Adding a transition to a Chroma Key

I have a person in front of the green screen video in my calendar. By this I attached a different background and applied Keyer and got the effect I wanted. I put a transition (fade to color) at the beginning of these two clips. When I have both not simultaneously start playback. It's starts it (top), green-screen a few seconds before the new background is introduced. I'm new to learning FCPX and guess I'm missing something. If anyone can understand what I mean I drink appreciate the help.

Thank you very much, Andy

  • Adding custom Transitions that include elements of color

Hello, I'm currently adding a transition that I established in sequelae. The transition was recorded with an alpha channel, but has a certain element that is in color that I would leave it isolated. I tried different keys and mattes, but I have finally hit the wall and can't find other ideas.

    Can someone please offer suggestions?

OK, it's easier in After Effects, but if you want to do first, here's a way to do it (Note: there are many ways to skin a cat and there may be a better way than that, but that's how I'd do).

First of all, you must jump in After Effects and make two new versions of your "Swirl".

Be the whirlpool as you have it now but the black area must also be transparent - you need the black box so that Matt will transport transparency it but also outside the blue and green zones:

    the checkerboard indicates the transparency.

And you need to make a version where just the area that is black is became white and the rest of the image is black:

We'll call him this mat cutter.

On the timeline of the body, place the outbound scene on V1, the incoming scene on V2 and overlap the duration of your animation:

I use color bars of the outbound scene with red color for the new.

The V3, place the clip with the mat cutter. Then pass the effects Panel > Video Effects > Keying > overlay cache track and apply the track matte for the video on V2.

When you open the controls for the Matt effect of track that you just applied, the value of the V3 matte. This should now cut the incoming scene.

Then place the whirlpool with the clip color in synchronization with animation on V3 to V4. She "will cover" the area around the area of cut on the track below and you should now have your effect.

You can see the result in the screenshot.

  • What happened to plain old "chroma key" in Premiere Pro?

Why the CHROMA KEY was removed from the update for Premiere Pro 2014?  It was essential for the removal of the quick-n-dirty green screen.  Now, I have to spend more time with key Ultra cleaning of shadows.

    He has started.

You also have the key to color (with fewer parameters to change)

  • question about Chroma Key

    Hi, I'm Andre.

This is my first time posting a question on this site. I use Adobe Premiere Pro 2 and I stop motion animation. In my video, I have

use a lot of greenscreen. I know how to apply the key filter chroma on a single image, but I

just has too many pictures and I was wondering if there is a way to apply chroma key filter to all individual photos at once, instead of me going to apply an overlay image by image after another. Thanks in advance!

Assuming all your screens green are approximately the same, you can copy the filter of the first for the other executives. Highlight the window effect 'control the effect', press control + c, highlight the target executives and press Ctrl + v. The problem will be if the green screens are too different.

    Hello

I entered video taken directly from the webcam entry, what I want to do is chroma entry and run it on another swf, but the problem is that I'm getting a white background after chroma keying. I read many articles on how to get it done by using bitmap/pixel.

but I'm just an interaction designer and very bad coding and stuff. It would be very useful if someone could the code me exact full source.

you can send me the complete source code to [email protected]

    Thank you

You can use the overlay threshold. Here's a decent example:

  • Excluding the part of a video of chroma keying

Quick question, if anyone can help!

I am seized on a background, but I want to use a partial mask to exclude some of the matching video to do. Example: the person on camera wearing a green bracelet, and I want to float a top mask to exclude it from the chroma key effect.

It is probably not so difficult; I just can't remember how to do it. I'm guessing it's something like a garbage mask?

    Thank you!

  • Chroma key-CS5-how can I find a 'how to' on the replacement of my background of chroma Green

Hello, I have a picture of a portrait studio model test and replace the background of chroma green I used with another image of the background. I would sincerely appreciate your help.

I have attached the test image. I know the green screen has some light wrinkles and I was also wondering if CS5 could still do without being perfectly smooth.

This is my first time using photoshop. I just bought cs5 and wanted to a few steps Basic or tutorial on how to do it as a new user.

Thanks a lot for your responses and suggestions,.

  • Tip for chroma keying.

    Hello

I'm on CS6.01 and I have a clip of greenscreen. I used the cache 16 points and the main filters croma to remome the green background.

There's still a few green spots dark because of my setup of a little bad lightning, even after the keyframes of the cache of transparency, is moved according to the movement of people.

If I turn the similarity higher, I start to get 'holes', which I don't want instead.

I was thingking if it would be possible to export this clip including the seizure as for example. UT/AVI with maximum renderquality, reeimport this clip and put another filter key chroma on the 'last' spots, which are quite similar in color, to make it disappear, or could I still drag this sequence in a new another sequence and add the new key chroma to it?

Thanks for all comments on this issue.

    / Ulf

Try to use the Ultra key instead of Chroma or color. You can select the different tones of green different several times and they all get matched. Not need a key, key, export, etc.

  • Followed by a space chroma key

    Hi all

I'm pretty new in the first world (and special effects), so I apologize if my question is stupid

I play now with the main functions chroma, and it works pretty well for simple stuff (change the background where I talk for example).

But y at - it a simple way (= without set a keyframe on every frame of my movie) to hold a small green square in my hands (I'm in front of the camera, so it is a real square 2D), then a video inside this square of inlay (according to a scale down of the key to fit the square box video) and then follow the movements of the square so that the key video move as well as the place?

My second question is the same question, but this time if I want to spend my square on the z axis (so there will be a 3D film to key translation)

    Thank you

But y at - it a simple way...

It is, if for example you have After Effects installed.

You can either follow motion right within the AE or with mocha, which is the standalone application included in EI.

See After Effects help section on tracking movement

See also these two tutorials subject tracking with Mocha (there are many of them in fact)

  • DSLR Chroma Keying? Basic question.

Hi, I use a Nikon DSLR (D3300) to shoot videos of the green screen and keying in After Effects / Keylight. So far, it looks great, but I heard that it's even better work around the card SD and direct key?

Is it possible to just tie my camera to the laptop and save my video to that instead of having this tablet on the SD card? But not sure.

    Thank you.

You're right: DSLR compresses the snot out of video, and you will get a key more beautiful if you can Dodge goes to the card.  But YOUR camera can go an external recorder?  I would ask the forum first Pro - these guys may have more experience with it.

Or you can ask the digital SLR Forum of the Creative COW: they would certainly be able to help.  It depends on the individual device if it is still possible.

Now, you CAN get an acceptable key using sequences DSLR.  But a really great touch?  Nope.

  • Chroma keying several tracks

Newbie here.  I need to shoot a video with a green screen, but the screen is not big enough to be a framework for action; There are still a lot of static game, I need key out.  I thought that I could add a track in the first, above the video clip, which painted on the game and set it to the same color as the green background, but this only keys off the extra track, revealing the video under.  I need to key through this clip, revealing the background of replacement on the lowest floor.  What I am doing wrong?  Is it even possible, or what will be hidden to be green filtered on the plateau in the original clip?  Thank you.

    You must watch the caches.
