'Add to playlist' addition of bad songs

I am running iTunes 12.3.2.35 (says that iTunes is the latest version) on Windows 10.  I imported a few tens of my CD.  All music works as expected with respect to the addition of individual songs to a playlist, with the exception of a single album.

When I downloaded the album from the Talking Heads ' Stop Making Sense, "songs imported with the title of the album" Stop Making Sense: Special Edition [Live] "and have been listed as 'Alternative'."  But when I add the pieces to the same playlist, I added more songs to (successfully), I get rather different, and these versions versions added to my library with the icon cloud indicating that I can upload them.

The songs "Heaven", "thank you for sending Me An Angel", "found a job", "Burning Down The House", "Making Flippy Floppy", "swamp", "once In A Lifetime", "Take Me To The River" and "Crosseyed and painless" all added as coming from an album titled "Stop Making Sense (special edition) [Live]" (note the lack of a colon and parentheses added).  They are listed in the 'Rock' instead of 'Alternative' genre, and they all "(live)" on the end of the song titles.  Yet once, they are automatically added as separate in my library, and songs are those added to my playlist.

The song "What A day as a summer" is added from the same album titled differently, but with "(live edit)" added the title of the song. "

Where it gets really weird, what with the following songs:

'Psycho Killer' is added from the album "CBGB (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) [Deluxe Edition]" in kind "Soundtrack.  This version is shorter than the one that I own 4 seconds.

"Slippery People" is added after the album "Speaking In Tongues" in the genre of "Pop".  It is 01:06 longer and is the studio version instead of the live version from Stop Making Sense.

"Life During Wartime" and "best friend" added end of the album 'The Best of Talking Heads' and are also versions of studio with different lengths.

"This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)" is added after the album "Speaking In Tongues (Deluxe Version)" and is also the studio version (and a different length).

I don't own the soundtrack at CBGB.  I don't own any version of "Speaking in tongues."  And I do not have 'The Best of Talking Heads'.  I have not bought these individual songs on iTunes.  Why it gives me these versions of these songs when I do not have?

Finally, "Genius Of Love" (performed by Tom Tom Club on Stop Making Sense) is added to my playlist of the studio album 'Tom Tom Club' such as recorded by Tom Tom Club, owned by me.

Weirder still, if I add one of the songs several times, the same incorrect version is added to my list of reading and my library several times, warning me that I add duplicate to the playlist songs.

So why is iTunes refusing to add these specific songs for specific CD I imported to my playlist and rather adding replacements is not necessarily the same as the time my playlist and my library, for free?

I guess you have music Apple or iTunes game. The two services to attempt to match what's in your library with what is in the iTunes Store. When they get it wrong, it can be difficult to store.

  • How can I reset Windows Media Player to use songs on my external backup drive instead or in addition to the songs on my desktop with Windows Vista Edition basic hard drive family?

How can I reset the Player Windows Media in Windows Vista Home Basic to use the songs on my external backup drive instead of (or in addition to) the songs on my desktop hard drive?  Currently, the Media Player library indicates that the hard drive (C:\) is my only option of disks to use for sources of songs.

Basically, I want to have Media Player external drive for all the songs from research and build his library on this disc instead of on the C:\ drive.
My problem is that the songs are hogging too much space on my hard drive, so I want to move to my external drive to backup instead, but Media Player will not access it.  I saw an option in Media Player to add a song to a different drive to the library whenever I play a song of this player, but that would require me to play all the songs moved one at a time, which is not practical, and which would not solve my problem because Media Player could still be maintaining the library on my HDD to say.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you.

How to add and enable additional languages in Windows 7

Install or change a display language

You can change the language Windows uses to display text in wizards, dialog boxes, menus and other elements in the user interface. Some display languages are installed by default, while others require you to install additional language files.

Before you can install a display language, you need to access the language files. These files are on your computer, a computer in your network or your Windows DVD. They can also be downloaded from the web. For more information, see how to make additional display languages?

    To install a display language
To install a Language Pack (LIP), double-click the file to open the installer. To install a Pack of MUI (MUI), follow these steps:

Click to open region and language.

Click the keyboards and languages tab.

Under display language, click install/uninstall languages, and then follow the steps.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    Note
The display language section will only be visible if you have already installed a LIP or if your version of Windows supports an MUI. MUIs are available in Windows 7 ultimate and Windows 7 Enterprise.

    To change your display language
When you change the display language, the text in menus and dialogs for some programs may not be in the language you want. This happens because the program does not support Unicode. For more information about changing the text in menus and dialog boxes for programs that do not support Unicode, see change the settings system locale.

If you want to set the display language for multiple users or for the home screen, see apply regional and language to reserved accounts settings.

Click to open region and language.

Click the keyboards and languages tab.

Under display language, select a language in the list, and then click OK.

    Note
If you do not see the list of display languages, you must install additional language files.

You CAN open the file *.wpl with a text editor. You can (or cannot) be successful
by making a change to the paths you will find in these files.

  • How to add a few seconds delay between songs on a playlist

How can I add a few seconds between songs on my playlist without a crossfade iPod? I have an iPod nano 16 GB. Looking to add about 10 to 12 seconds or more.

There is no setting on the iPod to add the silence between tracks.  You will need to add a "silent song" between your actual songs on the playlist, which is "10-12 seconds' silence.  This looks like a place to get some, to the desired length.

My tab MyMusic says I have 12 200 songs - and when I choose a device to synchronize, it's the number that indicates in the Sync Music tab.

    Hi TheLudd,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

I understand you are trying to synchronize your entire library of music to your iPhone, but after synchronization, there are many songs on your iPhone that are grayed out and not play. We know that synchronization problems can be frustrating, but we are here to help.

Until we start troubleshooting, I would make sure that all your content purchased on iTunes is in your iTunes library. Use the following article to make sure that all of your past purchases have been downloaded.

Download your purchases past - Apple Support

To begin, I would like check you to spot some of the music in the iTunes library on your computer. Find a few songs in gray on your iPhone and try to play them in iTunes. Is this music that was purchased at iTunes or added to your iTunes library from a CD or other source? If the music that is not synchronized was added from one source other than iTunes, make sure that music is able to be played in iTunes. If she won't play in iTunes, follow the instructions in the next section to correct the situation.

If your music is missing from iTunes - Apple Support

Once all your music in your iTunes library and play as expected, we will begin to solve the problem of the sync.

To begin troubleshooting, I suggest you remove all the music from your iPhone with iTunes. This will give us a blank slate to work with, then we can synchronize your content on your cool iPod back.

    1. connect your iPhone to iTunes and select

    2. Select music under settings on the left side of iTunes

3 remove the music sync control (you will get a warning that all music will be deleted. You agree to proceed)

    4. Select apply to apply changes at the bottom right of iTunes

    5. once the synchronization is complete, check on your iPod, that all music has been removed

Once all the music has been removed from the iPhone, we're going to go back in the synchronization process to move your music and playlists back unit.

    1. you are probably still on the pane music in iTunes, but if not, follow the previous steps 1-2 in the instructions to return

    2. check the box next to Sync music and make your choice for the music and playlists you would like to add to your iPod

  • iOS 10 playlist shuffle cutting end songs?

After that a number of loading songs organized in playlists, I'm having a problem where when I mix a playlist, it cuts the ends of songs.  Observations and trials so far leads me to believe that this is only related to the brewing of playlists.  I also see that the display of the song on the lock screen not display correctly when dragging a playlist. A song ends, the next one will start, but what is showing on the screen is the previous song. For anywhere from 30 to 45 seconds. Then the next song will appear on the screen, and the progress bar is already in the 'good' place.

    • Played start of album to not finish - no problem
    • Played same album Shuffle - no problem
    • Played Playlist containing same album departure for end - no problem
    • Played the same Playlist on shuffle - cuts of songs, lock screen messed up, etc.

Even the tests loading songs and playlist in iTunes, then a few iTunes songs and playlist construction on my phone.

    iPhone 6, IOS 10.0.2, iTunes

You found a solution for this? Apple is working on it?

I don't really like iOS 10.  It took me a week just to make my downloaded music can be used again.
