  To configure IMAP for your BlackBerry access, simply follow these steps:

  1. Enable IMAP in your Gmail settings.
  2. From your BlackBerry home screen, select the BlackBerry Configuration icon, and then choose Personal Email Set up. (On older devices, look for the Personal Email Setup icon.)
  3. Select personal email configuration.
  4. Agree to the terms and Conditions.
  5. On the page "Account Setup Email", enter your full email address (including the ' @gmail.com ' or ' @your_domain.com '), but leave the ' password: "field blank. Select Next.
  6. You will see a screen that says: "We don't have set up [[email protected]]." Select I'll give you the settings to add this email account, then Next.
  7. Select Internet Service Provider Email (POP/IMAP), then Next.
  8. Select I'll give you the settings to add this email account, then Next.
  9. You will see "The BlackBerry Internet Service could not configure [[email protected]] email address." Select the provide settings to continue.
  10. In the "user name:", enter your full email address (including the ' @gmail.com '). Google Apps users, enter your full email address at your domain. Then enter your password in the ' password: "field.
  11. In the ' mail server: "field, enter 'imap.gmail.com', then select Next. Google Apps users must enter the name of the server provided; do not add your domain name in this step.
  12. If IMAP access has been configured successfully, click OK.
  13. Below your newly added Gmail address, select Edit.
  14. Select Advanced settings at the bottom.
  15. Make sure that the port is set to ' 993' and 'Use SSL' is set to 'yes '.
  16. Select Save.

  It should now be a new icon in the box to the letters on your BlackBerry home screen labeled with your Gmail address. Once you see this icon, follow these steps to ensure proper setup:

  1. Open box icon.
  2. Open the menu by pressing the wheel or the BlackBerry menu button and select Options.
  3. Select email reconciliation.
  4. Check the following settings:
     • Delete on: mailbox & Pocket
     • Wireless reconcile: on
     • On conflicts: mailbox WINS
  5. Select Save.
  6. Check our customer recommended settingsand adjust the settings of your client as needed.

  I have gmail and it comes through my storm, no problem.

  Once you're connected, you can create/edit/delete emails from here.  You can also create e-mail filters (for example, gmail, no download of mail sent).

  The only reference I see to notifications for Gmail, speaks to the application, so I'd say it's the only way now.

  If you check the settings > mail, contacts, calendar > retrieve new data > Gmail... There is only Fetch and manual.

  When I try to save my pages / tabs, I can not, because this option is grayed out.   Thank you very much for your time and effort. It was not the solution, but I couldn't find a place to close the ticket/request. I discovered that I had pinned tabs, in doing so, it grayed out this option. Once I have this marking tabs, I was able to use the option ' use current Page/s. Thanks again for responding so quickly.

  lost some of my photos, found in the Local Settings\Temp\FromCamera with extensions such as .jpg_51_1342177376 with each image with a sequence of different digits following folder (ie the next expansion being .jpg_51_1342177378 picture going up by double digits.) I can get the first few photos in the folder to open by a right-click, open with. Windows Picture Veiwer, after a bit it begins to tell me that no preview is available. Any help would be appreciated, I really want to save these pictures if possible.

  Just a thought...

  If you copy / paste the files into a new folder on your desktop
  and then do a click right/rename the files, it can improve the problem.

  I'll try what you did... entirely delete the account of the BIS Gmail account.

  - Then on your BB, Options > Advanced > Service books. Remove ALL instances of your Gmail email account there.

  -With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  -Then add the Gmail account to your configuration of BIS. And click on send Service directories while you're there.

  I use Adobe Extension builder 3 in Eclipse to code and create the zxp for Premiere pro panel.

It creates an automatically mxi file with all the properties, I have to change the maximum version number of host in the mxi file to make the extension in the first pro CC 2014. Using the hybrid option in the Bundle manifest editor you can choose a set of folder paths to put the files during the installation itself and can be used later using "csInterface.getSystemPath (SystemPath.CODE)" of javascript functions to edit.

  I guess the problem is that when the application attempts to run on my device, the extension is not find application descriptor file.  Is there anything else I need to do?

  Here is the solution in case anyone else runs into this problem.  Flash Builder is to create the deployment at the launch, it converts the path mapped to a local path mutilated for donkey find the descriptor to a relative path, which can not be found and get the null pointer.  Making the path to output folder actually local to the computer, as opposed to the default which creates FB, solves the error and still lets blazeds access from the device.

  Hey,.

  Is it possible to make the development of Extension without Extension Builder? I am an independent developer who needs to create a tool within Flash to help an artist who works with me, as such, I think that the partnership program is an additional cost which is a little steep for the moment.

  I feel that it is possible to use the Flex and Flash builder itself to do without the added benefits of Extension Builder.  However, I feel that it really is a manual process and I am not sure how documented the process is. If someone has explored this? Any suggestions or pointers in the right direction would be great.

  Yes you can.

  A good starting point is the video by Maria Gutierrez in the CS SDK team blog.

  I am using for some time the SDK in Flash Builder, so I can assure you that it is possible to accomplish the task - however, given that I've got Extension Builder, there * much * easier to code, test and debug.

  Moreover, this documentation is good for you, even if you do not have Extension Builder.
