• Bug in display of the tree when adding nodes dynamically?

  I am building a tree dynamically, child nodes are added only after a user clicks to open a node, and a call is made to see if there are children.
  
  The control is very sensitive, but after a few clicks, that it is as if an object of the same color that the background appears in the middle of the control tree obscuring nodes beneath it.
  
  If I click on the empty area at the location where the darkened nodes would fall meet and expand/collapse becoming visible/invisible as they fall under this area or beyond. If I hover over the empty box I see the node highlighting as a strip about 5 pixels wide on the left side.
  
  Revalidation of the tree redraws not this area. Has anyone seen this before, and how can I fix it?

  The problem disappeared. I think it was a bug is triggered by setting the selected items after I had updated the dataProvider and refreshing the tree.

  I had another question where the selectedItems disappeared after update of the tree. I fixed it by setting using callLater() selectedItems, because put immediately after the update the dataProvider of the tree did not work as long as the selection was lost anyway. callLater to do this fixed the issue of the selection and now apparently also the issue with a section of the tree being overshadowed.

• Adding nodes to a bridge outside NOR-MAX

  I am currently invovled in a project that involves the use several gateways and nodes to monitor temperature, condition of equipment, etc.  The system will be implemented by people experienced in LabVIEW, but end users are not.  Is there a way to program the LabVIEW software or use other other than the NOT-MAX means by which end users can add a node themselves through the interface developed for them?

  Without the 9792 or LV 2010, there is no programmatic way to work.

  I did go ahead and establish a project that I put together showing how to proceed in 2010 with NOR-WSN 1.2 and a 9792.

• adding node fileshare to application

  If I'm editing an application and adding the fileshare pod.

  It seems that you need to log in as owner so he can work it's cool.

  Where I have a problem, I want to take this room update and apply the new settings to an application (and the rooms it is in)

  You must create a model of your room and then use this template when you create your real part (and if you have a premium account you should be able to create a paid app out of this model too).

  Unfortunately there is currently no way to apply a template to existing rooms, but if you do not "persistent" state you need to save in these rooms, you should be able to write a quick script that removes them and recreate them using the new model/application.

• Action Script to add a node value parent for the top node

  I need to add a new value of the node parent to a hierarchy to the top node.  The script parameters to add a node is "Add | Version | Hierarchy | Node | Parent Node. Property sheet.   You have the answer with you, do not be confused between the Parent node and the top node context, when adding a new node, the node of your Top will become your Parent node.

  If you're still confused, just do the following.

  1. right click on the node of your top and add a new worksheet or node branch manually

  2. Once added, go back to the homepage-> Script

  3. Select the Type of Source in the paper transactions, and then select the newly added node and load

  4. in the lower part select Script-> download-> Download Action Script.

  5. open in a Notepad and use to create your new script.

• Performance issues with large number of nodes

  I am creating an application to display graphics (large), for example:

  

  But I ran into some performance issues, even for a relatively small number of nodes in the scene graph (+-2000 in the picture above). The graph is built, step by step, adding circles and paths to a StackPane. Circles and paths can be semi-transparant. For a small number of nodes, I get a solid 60 FPS, but this decreases over time to about 5 frames per second. As soon as I stop adding new nodes, the framerate shoot again up to 60 images per second. The framerate drop even when all the nodes are outside the viewport.

  My questions are:

  * Is Platform.runLater () call to 2000 times a minute too?

  * This might just be a problem with my graphics card? (I have an Intel HD Graphics 3000)
  * JavaFX pulse recorder says such things, are there meaningful information in that I'm missing?

  Basically, try some optimization of performance ranging from the simple to the complex.   Each of the changes below may provide you with an increase in performance.  Some will probably increase performance much more that others (depending on where is the real bottleneck).  I would probably start by replace the paths to the lines and reduce the number of Platform.runLater calls (as adding nodes that fall within the viewport can be difficult only).

  Place the nodes in the graph, which fall inside the viewport.

  Yes, there is no reason to call it more than 60 times a minute when the framerate of JavaFX is capped at 60 frames per second by default.

  Yes, it's a graphics system relatively low-end.  But, look at the comment of developer below - your CPU and choice of graphic primitives can also affect rendering speed.

There is no need to compare the rendering of a complicated shape for rendering of simple primitives for this reason. »

  -nodes are removed from the input XML code

  -a node must be inserted and the node value must be 1 or 0, based on an XPATH expression

  I discovered how to remove nodes, I discovered how to insert a new node, but I can not set the value of the conditionally inserted node an XPATH expression.

  You can use the if-then-else statement, like this:

• Alteration of the content of an XML node in java

  I change the contents of an XML node using java, using the method of setTextContent() a node.
  
  Sometimes I also add child nodes of a node. In this case, when I add the child nodes of a given node, when I print the xml data, I see the added nodes.

  There are objects in the examples following that I can't identify (the program was written by someone else).

  There are labeled WINX32Lib.IExpSetup and pFile on the block diagram. There's obviously static ActiveX references, but the contextual help of Labview said "no description available".
  What do these, and how to create them in the palette of functions?

  I'll take the complement and offer what I can in Exchange.

  Start by droping a container ActiveX on the FP.

  Right click and find an option to navigate (or something like that).

  There may be an option to "Create from the document" available for ActiveX stuff.

  In the case of navigation find something that looks like what you want (with the help files you will have to explore).

  After choosing the AX thingy, go to the BD and start adding nodes of property or invoke nodes and see what you find.

  I don't know if this will help. That's what I would do if I found myself trying to create code using undocumented stuff AX.

  It would be interesting to link to serach for help on the web for the AX.

  You COULD also just drag the code that you have demonstrated a new schema and there is.

  As many of you already know, the TreeControl in LabVIEW performs poorly when it comes to dealing with thousands of articles.

   

  For those who are a little used software in some corners of the automotive industry, I would like to create an application that mimics the spy vehicle monitoring window and so I need to have a tree that is quite sensitive.

   

  Basically I have a reception RX Analyzer CAN PEUT managers, these executives are divided into signals

   

  Format

  -DateTime; Name of the image; Content of the framework (HEX); Vacuum (node: level 1 of the hierarchy)

  -Empty; Name of the signal; Value of the signal; Unit (node: level 2 of the hierarchy)

  I know many who have tried to solve this problem, but seems it is pretty a pain to get decent performance when dealing with thousands of articles.

   

  All simply by deferring updates on the façade while adding nodes, use the method to add several items to the end (Incidentally, I strongly suspect that there simply a report on the TreeControl, cause performance with two meanings seem pretty similar).

  There are update reporter, property of the Group of experts that you can set to true prior to several updates command and then it back after. But it's not not going give you sub speed of 10ms. You will need to make some smart update only updates the part that is currently visible to the user and adding elements as the user develops tree leaves or scrolled around. Thousends of items every 10 ms update will NOT work in any UI widget library I know.

  I'm looking for advice on how to effectively create geometric illustrations similar to following geometric random with connected points. Is this possible in Illustrator. I'm not sure of how to create this other that manually which would be too long and tedious brushes dispersion of known plugins. This looks like it was created in the plexus (sequelae) and imported in HAVE? Help is greatly appreciated.

  The corner is implemented with a StackPane. You can do basic of its appearance customization in an external with css file

  It there's no API to access it directly, so to make more something more complex, like adding nodes to it, you will need to use a search:

  Note that this code must be executed after the styles have been applied to the scroll pane. Generally, it is allowed to call it once it is all the two was added to a scene and the scene showing that the scene has been established.
