Playlist proves the current song?

I use iTunes 12.4 on an iMac, retina 10.11.5 OS.

I just create a new playlist with 3000 + jazz songs. I want to remove more slow songs, I have do as they appear during random playback. However, I can not only how to show the playlist (that is to say, scroll to) the current song. Otherwise, in order to remove the current song, I resorted to manually scroll through the list of reading (org'd by artist) to find the song.

Also, the menu drop down the miniplayer offer "Delete", but by selecting which produces a window that does not have the usual option "Delete from playlist? ...

Does anyone know a faster way?

Thank you in advance,

William

Hello

Cmd + L takes you to the current song. See also menu > control > go to the current song.

  • iTunes command-L shows the current song and selects the entire library

I am running iTunes on OS 10.10.5 12.4.1.6.  command-L takes me to the current song, but select the entire library to play the next song.  In other words, if I chose a genre, artist or album to play and I command-L to see the current song, iTunes deselects the genre, artist or album and selects rather my entire library to play the next song.  command-L did not work that way - the genre, artist or album has been selected and the next song played would continue to be of the type selected, artist or album.

Someone has a solution for this, or is this a bug in iTunes 12.x.x?

    Hello jjnorris,

Thanks for this info. I know that having the command-L keyboard shortcut doesn't work only in iTunes isn't the Apple experience you expect. Command-L should show the currently playing song in the list according to shortcuts - using iTunes Web site.

After testing, I wasn't able to reproduce your problem in the same version as yours. The next step would be to re - install iTunes for this refining: OS X Yosemite: reinstall the applications that came with your Mac

First things first... This isn't a pod... This is the induration world ipod makes its way into your every day language.

Regarding duplicates. He doesn't have to put the song on more than 1 time. However, that's the rub. If I put a song on my memory internal and then synchronize a playlist with this song in the internal memory, that his perfect WMP said already on the device. However if I sync the same playlist of the external card it syncs the song once again. As long as you keep playlists on the internal card, you should be ok!

  • Some of the songs keep deleting playlists during the synchronization

Hi, I have a 2010 MacBook Pro running the latest OS and the latest version of iTunes and the iPhone OS. Whenever I make a playlist on a device, 5 or 6 individual songs to delete playlist. It's always the same songs. Anyone have any ideas?

    Hello danbigmacmeal!

I would definitely these songs able to stay within a playlist I have.  It is nice to receive these settings so.  We can check things with you.

If you haven't done so already, go ahead with the abandonment of the iTunes on Mac and music on the iPhone app.  iTunes > quit iTunes and the forcing an app forclose on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then restart the iPhone and MacBook Pro, please.   > restart on Mac and restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

Once this is done, we will try to add these songs playlist.  If they are always remove themselves, try clicking or tapping on each of the songs to see if they play normally on each device and let us know.

  • My playlists on apple music continues to repeat the first progress song and custom to the next song

My playlists on apple music continues to repeat the first progress song and custom to the next song

    Hi, tabby1008!

Thanks a lot for the use of Community Support from Apple! After reading your post, I understand that when you listen to music from Apple, one song keeps repeating instead of skip to the next track, when it finishes. I wouldn't listen to the same song over and over again when Apple's music catalog is so big, so I'm happy to help you!

First of all, check that the "repeat" feature is not enabled. The following article gives some information about the feature 'repeat' and what to look for.

Use of music music Apple in the app

The "Shuffle and repeat your music" section provides this information:

    Shuffle or repeat your music

Press on at the bottom of the playback screen to mix songs in a playlist or album. Alternatively, you can ask Siri to scramble your music.

Type once to play entire playlist or album looped or twice to repeat a song.

When activated, the icon for a repetition will be "BOLD". If this is the case, type just the icon to activate the recurrence at the wide. The next page of this article will show you where these buttons:

If the repeat function is turned off, try closing the music app using the steps described in the article below.

Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Once the music app is closed, press the icon to open it again and then try to play your songs. If one is always repeat, restart the device. Instructions on the way can be found in the following article.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    Good listening!

  • Play a playlist or album adds the first song 20 times and none of the others

I have an iPhone 6 and you have a subscription to the music of Apple and iTunes Match (had one before the subscription of Apple's music). When I try to play an album or a playlist, the first song from the album or playlist will play 20 times, but none of the others. This also will show the list of "to - go".

I have the latest version of installed iOS (9.3.2). I already rebooted my phone, but the problem persists.

You probably accidentally hit the icon repeat at the bottom of the expansion, now playing screen.  It is very easy to "Repeat 1", in which case it will be play the same song over and over again.  I did this more than once myself.

    See you soon,.

You can change the appearance of a selection by clicking on "reading list" in the upper right of the iTunes window. The desired view is probably "tracks"

  • Why my playlist stop playing after the first song

I am puzzled, there seems to be a new paradigm for iTunes the 10.11 and iTunes 12.3.2.35

I create a playlist and the reading list I created in the previous version are there on the left panel and play in order, now when I create a playlist it is a big screen in the center of the screen that displays the songs in the playlist: but the songs not auto play and once that I get the first to play the rest aren't!

I advise to another Member of the community to select the playlist with CTRL-click on the left pane where they gave me several selections which

copy play stopped, I did it, went to the top of the window and press the play icon, no game, selected in the window CTRL-click game, still not play, then click on the first song in the list of SINATRA CHRISTMAS, would be playing the song but the rest of them did not.

    1. How can I get packed playlists to play

    2. how I created playlists to play in order

    3. What's all this 'up' - following.

Please help, I have a sharp mind for a 68 year old, but it's disconcerting.

There is a follow-up, I discovered by hunt a peck, but for the life of me I don't understand the thought process of the WORKS of this THING of PLAYLIST.

Once you do, you must always select each song in the list of what we call next door, or add to a maximum, then then you have 9 songs at the top: who come from A DIFFERENT PLAYLIST.

Community of good luck, and if anyone, anyone has a simple process step by step, PLEASE send me the link or even a list of home made I can print to study.

  • iTunes does not stop after playing the last song on the playlist

It was that iTunes has stopped playing after the last song in a playlist.

    I really liked it.

Now, he travels the playlist, starting with the first song, after the last song is played.

How can I disable this sort of iTunes for the iPhone goes back to stop playing after the last song?

I can't see any preferences panel.

You must disable the repetition. The only place to do it is on the "Now Playing" screen (view great work of the song).  Downstairs there are two arrows of recirculation, tap those until their origin is so more gray... he alternates song to repeat, repeat list, OFF.  Certainly, it is a horrible UI decision...

  • How can I get Media Player 12 remember the last song I listened in a playlist?

I've recently upgraded to a new computer with Windows 7 and Media Player 12 - the last computer I've had has Win XP and I forced to return to Media Player 9, because I liked this much better version.  Back on version 9, when I closed it after listening to a playlist, it remember where I stopped, so when I started to listen to this playlist again, he would start the next song on the list, instead of all the way back at the beginning.  I've looked through the menus and help files and I can't find the place where to have Media Player 12 talk about also - help?

    Thank you.

I clicked on this link and it does not work.  I search for this patch on bing, however, and was able to find, and it does exactly what I wanted to do.  Thank you for your help :)

  • Get rid of the old songs on my iphone

I recently bought a new car, and I play my music via my iPhone.  But recently, I noticed that my phone plays old songs that I deleted a long time ago.  How to remove these songs.  These songs are not on my current IPhone.

    Thank you!

It can show the titles that have been saved in the cloud.

In the music on your iPhone, in 'My Music' or 'Playlists', under the big top "Recently added" section you should see "Artists" or "My Playlists", click here. Here, there is an option to display 'only downloaded Music. If it is set to off then you will see only the titles physically on your device.

  • Copy playlists on the iPod computer

I have an old 160Gb iPod Classic.  We bought a new computer and I downloaded my files from the old computer to the new iTunes music using an external hard drive, and Apple has proposed the method of transfer of music files.  It worked fine except that none of my Playlists transferred across to the new computer.  I would try to transfer my Playlists from my iPod to the new computer.  Is this possible and how do I do it?

It would be preferable to transfer your iTunes library full (not only your music files) from your old computer to your new computer.  Then you will have everything (including playlists, notes of the song, play account, date added, etc.), because it's the SAME iTunes library on the new computer (not a new iTunes library with your old music files).  I don't know what 'suggested method' has been used, but it's the current method that allows to get the desired result

Manage and backup your iTunes media library - Apple Support

To summarize, first collect you ("consolidate") all your iTunes data in your folder iTunes , which is located in your folder music user account.  Then, copy the folder iTunes on an external drive, to create your backup.  On the new computer (with iTunes not running), copy that backup the folder iTunes to replace the folder (empty) existing iTunes .  iTunes then uses your data from the old computer's iTunes, and everything is there.

iPods are not designed to be your data from iTunes backup.
