added to the family sharing with strangers
I received a notification on my iPhone that I had been added to the family sharing and just assumed that it was an announcement of a new feature of Apple. Shortly after, I received a notification that a name I didn't recognize left my family. I went into my settings and saw that I was on a list with a few people at random. I left the band and changed my password to iCloud. No idea how it happened, or if I need to worry about what anyone?
Welcome to the Apple community.
Unless you accept an invitation to join the family sharing, the administrator had to know your password for to add you themselves. If that's what happened, and you don't really know these people, then you must immediately change your password.
Of course, it is possible that someone invited you by mistake.

How can I implement the family sharing with separate billing?
I want to implement sharing of the family, but would prefer that the purchases made by the members of the family have been charged to their own methods of payment rather than mine (as a family organiser).
When family members purchases will be deducted from the balance (if they have a), or taken from map of the organiser (if they do not have a balance or if it does not cover the purchase, in which case the excess will be charged at map of the Organizer), a member may not use their card for purchases (and any balance on the account of the Organizer cannot be used).

Hi, my son got a new second hand phone. try to get him on the family sharing so he can listen to the music, but whenever he's trying to do a song, his view as a purchase. his name is included, but it has version 7. We have updated the phone on itunes and its not updated it to ios8 one had success with this?
Thank you
Hello evechoccy!
Thanks for reaching out on the share of the family option does not arise with the iPhone of your son 4.
The reason for this is the iPhone 4 can only go to iOS 7 and sharing of the family did not become an option until iOS 8 and later versions. You can see the family sharing requirements here: family shares - Apple Support
Kind regards.

How can I exchange a voucher of iTunes via the family sharing
How can I exchange a good of iTunes via the family sharing my account of girls
Flinton,
Connect to the iTunes account you want - either yours or your daughter - and redeem the gift card link Exchange located at the top right of the home page of the iTunes Store.
When you buy, the amount will be added as this account store. Note that the credit will be usable by the person on the account. If you put it on your account, it will not be usable for the purchase of your daughter.

my daughter has every music we want to pass the family sharing the will she lose her purchases
my daughter has every music we want to pass the family sharing the will she lose her purchases
Mvangordon,
She will be able to keep all purchases on his account. See this document:
Note that "all eligible songs, albums, movies, TV shows, books and applications already bought by members of the family are immediately available for everyone in the family."
In the future if she leaves the group sharing of the family, she is no longer able to share purchases, but she will always keep its own.

Extremely confused by the family sharing
I'm trying to set up a family music subscription and it was extremely unpleasant and difficult. I have music works on my iPhone (organizer), but on my child iPad mini, when I pull up the music, he doesn't seem to have a subscription (request 3 month trial). I've been going in circles for a few hours now trying to figure out what I did wrong - I have set up a group family, turned on sharing, etc..
My question is this: when I open the family member in icloud on his iPad, under purchases families, this account must be of the organizer or the Member of the family.
Should I be signed in his iTunes on the iPad? I found the idea of the family sharing that each could have their own accounts and purchases and subscriptions could be shared.

How can I see history in-app purchase for members of the family sharing?
I use the sharing of family and try to view the purchase history of my family members. I know that I can tap into "updates" and discover complete an individual family members buying it in the App Store (on my phone). But I don't see a way of watching the in-app purchases made by these people. App iTunes on my computer, the purchase history displays only purchases made by my personal Apple ID.
How can I view the purchase history WHOLE (including in-app purchases) for members of the family share?
You can see total buying an iTunes via the computer iTunes account: see your purchase history in iTunes on Mac or PC - Apple Support store
You can also view past purchases for 90 days by http://reportaproblem.apple.com
(What shows in the updates is not necessarily a complete list of bought/downloaded apps - applications that have been removed from the store will not show, more than apps that the person has hidden from the cloud not show incompatible applications.)

I can't get the family sharing to work properly
I want my daughter to be able to see the items I purchased. Audit on my iPAD, family sharing is set up and its ID is. I can even see applications that she bought on my iPAD. But on his Mac, I see no sign of my purchases (music or TV shows). Running his Mac OSX 10.9.5. Its iTunes shows no sign of my apple ID - for example it is supposed to be a drop-down menu beside the words BOUGHT on the upper left side of the various windows you get in ITunes by selecting purchased. There is no drop-down list.
I have tried all the usual suggestions by logging on iTunes and iClod and then again (using his AppleID), restart the computer, etc.. But his iTunes seems to still know nothing about the fact that she is in a family.
I was going to buy a TV series about ITunes, but if she has xcannot see it I don't want. Why Apple made things so difficult!
An additional piece of info. I just hand on my iPhone of girls. Looking at the app Store of Itunes, I can see my purchasies. So family sharing was set up fine, it's just the Mac iTunes who can't seem to see. Unfortunately, this is used to view movies etc., not the iPhone!

I could not prompt the third member of the family sharing...
I had already invited two members of our family and use shares without facing any problem.
But I could not invited the third member with an active apple ID.
We (organizer and invited) the two checked the settings (on the same iTunes Store Country info, active id etc.) but no action has occurred in the system preferences > iCloud > manage family > invite new members through the '+' sign > enter id Apple of the Member
(I forgot to transfer the image from that window, although it is within the rules and limits)
Please can someone help me...?
Invitation can pass after a while.

Remove the Member from the pool shared with 3 members EqualLogic
Hello
I think that my last post was not able to download.
How can I remove an EQL Member that went wrong in the shared pool?
EQL all run raid6 and there is enough free storage to remove the bad device.
(Bad) PS4000, PS4100 and PS6000
Hello
Is the table online or the poster in offline mode in the GUI? If online, you can use the delete member option in the GUI. This will move the data to the other members.
What is the problem with the PS4000?
Kind regards

Can't see the apps in the sharing of the family
Hi all:
My daughter got her first iPhone yesterday! It's a 5 s, iOS running (for the moment) 8.3. In anticipation of this gift, a few months ago I put in place the family sharing with her. At the time where she could use it only on his MacBook, Yosemite, running, but it worked: she could access all my purchased music (dating from the opening of the iTunes Store), and we could see my apps, even if she had no reason to download.
So yesterday we were squared away with AT & T, and she went into the application App Store on the phone. We go to updates > purchases and we can see my account, under his own... but when we choose it the app shows no apps in the list: that there are no applications available. It doesn't have the same issue when using the app Store in iTunes: all my purchases are there, as expected. It's just the apps.
I though maybe this apps worked differently, only purchased apps after you set up the family sharing were available, but I don't think this is the case and in all cases family sharing was implemented a few months ago, and I got apps since then.
Any ideas what might be happening?
Thank you!
Goodness, I had posted just that, and all of a sudden, there were all my apps! So who sets: just post something here, and that's all it takes!
So, uh, whatever!

Sharing the family allows no more than one card associated with the account
When in the family sharing there not a way to link the two cards? One for each parent/guardian? Seems silly to charge only one card, when people still sometimes have separate bank accounts... is there a way around this?
That's how the family sharing is designed. Only one, the Organizer is responsible for all payments.
The only exception to this is if any family member has an iTunes gift card redeemed to their account, purchases Member makes is deducted from the gift card first, before using the organizers payment method.

Family sharing does not appear happy on the behalf of the child
I just tried to set up a family sharing. My son just got an ipod shuffle and I tried to put music on it for him. I created him Apple ID. I added it to the family sharing. When I go into iTunes on his Mac, I don't see the content available to download when I look into the purchase of iTunes section. I have tried to download a song that I knew I had. When I did that (his own), he said a family member had and it can be downloaded.
Why can't I see not the whole list of music available?
You see your account listed in the purchase section, you are able to select, and you have enabled on your account of sharing: share content with family sharing - purchased Apple Support ?
