  Yes as long as the new book is the second computer you install LR and PS on.

  Just go to the Adobe site and download the creative application Cloud then install the LR and PS one. Connect by using the Adobe ID associated with your subscription.

  On your secondary machine, please go to Creative.adobe.com and sign in with your Adobe Id & pass. Once you're connected, plese go to downloads and click on download the product you want to download, or you can download the creative Cloud Desktop application. Two ways, you'd be able to install the product on your second machine.

• Implementation of Lightroom on the second computer

  I have just returned from a long assignment and finally took an iMac.  I've been running Lightroom 2.7 on my MacBook Pro, keeping all the image on a separate external hard drive files.

  How can I import my image hierarchy (about 8500 images, so not huge) in my second version of Lightroom on the new computer?  I want to assure you that all metadata and keywords categories image are imported as well.  I will continue to work on the external hard drive.

  It's pretty easy:

  Just install LR on the second computer and copy the .lrcat file from the old computer to the new and then open it using LR on the new computer. Make sure the external hard drive is attached.

  He has a record that lives in the same folder as your catalog file, named .lrdata. This package contains all the previews of your images that are displayed when you are in the generated Lightroom library Module. If you do not copy it to the new machine, LR it will rebuild, but it will take more time than would the copy operation, so you should copy this folder across, too.

  Under Settings/preferences/editing presets, there is a button that will tell you your presets folder. If you have created a preset of your choice, you can find them here and copy them to the equivalent location on the new computer.

  It is probably easier to re - specify your preferences, but you can look in the FAQ for this forum and find where they are being held on a Mac and move the preferences file, if you prefer.

  It is the trial version. But on the initial screen that appears when you start Lightroom after installing, there is provision to indicate that you have a serial number. Select this option and enter your serial number you already have.

  According to the EULA, you can install CC on 2 computers, but you can use them at the same time.

  Hello.  I am new to Lightroom and I have some difficulty... the situation is:

  I live in two different countries and I have an iMac in every country.  Successfully, I loaded Lightroom CC on the first office, imported some photos, made some changes, and life was good.  I also downloaded Lightroom CC on my mobile devices (an iPhone and an iPad Pro) without any problem.  And I could see all of the photos that I have previously loaded on my desktop.  Life was still good.

  But then I went abroad and downloaded Lightroom CC to my second desktop iMac computer.  I had no problem downloading the software, but I can't view my photos/images.  In other words, my catalog is empty.  Just for fun, I hit the button import, but that does nothing.  I also tried 'Sync with Lightroom Mobile', but gives me a dialog box warning that I need to delete the photos previously synchronized.  I want to do that because I fear that I will lose the previous images that I need and want.  When I connect to Adobe online, I see that my images are here.  But I don't want to work online.  (In that other country, I don't have a compatible internet connection).

  Can someone help me understand this?

  If you are working on 2 computers, it is best to store the catalog as well as raw on an external disk images and advance the disc.
