I need help. I have windows 8, 64 bit computer laptop. This system has 3 active accounts now. Account_One that is my administrator account. I have another
"limited account" created on my machine Account_two and the third one is "Guest account" account that is enabled.
Before you lend my cell phone to a friend in Account_two login I tried to restrict access to drives C and D of this Account_two which is a limited account.
While I was doing it, I put approval for object 'Windows users' 'decline '. This object is usually the last in the list of objects on the window that appears when we sail to click with the right button on C drive > properties > Security. I realized that instead of
for Account_two I did for Windows users / which means maybe Windows/users / * which covered my admin account too and that too on the drive root C.
When I connected to my Account_one account that is an administrator account, I'm not able to access drive C and D where I put the authorization of 'decline' for all the attributes as shown above to object/Windows users.
One of the folder that was on my desktop allows me to go inside the d drive as I kept this shortcut for easy access, but there is no way to navigate from c or d ' training on domestic issues. Not just me even Windows can not access important services such as 'Restore' and many others built in utilities of windows which simply will not charge blinking message windows has no access to it!
Please help how to access drive C and D for my administrator account. I am connected to this account now, but can not access drive C or d. when I go to the Security tab in the drive C and D right click Properties I get the screen it as: you must have read allowed to view the properties of this object. Click Advanced to continue. When I click on advanced, I see the "advanced security settings for local disk (d :)), where the owner is presented as: unable to display current owner." After three days of effort I was finally able to fix this mess. It took me three days after going through many similar positions as mine but no final answer or fix, so I kept
through the 'access denied' messages on this community and won an idea on what
had happened and what needed to be done. What I found that there are several hundred people
like me, who have faced this problem and there is no final official help file to explain how to fix

in any case, here's how I solved my problem for people who need to fix it in case it happens to you.
How the problem began; Read my original post above on top. In short, I set the security setting to refuse to

How I fixed it.
Thanks to some nice people on this page of the community who have posted knowledge. However this only solved the problem partially as I could reverse the problem only on drive D and not on the drive C. Now if I needed the "Access denied" problem on drive C. I continued through messages of so many "access denied" here and discovered about utilities like SFC, TAKEOWN, ICACLS, but none of them worked from the command prompt I always said "access denied."
Thing was to take the mouse to the right of the screen and get this blue bar, then settings > change PC settings > General - Advanced startup-press the button -
. Then he made up the blue screen, where you have the option called troubleshooting... go there and then advanced setting > look to start Windows from the command prompt. I am an independent developer and absolutely need to install multiple operating systems on my * Satellite L300 - 16 M (PSLB0E) *: it is very important for me because I need to check the functioning of the software under each environment for real (not not using solutions like VMware, for example).

But it does not completely: the Win 2 K install begins... All the drivers are well charged (including the ones AHCI) and just after this stage of loading, I get a black screen with just a blink of an eye cursor at the top left of the screen... indefinitively :-(

So, what to do next?
I used the wrong AHCI drivers? Do I need to integrate as many drivers Toshiba (about chipset, display, sound) in the installation of Windows 2000 using nLite CD? I mean the capacity of the CD is not reached.

Zone Labs included this feature to make the product much more coldly, but they do not realize that we, the users, need these files as well.
The solution is simple. Simply navigate to the control program in ZoneAlarm (I use Pro). In the main tab, you should see the "Program Control" options. Below, there is a button "Custom". Click on that and go to the tab "OSFirewall" Alto! There are these turds. Left-click on the second column options will give the choice to leave. If you want to make sure that this unnecessary feature don't mean your settings again, I suggest you give all the permissions 'Allow' (notches).
NOTE: even if you disable 'Program Control' or OSFirewall, you need to activate OSFirewall and change the permissions. This is because permission settings will be always locked to those present. In big, even if you disable OSFirewall and have the "Install ActiveX" setting refuse, it is still in denial permission. Check the marks all the way.
If you still have problems, and you still feel that ZoneAlarm is the cause of the problems, I suggest you go tab 'Programs' from the control program. Here, you can view all the applications you have run your PC. Search for 'Macromedia' or 'Flash' of linked files and gives them all access to the internet and all the permissions. I have problems with the download of the microsoft/windows updates current. My computer is set to automatically download, but there was a series of 10 "major updates" that I've been prompted to manually download. However, I get a notice that my computer could not download 5 of these 'important' for vista security updates. Important security downloads carry reference numbers: KB956744 KB971557 and KB971657, KB973507, KB973540. What version of the operating system you are using (Windows Vista or XP)?
Please let us know if you see errors or the Windows Update window error codes.
Has nothing changed on your system just before that this problem has occurred - all new hardware devices installed? New software or updates installed?
If you can give us these answers we can help diagnose this problem.
Meanwhile, I have a few basic steps that you can follow first, we can try to put the computer in a clean boot state and then try to install the updates:
To do a clean boot, follow the steps below:
- Log the computer by using an account with administrator rights.
2. click on Start, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration Utility.If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click continue.
3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the Load Startup items check box. (The box use the Boot file is not available.)
4. on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft services check box, and then click disable all.
Note Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.
5. click OKand then click restart.
Once the computer restarts, try to install the updates. If you are not able to install, please check for error messages or error codes.
To restart the computer to a normal startup, follow these steps:

I would really appreciate if someone could provide a solution or any ideas where to start fixing this, as I get close to return to the previous backup full system, but reluctant to do so as I have never done it before so I'm worried if it really works as supposed (Macrium and Ping).

All users of Windows XP (SP3) restricted accounts open all of a sudden 'Map network drive' by clicking on the desktop and the "research" by clicking on any folder, including My Documents.
However, all accounts administrator work as before and also user accounts work like so usual, they are included in the Administrators group, with respect to the clicks of the workstation and records.

@=""It seems that I managed to solve the problem on my own. Did two things:
1 set the registry keys determine programs associated objects 'Répertoire', 'Drive' and 'File' to the default values by using the settings found here: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\2. If you want to have permissions for group 'Users' to read all these keys in the registry. For some reason any access worked only partly for standard users.
Not sure who finally solved this problem, but after I had finished 1. and 2. for the purpose of 'Record', by clicking on 'My computer' and any folder works normally for all users of the computer.
I suspect that some recent installation of program which adds actions associated with these objects messed up the registry. Suspects are Norton Antivirus and dbPowerAmp.

where can I get 10.9 and 10.10 for my mac so my last is 10.8.
I jumped OS X 10.9 and 10.10 on my system at home that I need a stable system during this release cycle and had no time to fix potential problems. If it's not broken, don't fix it! 10.11 wreaks havoc on my system to work and I had to go back to 10.7.
