, Ui.UNITS_px);]This is inefficient, you need only do this once and save a reference to it for use when you paint your index
Do all these you will have a better field and maybe your problem will be solved. But if not, then please explain your problem again with more details and repost your fixed code.

Horizontal Scrolling in AbsoluteFieldManager
Hello
I am trying to add several labels to an AbsoluteFieldManager as follows:
final AbsoluteFieldManager man = new AbsoluteFieldManager(); man.add(new LabelField("1", Field.FOCUSABLE), 20, 0); man.add(new LabelField("2", Field.FOCUSABLE), 30, 100); man.add(new LabelField("3", Field.FOCUSABLE), 0, 200); man.add(new LabelField("4", Field.FOCUSABLE), 0, 220); man.add(new LabelField("5", Field.FOCUSABLE), 150, 240); man.add(new LabelField("6", Field.FOCUSABLE), 300, 260); man.add(new LabelField("7", Field.FOCUSABLE), 300, 280); man.add(new LabelField("8", Field.FOCUSABLE), 300, 300); man.add(new LabelField("9", Field.FOCUSABLE), 300, 320); man.add(new LabelField("10", Field.FOCUSABLE), 350, 320); man.add(new LabelField("11", Field.FOCUSABLE), 400, 320); man.add(new LabelField("12", Field.FOCUSABLE), 450, 320); man.add(new LabelField("13", Field.FOCUSABLE), 500, 320); man.add(new LabelField("14", Field.FOCUSABLE), 550, 320); man.add(new LabelField("15", Field.FOCUSABLE), 600, 320); this.add(man);
When I move on the trackpad, the next label Gets the focus. This works well in the direction y. All labels with Label '12' are visible. When I try to get the focus to the next label, '12' Label loses focus. '13' label now has the development in-house, but it is not visible and no scrolling happens. Ditto for the "14" and "15". It is easy to notice, the focus moves to the 14 and 15, because it takes a lot of movement on the trackpad to return to 12. But why the AbsoluteFieldManager scrolls at 13, 14 and 15 to make them visible?
I also tried to add the AbsoluteFieldManager to a HorizontalScreenManager that has vertical and horizontal scrolling. Then, it is even possible to scroll, but not yet all of the labels are visible.
Is that what I can do to make it possible that the AbsoluteFieldManager scrolls auotmatically once a field outside of the visible area Gets the focus?
Thank you
Hello
Finally, I made my own AbsoluteFieldManager. It works really well. You can position your fields anywhere and just highlight the field you want. I also substitute nextFocus() which now moves according to the movement of pad/trackball. I think it is fairly intuitive and not according to the order of the fields. You can also use it on Blackberry OS prior to 5, where AbsoluteFieldManager is not supported.
This thread helped me a lot:
Here is the code, feel free to use or improve.

Left aligning an object anchor in a horizontal scrolling
I don't know the answer to that is going to be so simple, I'll have to learn to start.
I have a Web site that contains a static header section and a table row that contains a number of pictures in a horizontal scrolling. The rest of the page does not, simply scroll the row of a table.
I want to be able to designate certain images as a starting point for a new section. So I created a link at the top of the page,
< a href = "#portraits" > < /a > PORTRAITS
and then appointed one of the photos to be targeted
Beginning of the line of the table
< table > < tr >
< td >... .pictures
< td > <a name = "portraits" >
"< img src =" gallery/5a.gif"alt =" "class ="transparent5"/ > < / a >
< class p = 'notes' > < /p > PORTRAITS
< class p = "title" > & rarr; < /p > < table >
< td >
.. continue on,
The question is, once a user click on the reference how can I make sure that the target is aligned with the left side of the page? What is happening now is just take in the view on the right side. This isn't the estetic wants the owner of the site.
Thanks for the research.

Can I use horizontal scroll to switch between tabs?
I find it useful to switch between tabs with the side-scrolling my mouse wheel. Can I configure Firefox in this way?
Apparently FireGestures doesn't support scrolling directly if you can't make it work. I have no local way to test it, because nobody doesn't know I have a mouse with a horizontal scrolling. FireGestures provides alternatives (I use the tab scrolling of line), however, and supports scripts , if you want to try to use the technical information provided by cor - el.
One avenue would be to use the mouse like Logitech Setpoint or Microsoft Intellipoint software to set the scrolling to run the FF Ctrl + PgUp and Ctrl + PgDown hotkey combo. This would negate native scroll, however.
You can leave your comments at https://input.mozilla.org/en-GB/feedback/ if you do not want to see this feature implemented. I think you're better of trying to get an add-on to do this though, as horizontal scrolling appears to remain a characteristic very niche.

The horizontal scroll bar is not here on some websites.
The horizontal scroll bar is missing when I visit certain websites. This is one of the Web sites, but there are many others still: http://www.fixya.com/support/t23137801-cannot_connect_android_tablet_arris
I know it is contained to the left or to the right of the portion of the screen I see because I can get by using the arrow keys on some Internet sites. On other sites, the arrows do not move the screen, but I know that it is contained on the side because I can see the edges of the images and buttons.
I tested two other browsers on the example site that I mentioned above. Internet Explorer does not have the problem, Chrome has the same problem with the scroll bar, like Firefox.
This problem is tolerable on Web sites were the arrows are a substitute, but on other sites, it makes the site unusable.
I have disabled all browser extensions, and that did not solve the problem. Change the screen resolution has no effect on the problem. I use Windows XP on a ten year old desktop computer. Windows updates are installed automatically.
McGyver
While I don't see anything poking out around the edges of this page, I'm blocking part of the content of the site (e.g., Facebook integration, text-link advertising), so very likely your seems different from mine.
When you compare IE on the same page, what types of photos/buttons do you find on the edges?
She brings the peripheral from the edge elements if you zoom 'out' of the page holding the key Ctrl and tapping the button several times? You can return to your preferred zoom level by holding the CTRL key and tapping the button you like +.
