Add webcam to 14.1 widescreen T61?

We have a T61 14.1 in our office that we would add a webcam also. We could buy the framework inside which the camera, and we could he install ourselves?

Someone at - it a reference number and a phone number where to order?

Thank you!

See here (it is possible), but then see here (maybe not).  I would buy an external webcam.

  • ThinkPad T400 screen broken

It is a CCFL Backlight, which is easier to find than a LED backlight. A panel of a T400, R400 14.1 "or 14.1" widescreen T61/R61 will fit. With T400/R400, you must be sure to get one with a CCFL Backlight. You can use a (1280 X 800) WXGA or WXGA + (1440 X 900) display.

  • Dead 2623d8u t60p do what model of motherboard, I need?

Hello, I have a T60P 2623d8u with video firegl 5200 and 4 GB of ram. It was an impressive machine, but it crapped finally out. He would not light up when it is plugged in, when the battery is removed or added just quite dead etc. I tried to push the thing of frankenstart power button to eliminate the static energy, but it was a no go. I checked the voltage adapter, as well as the relocation of memory, hard drive, battery cmos etc. nothing worked.

I was happy with it for a long time and would like to just replace the motherboard. What motherboard model number needs and it is expandable somehow?

    Thank you!

    Welcome to the forum!

Sorry to hear about your T60p.

The only 'upgrade' in the conventional sense of the term would be a motherboard with graphics card V5250 leave a model later T60p.

However, you can install a plan of 14 "(4:3 non-widescreen) T61/p that would use 8 GB of RAM and more modern CPU."

It is much simpler to just buy a 14 '' T61/p and keep other parts unit, but that's just my opinion.

    Good luck.

For 2 years, I used the built in camera 1.3, somehow suddenly dissappeared and when I click on says it is not installed, I don't want to go into a repair shop because they charge you too much money. Please help, thanks. my pc is windows 7.

Original title: built in webcam 1.3

    Hi, Nancy,.

Control Panel > add a device

Windows will search for devices connected to your system, but not installed. Click on the name of the webcam which shows in the search box and then click "next".

Choose whether you want Windows to search for the device driver webcam using Windows Update on the Internet, or if you prefer research of Device Manager to the driver using a disc provided by the manufacturer of your laptop. Most of the drivers are on the system recovery disk included with your laptop, if you choose to add the driver from the disk. Check the box of your choice, then click on "next >" to continue.

Wait while Windows searches from the driver using Windows Update, if that is your choice. There's an active Internet connection for Windows to do successfully. Allow the computer to install the driver and then restart the system for the webcam to be recognized by the system.

Otherwise, you can use the system recovery disk or a driver downloaded directly from the manufacturer of your laptop to install the driver without using search Windows Update.

Open the CD/DVD-ROM drive and insert the disc of recovery system or place the driver downloaded from the manufacturer in a directory of files easily accessible on your PC, or on the desktop, or in your 'My Documents' folder.

Choose the option 'install the software automatically (recommended)' into the application 'Add a device', then press on "Next >" to start looking for your webcam driver. The Hardware Wizard will search the system recovery disk and automatically installs the driver. Press 'Finish' to close the wizard, and then restart the computer to allow the recognition of the webcam. Choose the option "Install the software manually" in order to access the location of the driver where you saved the driver and install it from there. Use the open file manager and search for the driver. Click on the ' next > ' button to install the driver, and then restart the computer to add webcam functionality. -ehow.com

  • On 420 versus T61 14 "widescreen display size? (Is the 520 more like my old t61?)

I had a Thinkpad T61 14 "widescreen notebook for about 4 years. I really liked, and the size of the computer was ideal for me - small enough that I can use it on a plane, but a fairly big screen that I don't feel too cramped.

The t61 began to die, so I thought it seemed like a good time to replace it with a new thinkpad. I ordered a T420, happened today.

I was really surprised and disappointed to see that while the machine itself seems to be of similar size, the screen seems to be a little less good: about the same width, but between 1/2 and 3/4 inches less height. I foolishly thought that this laptop would have the same size as my old screen.

Is it a modification of the design of the older systems?

I'm curious: is there a model that is more comparable to the dimensions of my old T61? Is the 520 more close to these dimensions? Or is it a computer physically more grand/more heavy than a 14 "T61? I would rather not a computer who is heaver than my old T61, and I prefer not to have a computer that is more difficult to exploit in a tray of aircraft seats.

    Suggestions appreciated!

screen went from 4:3,-> 16:10-> 16:9, so there is a change of dimension of the T61 on the T420.

T520 is a laptop 15.6-inch similar to T61 15.4-inch wide screen, but it loses also a few height due to the change in dimension.

T420 is heavier then the T61. If you want something lighter than the GET T61 the T420s, which is a model thin and only weighs 2 kg or there is everything.

  • Live webcam Office 1.5 Add-in get a 6 b 2 error code

I use windows vista, service pack 2, 32-bit system

    Hello

    ·         Exactly how you try to install the update? Is it through Windows Update or manually?

This problem may occur if the previous version of Office Live Add-in is installed, such as Office Live Add-in 1.4. For now, I suggest using Microsoft Fixit listed in the article to delete the old Office Live Add-in from the computer and then try to reinstall Office Live Add-in 1.5.

You can run the fixit mentioned in the article.

  • Adobe Reader XI Mac how to add a real signature with webcam

I would like to add my real signature, I use the webcam to a piece of paper.

When I click on the signature place it gives me options for digital signatures of ID.  How can I get the webcam to take a picture of my signature?

She asked first for the rectangle of placement.  Another pop up then asks me to choose which one I want to use.  I tried to create a new, but that only takes me to another page where I enter my info.    I tried several options, including:

Pop - up window Add Digital ID;  Click on my existing digital ID a device connected to this computer and it says that Adobe could not find anything.

Tried all sorts of options but does not open the webcam option on the previous version.  Help, please.

    Thank you.

  • When I click on the webcam, it says device is not found. It's in my add/remove section.

My webcam showed a screen black when I would try to use it (it is integrated).  So I checked some forums and finally neutralizing him and he now has disappeard.  I have the icon, but it is said that there is no device.  It appears in my Add/Remove.  I uninstalled and installed several times.  I tried to fix it.  According to me, Miss me a pilot of the image.  Nothing installs successfully.

I fixed it!  I removed it and this morning the computer is an update of the driver and the webcam is back and now it works!  Solution: Remove it from the system.  The update of the driver should add again and it will work.

  • Is it possible to add the webcam integrated after purchase on G62X?

A friend ordered a G62X with my help.  Instisted his daughter was going to go out and get a HD webcam nic while he didn't need one, I asked more than once, "are you" sure  Now they wonder how to turn it on.  I told ther is none, he thought that the webcam option was external. Ouch.

    Then...

    (1) not to add after the fact and keep the warranty?

    (2) any REB a nice laptop webcam that is discreet and easy to manage?

    (1) no. This completely preventable if the laptop has been customized as G62x series can be customized to add a webcam while placing the order directly from HP.

    (2) if the laptop is in different places or if its used to move then its quite obvious that any webcam bought would be comfortable while using else if used in a fixed location, try to see any good logitech webcams or HP itself

If this laptop is very new, try to check if it can be returned and replaced with even one with a webcam or any other similar model with a webcam on the laptop option. My suggestion would be if you really want to be discreet and easy to use; built-in webcam would be privileged on a laptop.

  • Muse has plans to add widgets 'cat' and 'webcam '?

Widgets to do with cats live so that visitors who visit the site Web will be able to discuss will be real useful.

Vikas is correct, we are not developing a widget to chat or webcam, but today it is possible to "extend" HTML Embed (possibly) add such a widget to Adobe Muse.

If you happen to have a talent for the code (HTML, CSS, XML) and are interested in developing such an extension to Muse it please check format extensibility Muse Widget varied just announced, located at https://github.com/Adobe-Muse.

To see some of these types of embed code in the action widgets find presentations from the community of Muse on the Adobe Exchange Muse site that are built by using the .mucow format, here: http://muse.adobe.com/exchange#widget
