  • Network.protocol - handler.external.mailto: False

  If change preference mailto in the dialog box Options did not solve this problem automatically, you can pass it as follows:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the mailto and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) double click the preference Network.protocol - handler.external.mailto to put it back true, or right click > reset.

• Cannot install add-ons for Firefox for Android

  I have some add-ons installed. However, lately, when I try to install an add-on for Firefox for Android, I get an error message indicating that I have to install Firefox first.

  Only, I use Firefox on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and would like to install more modules. Is there a setting that might make it appear the error message?

  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Looking through the massive amounts of Add-ons is a bit annoying. I always want to know how big the app is and how a memory trail I will get. I now have to download the application for size and then the search engine application to see if it is a heavy memory drag. Today, I tried a screenshot of Firefox Add-on. The first was 2.4 mb the second was 414 KB, it's a big difference. Then after searching memory, I found problems.

  Thank you for your question, I understand that you ask if there is an extension or installation required to support Instant Messaging in Firefox. No it's not. However, it is possible that something might be blocked.

  • You use a proxy for your internet browsing? If Yes check if IM is blocked here as well.
