  For all of you who were wondering the same thing, you select the item, and at the end, you should see two small buttons. Click on the one at the top and drag it backwards and it is the duration of the fade.

  You can also do it at the beginning of the clips as well

• How gang controls the effect of which clip is in the program monitor?

  My apologies if I get the wrong terminology, I use FCP7 most of my career. So, basically I want gang effect to any clip options my playhead is on in the timeline panel. This time, I double-click the item in the Assembly to access the specific effect controls. I hope that, as in FCP7, that I can make the effect control window to update the timeline moves.

  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Two hours of searching on Google got me nowhere! Thanks in advance!

  The hand icon drag the effect on the windows of the selected source, but does not diminish the effect on the clip. ?

• Images of some, but not all, corrupt after adding effects

  Hi all

  I have a 25-minute film, and when I add effect that some clips are corrupt - a few flicker with one sort of blue tint, others have another clip to come through it in some frames.  It's the same 5 staples that are corrupt everytime but I didn't something different to these clips compared to any other person as far as I can make out.   If I remove all the effects that I put on it the problem goes away, but when I reapply the effects the problem reappears.  I have Colorista and Mojo applied on all plans.  1 clips is played in revese and there are a few slight color changes.

  When you open images in encode I get the problem "could not load kPFColorParamSuite."

  I use windows 8 and Premiere Pro (fully updated) cc.

  Any ideas guys?

  I discovered that the Red Gaint Denoiser II was the cause of the problem.  I removed all the effects, the base form clips and worked them well!

• Copy and paste the effects of other clips

  Well I have exported my first sequence and am slowly working with audio in Audition without pulling my hair.  The biggest problem I have is the lack of ability to copy effects applied to an element and another cover several clips.  I thought that if it was possible at first it should e at the hearing, but unfortunately is not.  The best I can do is save a preset... which is the only option?  And can I ask a preset saved several clips?    More than anything I want to run normalize and reverberation effects to multiple clips at a time, but geez not being is not able to do that just makes me want to do it in the first and only modify a clip in hearing one at a time if absolutely necessary.    It seems that hearing has some characteristics it could really use until it is effective for production work.  In Protools, I can use alt + shift drag to copy other clips.

  I don't know if this will help the people but I was able to copy an audio EQ effect I had set as I wanted other clips of:

  1. left click once on the video clip that contains the audio effect that I applied to this audio track so that both audio and video tracks are highlighted.

  2. right click on audio (like EQ) effect with effect options

  3. left click copy

  4. then go to the video clip I want to copy to and left click once on the video clip, so it is highlighted

  5. then right click Paste edit

• How to delete presets for effects to a clip?

  I am learning the use of the official document for help from Adobe first Elements 8.

  I currently work in Chapter 10, 'Application of effects', section 'Work with the effect presets'-> 'apply a preset of effects '.

  The help document does not say how to remove a preset effect you had applied.

  I tried to follow the instructions to remove the usual effects, but they don't seem to work in the case of the predefined settings.

  How can I remove presets for effects to a clip?

  Suppose that I have applied several effects preset to a certain clip.

  Now I want to inspect which presets I applied.

  Can I do this? If we were talking about the effects rather than predefined effects, it could be accomplished easily, could not?

  Inspector (or deletion / to hide/change) the effects that have been applied to a particular item can be made easily in the properties panel.

  But I think that what you asked is that the same is possible for the effect presets.

  Well the answer is YES and NO, depending on the preconfiguration of effects that you applied and your understanding of the preset.

  Presets like - "PIP 40% YOUR Spin Out Top.

  Can I go to the properties panel and see any input related to it? Years - no.

  But can I still edit/delete-YES.

  Handly I know what/where to change?  -C' is that your understanding of the preset comes into play. Given that the name of the preset bed scale itimplies «PIP 40%...» ' has been reduced to 40%, HEART involves top-right and high SpinOut involves - values of position and rotation have beenkeyframed (animated). This means that you should just go to the motioneffect and change it.

  Another example - Presets > Contours beveled > bevel thick edges or Presets > color effects > Super dyed Green

  Can I go to the properties panel and see any input related to it? Years - YES, a bevelled edge effect can be seen in Panelfor the first preset properties and a "Tint" effect can be seen in the case of preset rates.

  In short, an entry for preseeding of applied effects explicitly appears in the Properties Panel - No.

  But I can understand and modify a preset of applied effects or is there a way implicit to differentiate the presets applied effects (> 1) - YES.

  Depends on your understanding of the preset.

  Itay, effect presets are a cutting-edge concept, and as become familiar you with Preworkflows, you would become little bit more uncomfortable change.

• Adding effect to multiple pictures - Director

  I would like to know if its possible to add an 'effect' to multiple pictures at the same time? And do not go to each image and select an effect for this specific image. I have about 900 pictures and I don't want to repeat myself 900 times...

  Thank you John, so it seems to work. I don't have 900 pictures in a movie, its broken up in about 7 films. So not too well.

  Now, select it all works and I can add the effect of these images. That will probably be a cause of stupid question, I don't think that this is possible. I was wondering if there is a way to select every second photo and adding 1 effect then select others, and then add another effect it. It's just, I don't want it to be boring with a single effect. But if I can only select all, then its cool too!

• Premiere Pro creates new after effects project sending clips to AE?

  When you create a new composition in After Effects to clips on the timeline, Premiere Pro works perfectly well. Send clips to a new composition, the same project After Effects. All is well and good. Until I got close After Effects or Premiere. Then, when that I raise, clips in After Effects in a new composition, Premiere Pro sent something strange. Even if I reopen the project I was working on, no matter what, Premiere Pro sent clips to a new project and not send them to the one currently open. Does anyone have any kind of reasons as to why?

  Just to clarify: when you continue to work, After Effects is open with the file to current project open AE and Premiere Pro is open with the file to current project plans open as well.  Then, when you choose "Replace with After Effects Composition" your Pro first sequence, the current project of AE closes and starts a new AE project.

  All of which is managed by dynamic link and clearly something is off.

  I got to one of two things:

  • Begin a conversation with Adobe support to check that everything is installed and configured correctly on your system.
  • Uninstall the two Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects and then reinstall them (something Adobe support would you anyway).

• How suspend you the effects in a clip? / Toggle their power

  I have to blur a license plate, that works very well, but the car goes and come back. So I want to use the same effect, but at different times of the clip.

  I simply cannot understand how to cut or enable/disable the blur effect.

  You don't have all the razor tool. With the clip selected, press CTRL + K on the keyboard. That will insert an a point of editing (split the clip) where is the playhead.

• Shutter repair effect to a clip of 20 sec of rotation leads to jerky and disruptive of the film reading in the window above. What I am doing wrong?

  I pulled the sliding effect of the shutter repair (50%) over a clip of 20 sec. Subsequently the

  replay of the element in the window gets very agitated and risk after 3 or 4 seconds.

  My PC is pretty well equipped with RAM. So, what can be the reason? Thx for the help.

• Is it possible to add a Master Clip effect in merged Clips?

  I am currently unable to add an effect to the main element of an element merged into first or Speedgrade.  At this point, I know I should have tested this, but it seemed to me that those audio video synchronization can also correct color clips too.

  Is it possible to return to the main item video for the use of the MCE?  If I'm back in the sequence by sequence of color setting (and copy of permeable).  I am wrong in assuming the merger of clips is more trouble that it's worth?

  At this point in time, MCE not affect clips merged coming from first. This is a known issue with Mac that we're working on.

  I have updated first Pro CC but when I put an effect on a video clip I don't see rectangular and elliptical mask options.

  I thought we could do a copy/paste effects and parameters of the effects of

  several clips selected at once, but I do not seem to make that choice.

  For this select the clips, right-click and choose Paste attributes.
