• Personal firmware roadmap priorities

  It is good to have the roadmap set out firmware and to hear that Sony is committed to respond to comments, but this roadmap seems to be primarily about the features of eminent brochure not available at launch.

  I thought that I list the characteristics less glamours that are expected at a certain time or apparently less complex, but I regard as vital to the functioning of the camera as a tool on a daily basis. I don't want to say it's a weird wish list, plus an order of priority for the features. Here, they are what they are at the moment, the most important first:

  (1) improved exposure tools (waveform for me please).

  (2) AU/TC button more simply decorative.

  (3) MLUT to SDI out shooting S - log to XAVC internal (not gross). Very difficult to convince customers through a monitor that flat, dull scenes will rub upward friendly, honest. This would be number one, except that I think the biggest part of my job to be Hypergamma to XDCam to XAVC is required.

  (4) fix for fan fan (don't have not yet actually the camera, but messages of the forum about it pertained to me).

  (5) HFR for XAVC and Raw. XDCam would be fab too, like everyone else with Final Cut or first can use it, but I understand that technically he is not going to happen. But if you don't ask...

  (6) user Gamma

  (7) record HDCam SR

  Bonus feature:

  (8) simultaneous XAVC / XDCam record to separate cards. I know that this has now been abandoned, but the announcement left scope to revisit, so this is certainly not essential as soon as other features have been implemented THAT XAVC is not ubiquitous it would be well worth another go!

  What are the thoughts of the others?

• Problem of color space?

  

  It's probably a very simple question that I hope someone can easily understand. I process my images to enjoy LR4 and then export them as jpg in the sRGB color space. When I opened the in programs like "Windows Picture Viewer" they look just like they do in LR, but when I download on my Web site or in a software like IrfanView view the images seem terribly supersaturated. I should also mention that it seems that I have to add saturation a little longer than normal to get them looking right into LR. I guess that there are some settings that I am wrong. Can someone help me understand what it could be?

  Looks like I solved the problem. I deleted the old profile of color space and re-calibrated using sRGB as my target so that my images in LR will look the same when I post on the web or send them to my printer. I thought I had done that but aparently he showed too wide a range as B r e t t mentioned. Thank you all.

• Saving project in JPEG loses adjustment layers

  I love working with adjustment in Photoshop layers, as I can always go back to the original image.  The only problem is that when I save on photo in JPEG format, it seems to ignore all adjustment layers.  If I add saturation, adjust brightness/contrast, etc. with adjustment layers, it does not appear when you save in JPEG format.  I tried to merge all layers before the Save and who did not, and I tried to save with all different JPEG options (basic line Standard, optimized and progressive) and that did not help either.

  The only thing I've found that works is saving the file in TIFF first and then opening the TIFF and opportunity save in JPEG format.  What am I missing?

• Problem of saturation IMAQ add

  I take a series of images of 10 bits, and to increase the effective exposure of the camera I would like to add up to 30 consecutive images.  I am able to add the images using Add IMAQ, but the resulting image is as if it was as a 10-bit image and saturates at 1024 (2 ^ 10).  I don't understand why because the dst of the Image in the IMAQ add is connected to an image I16, and so I expected I'd be able to add my images to 10 bits, until I reached the limit of 16 bits.  I'm new to all this, so it is likely that I do just a stupid mistake.

  Currently, I catch N successive frames of the camera using IMAQ Grab, then adds each element of the array resulting to form the new image.

  I understand that I could add up to a subset of the images, then divide them by some power of 2, but I'd like to understand why I can't currently use the 16-bit full, image type.

  Looks like the acquisition is marking the number of bits of your images to 10 bits. Have you tried to use the depth of Bit Image IMAQ to set the number of bits to 16 bits before adding?

  The proposed script was just erase the area of interest, replace seuillees with zeros pixel. To fill this area with a given color, a possible solution is to invert the mask, it allows to make a new image of the area of binarize, multiply by the chosen color (use a saturated color, otherwise you will get color variations) and add the result to the previous image.

  That's what made the attached script.

  

• Photos of more saturated than Library Web and develop.

  The photos in the Web Module are more saturated than in modules library, Develop, book or a slide show.  The Web Gallery uploaded/exported seems normal is only displaying in the Web Module.  Here are the screenshots of the classic Gallery, but the other galleries are also affected.

  The screen is calibrated using a Spyder 5 and this seems to be a new problem that I remember this problem in versions prior to 2015.7.  Using OS X 10.11.6

  The problem is that the Web module does not use the screen profile.  See the bug report, I have just tabled for how I confirmed that: Web module does not use the screen color - incorrect color management profile | Community customer Photoshop family . I linked to this topic, but add your vote me-too and opinion for the bug report to make it more likely that Adobe could give priority to a solution.

• Loss of saturation when exporting?

  So I started using Lightroom as well as Photoshop to edit my pictures, I start in Lightroom, then open it in Photoshop, after that I'm done so I can remove unwanted things and add effects of sunlight etc. Before using Lightroom photos exported very well, but now I noticed that when exporting in Photoshop when I'm completely done my photos lose saturation?

  Thanks, I'll try it. I came up with a simpler solution, once I'm done in Lightroom, I export instead of open the .tif file in Photoshop with Lr. Then when I'm done in Photoshop I export in PNG and it is great!

• Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, won't save presets

  When I add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, and then change the layers I can then save the preset and call it for example call it gold. In the next image, I'm working on the preset is always there to choose from, but when I restart photoshop his party!   Clarity

  Adds depth to an image by increasing local contrast, with a greater effect on the midtones. This setting is like a large radius of sharpness. When you use this parameter, it is best to zoom in to 100% or more. To maximize the effect, increase the setting until you see halos near the edge of the image details, and then reduce the setting slightly.

  Vibrance

  Adjusts the saturation of this cutting is reduced as colors approach full saturation. This setting changes the saturation of all the less saturated colors with less effect on more saturated colors. Vibrance also prevents skin tones to become saturated.

  Saturation

  Adjusts the saturation of all colors in the image just as between-100 (monochrome) to + 100 (double the saturation).

  I am looking for a vintage vibe. Faded, but not of disorder. Softened.

  In my view, there is an online tutorial on how lighten and darken areas that does almost what I need, however, on step 3, the interface is more worm matches the CC and I can not understand how to get to the same controls.

  "Lighten and darken" is not the same thing as "less saturated." If you could post an image that you are working on what would be helpful, but if I just go in the comments (keeping in mind that there are several ways to do things in Photoshop), I would be:

  (1) duplicate the layer (to allow experimentation).

  (2) isolate the area I wanted to fade or Desaturate using the lasso tool or a mask.

  (3) add layers of adjustment, e.g. Hue & Saturation, levels and brightness contrast & twisting as desired opacity and setting until you get the look you want.

  (4) combine this layer with the original or adjust its opacity if you wish. Add a Gaussian blur to soften.

  Or, you could really make it simple by simply using the sponge tool (mode Desaturate) basting on surfaces you want less saturated. Use the blur tool as you wish to soften.

  Temporarily enlarge the canvas and add a color swatch with the value of the LGV

  Then choose the command selection > color range, click on the color swatch and adjust the Blur slider.

  It will make the selection for the Hue/Saturation adjustment

  You can set opacity with filling image States. For example, insert a rectangle with filling in States and image, set the image for the rollover State and opacity for normal state with any color.

  Mouse pointer to create a similar effect, you can also create two versions of same image using any image editor, use a colorless in a State other than the one with the color as the normal state.

  A preset in the develop module will define the preset values, they are not additive. The saturation level of blue-15 is an exact value that will be applied if it is what is in the preset. If you have a group of images which need this adjustment also highlight these images and turn automatic synchronization and manually adjust. You can also create other presets with settings different blue saturation.

  Develop adjustments made in the quick settings in the library module are related, but you are limited to the adjustments that can be made. And color setting you are looking for are not available in this mode.
