• Put a double stroke on an object

  I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to add a double stroke to an object in Indesign. In illustrator, I know I can just add a second track from the Panel of performing. I can fake it by stacking in indesign, but I want to put in place so that it can be an object style. Here's an example image of what I'm trying to accomplish.

  the key to getting the two colors to appear is the style of outline (in samples) will be red in this example, but the COLOR of GAP (visible in the line style pane) is cyan in this example.

• Adding Advanced action causes objects to not appear

  In Cp5.5 I have a strange situation. I created a questionnaire and everything worked very well. At one point, I noticed that on questions quiz that some just objects are not displayed, or rather, they display very faded, almost invisible. It's just about certain objects:

  • It concerns all the text captions and images added by me (no not objects standard quiz)
  • It's the only objects that appear either not 0 seconds on the timeline, or have "Fade In" effect. The objects that are on the chronology of 0 seconds and not including any transition normally appear
  • It can be easily fixed by removing the Action advanced in "on entry. The tip Action can contain anything or even be empty, it is not serious (currently it contains just "keep"). The fact that "on entrance" suggested Action is the cause of the problem.

  Copy of the slides to a new project does not help, bug moves with the slide. I tried to deconstruct the slide to identify the problem and remove almost everything, but the error is still there. The original quiz must have images that appear in the calendar after 1 second, and of course the quiz must Action Advanced enter. It seems that the only way is to recreate from scratch (no guarantee will not repeat the problem).

  Does anyone have an idea what to do to make it work?

  It seems that your advanced Actions has been corrupted somehow.

  When I removed both of your advanced Actions and implement new, the problem disappeared.

• Adding CSS properties to objects to animate CC HTML5 Canvas

  Is it possible to add some CSS3 to objects (MovieClips or otherwise) in HTML canvas to animate CC?

  Lol CSS can only the DOM style elements; You cannot apply CSS what anyone in canvas.

• Adding stroke to text with a clipping mask

  I want to add a black border around the text, so it enhances the text.

  I made a rectangle and added black text above the rectangle and applied a mask and reversed and cut out the rectangle and the text.

  

  I tried to release the mask and apply a black line on the text, but when I remask and apply the clipping and reverse the race turns the same color as the text.

  Your comment "applied a mask and reversed and cut out the rectangle and the text" it seems that you use an opacity mask, not a clipping mask. Copy the text (without the mask), stick to the front, remove the fill, add line.

• Adding data to XML objects.

  Hello

  I wonder how to add completely new data to the XML data that I hang in a var.

  I am importing XML data in an editor that I've created.  The XML looks like this:

  The code that I put in place to contain the XML data is as follows:

  var theXML:XML;
  var myXML:XMLList;

  function called when the xml file loading is complete
  function onXMLLoaded_120 (e: Event): void {}
  
  a new instance of the xml object
  Check = new XML (e.target.data);
  
  Use the object XMLList to children nodes filter thumbnails
  myXML = theXML.itemList_120;

  etc - and it works for importing the XML file - if I trace (myXML), XML data above are displayed.

  I find that you can change the different parts of the XML data in myXML in this way:

  myXML.mediaFile[1].@playTime = 2

  (which changes the second line of XML code for this: < mediaFile order = "2" "2" = transIn playTime transOut = '6' = "8" > jpg.jpg < / mediaFile >)

  
  

  My question is:

  Rather than change the existing XML data, how to add completely new data?  That is to say, if the var above who held two lines "mediaFile" of XML, how to add or insert a third?

  check the xml class.  There are all the methods you need to add, insert, and delete nodes, attributes, etc.

  Apologies if this question has been asked before... I have not searched a relevant thread but could not find one.

  I'm new to Captivate and trying to create a simple rectangle with a semi transparent fill, but with no accident vascular cerebral/contour. I can sort out the filling, but cannot find a way to determine the race to 'none' or the width of the line to zero. When I look at the properties of the rectangle (below) I don't see a way to do this?

  Is there a way I can create a simple form without border?

  If all you want is a rectangle, you should consider an object to display. (Insert > Standard objects > select box)

• Compensate for the path - stroke inside the object

  Is it possible to use the lag path to define the scope of an object? My journey always ends inside the object. I have attached a picture of what's going on.

  What seems to be the case there is that you have your background to the same color as your race, so when move you the shape, all you are able to see is offset fill outside the original shape, making it appear that the race is offset on the inside.  Make sense?

  When you use the object-> path-> offset path, you create a copy of the desired shape.  When you use-> path-> offset path effect... you will just move the selected path.  Maybe what you are looking for.

• Paths don't staying is not where I put them when adding stroke.

  My Illustrator was really wobbly recent; Mainly just do not keep lines where I put them. Is there a grid of invisible pixels that I have accidentally turned on at some point, and now everything that seeks to align with it?

  I work in very large formats, and I already tried to reinstall Illustrator. I can't seem to find anything on the Adobe forums, but I confess that I am struggling to find info I need online.

  What was the new Document profile used at the start of the document? If Web or video, there is "Snap to Pixel Grid" on by default in these NDPs. You can turn off in the transformation Panel and selecting all the existing elements, turn off for them in the Transform Panel dialog box.

• Remove strokes of multiple objects

  I have the following problem. I use stokes to hide the form I want. I want to remove these features in total while maintaining the hidden form.

  Thus, for example the picture below has three circles with a white line to form the shapes I want.

  

  I'm perfectly happy with it when it is on a white background, but I want the features of transparency rather than white so that they cannot be seen on a non-white background (see below).

  

  Of course if I do just the transparent features I lose the desired shape.

  That's what I try to achieve (this was done in Photoshop, but I would like to do the same in Illustrator)

  

  I'm sure there is a simple solution, but I'm fighting to get out.

  If the upper part of the two images resemble your current art then you can select all and then apply the 'Merge' pathfinder (from the PF Panel!)

  Then select and remove all the white stuff.

• Hide/remove these pesky negative space of emptiness

  We have all seen it:

  

  Adding strokes to an object, often text (in this case presentation/extended) and it develops little unsightly "negative space forms.

  The white line has an offset added to it.

  How dynamically dispose an object of them? Tried drawing the paths just above them, grouping with the path composed of text and using Pathfinder > add effect... but nope.

  The workarounds are obvious - 1) expand all, remove the unwanted bits.   (2) pull solid paths in the negative spaces that correspond to the bg, as the picture below:

  

  But it sucks.

  Add a new fill above the race.

  Set the fill have the same offset as the line below.

  Then apply effect > Pathfinder > Trim, or effect > Pathfinder > merge to a new filling

  

  (Cause of smoothing onscreen hairlines.)

• Ignore the size of a stroke during the transformation of an object

  Why, suddenly, changing the stroke on an object changes the dimensions of the object in the processing window? If I draw a carrΘ, 100 x pt 100 pt with no line, the transformation panel says it's 100 x 100 pt pt. If I add a stroke of 1 pt around the place, Transform said now that the object is 102 x 102 points pt (assuming that I said to draw the line outside of the object).

  You can toggle the option use an extract from the limits in the General preferences or in the drop of the alignment pallet.

• Adding a line to an object now changes the form...

  I apply a stroke to an object and shape change, radically!

  Also, I select a part of a path and use the keys for this boost over a little, but the selection does not move, the other part of the track don't! What gives?

  If this may be something related to snap to grid of pixels, you can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

  It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

  You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  Or you can try to disable the GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the bar of the App, or on the top of the menu bar, deselect the box Performance GPU. You may also uncheck performance GPU in your preferences.

• Stroke applied to the object it distorts?

  I just applied the patch from Adobe Illustrator for CS6 this morning bring to version 16.0.2. Since then, when I apply a stroke to an object, it distorts it. When I update the weight of the race, it distorts it.

  This makes the program completely unusable. Anyone else does?

  Looks like you have a problem with "snap to grid of pixels.
