adding text

Hello

1. I added a text... classic... General title

2 copy the title

3 paste it in another location

4 when t change text in a title, the text in the other changes also (on the same text

Why?

Thank you

Because you make multiple copies of the same title by the time line.  Instead of making the titles twice in the active project.  Do this by opening the active project box, by selecting the existing title, right-click and choose duplicate.  You now have a second copy that can be dragged to the timeline and changed.

If it helps, please mark it as answered correctly.

    I opened the paint when you view a picture and added text to the image.  Then, I saved the image.  Now, I want to remove the text.  I can't click on the text box to remove the text.  Someone at - he found a way to remove the text in the paint?

    This is because once the file is saved the text in the area is part of the image, it is only a layer separated during the editing session.

    Painting is a relative simple image editing tool, save the editing as separate not process or don't create undo functions that survive to the record. Once you do this generate you a complete picture and revised to replace the original, unless you use the function Save as and save it under a different file name.

    Adobe change Acrobat a lot between releases. Make sure you follow instructions to the same version you have.

    If this looks OK, let us know the exact version you have (help > about Acrobat Pro).

  • How to convert a PDF file that contains an image (picture) with added text typewriter (numbers next to faces) in a JPEG file?

    I'm trying to convert a PDF to JPEG.  The PDF file contains a picture JPG (photo of a group of people) which I added text (numbers next to each face) using the Acrobat typewriter function.  When I use Save as and select JPEG saved file does not contain the added text.  I tried to export the file and got the same results.  Is it possible to save the PDF modified with the addition of text to a new JPEG file?

    Hi jackh46691612,

    Simply fill out the PDF using the Adobe PDF printer, make sure that you have selected "Document & annotations" in the dialog box to print before printing to the Adobe PDF printer.

    Kind regards

  • Why the font size is so great when adding text to the photo in high resolution?

    Why the font size is so great when adding text to the photo in high resolution?

    Font size is usually determined by the size in points. 72 points equal to 1 inch. the size is independent of the size of your actual file. You might have a file that is located at 72 dpi, which is set to a 5 X 7 "and the police would be the size even if it is a 1200 dpi image 5 X 7.

  • Photoshop CC: Workspace flashing black when inserting the Guides & completely black when adding text

    Recently I bought Photoshop CC (2 days ago) and shortly after installation I jumped on Photoshop CC, and began to implement the prefferences for my personal use and started to just do some basic stuff and see what's new in the CC when insertion Guides and adding text to the workspace started to flash/stay BLACK. I don't know what is happening but my specs are better than the minimum requirements? No idea what happened? Operating system: Windows 8.1

    It is a well known bug of Windows 8.

    Update your video card driver from the site of the manufacturer of the GPU (NON-microsoft). If for any reason, you cannot update the video card driver, then go into Photoshop preferences and set GPU "basic" mode and restart Photoshop.

    The classes you need are PdfTable and PdfCell

    http://cfsearching.blogspot.com/2008/09/getting-started-with-iText-tables.html

    I was curious, I threw together a rough example. It adds the table in a pdfTemplate, then the model adds watermark to each page. The positioning and table dimensions are based on my sample data, so you'll need to tweak the.  Make sure that the dimensions of the model are large enough to accommodate your image and your text. If the dimensions are not large enough, the watermark is perhaps not visible.

  • Cannot save the added text to the. CFG files.

    Hello! I am new to Windows 7 (as is practically everybody, because how it's a new operating system...) and I'm currently under Flight Simulator X Deluxe Edition. In the past, on my XP machine, I liked adding items of scenery, aircraft repainted, etc., and in order to introduce the aircraft repaints, text lines must be added to a certain .cfg file located in one of the folders landscapes. My problem is that although I can open and view the contents of the .cfg file, when I add the new text and you try to save, I get an "Access denied" error message. It just doesn't allow me to save! This single action is the only thing in the way of enjoying me the use of the scenery file that I recently downloaded. Any advice on how to bypass this annoying problem would be great! I've already traveled through the administrator functions and tried to open the .cfg file in Notepad and wordpad, but without success.

    Press the windows key, type in Notepad, click with the right button on the notebook, run as long as administrator, open your Notepad file, modify, save.

  • I need help, adding text to the jpeg file

    I need to add a name to a jpeg file for a product that I do with the file... when I go to the text tool and enter the name, it is not displayed. I need to unlock the layer-how can I do this? I have knowledge of basic photoshop btw.  Thank you!!

    The fact that the file is a JPEG file is not the problem. Even if the background layer has been locked, a new layer is added when you add text. Select the Horizontal type tool and click on the page. Once you see the insertion point blinking cursor, type away. You can make choices in the formatting Options bar at the top. When the text looks as you want, click the check mark.

  • Adding text to PDF via Javascript flattenable

    Adobe dear Experts,

    I tried to add text to a PDF through JavaScript for the last 4 hours. I got the hang of several guides to Adobe's JavaScript. I looked at in-depth entirely but can not solve this problem: adding a box to text/text to a page using JavaScript and to PDF and then flatten it with success.

    I have been using the addField with flattened option but when text the text box disappears. I'll try to mess around with the button option and try to flatten but I'm tired of any bugs

    Here is my code:

    var f = this.addField("info", "text", 0, [5,5, 250,25]);
    f.delay = true;
    f.alignment = "center";
    f.fillColor = color.white;
    f.lineWidth = 1;
    f.strokeColor = color.red;
    f.borderStyle = style.s;
    f.textSize = 24;
    f.textColor = color.black;
    f.textFont = font.Arial;
    f.defaultValue = "Receive Stamp";
    f.editable = false;
    f.multiline = false;
    f.doNotScroll = true;
    f.delay = false;

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Nice day

    There is an error in your code, which prevents the value to be defined.

    You are running this code from the JS Console? If so, what happens when you run?

    Edit: There is more than one error, in fact...

  • My added texts and comments will not print on the .pdf more.  Did turn something off accidentally?

    The text that I added a file .pdf (& sometimes comment boxes) appear not when I print the .pdf.  He is used to.  Same thing with stamps, they are not printed on the document and they used to.  Do you have a something accidentally disabled?  I have Adobe Acrobat XI Standard.

    In the print dialog box, choose "Document and brands."

  • Adding text with the text tool corresponds to the resolution of photo

    I discovered that, although the resolution of the image is of no consequence when the sizing of the images in pixel dimensions, it is always important if you decide to add information of copyright with the text tool.

    for example, I received pictures of several people, all sizes of 1024 pixels in width, but I wanted to add their names to the front of the images before putting the images in a slideshow.  I quickly discovered that, even if the images are identical pixel seen, applied names vary in size according to the resolution of the image.

    Because different brands of cameras assign a different resolution to the images taken with this camera, I needed to change the resolution of images to be all the same before I could add the names appearing in the same size.

    It was a surprise for me.

    Mary Lou

    I think we are saying the same thing.

    "Now, Type is expressed in points and points are defined as 72 points per inch for output format."

    This is the information that I needed.

    When people send me images that are all in 1024 x 768 in size in pixels (I'll stop using the word 'size') the size of the font that I choose to use appears differently on these images, depending on their output resolution.

    There is no way to avoid having to adjust the resolution of output of these images, if I want to have text added (via the text tool) that appears the same size on all images.

    Now, I can explain why this is happening.  I hope this is helpful to others reading this.

    Thank you.

  • Adding text audio blocks

    Hello

    I use 7 Captivate to create a course for my employer. On one screen, I have a graph composed of several areas. I want the user to click on each box and see a text while also playing audio describing the contents of this box. Thanks to the wonderful this forum, I was driven to advanced Actions and have works perfectly with the text. Last week I was given audio files. I opened each tip Action, added the audio file correct and sound. When I saw the slide, audio works fine, but the text does not appear. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I've included a screenshot of one of the advanced actions.

    AdvActions.JPG

    Text containers have a duration of only 3 seconds, so that areas of click, which trigger actions (attention: a shared action is not an advanced based on the same script action, will provide some links) have their suspension point way more later (can't see where because a calendar stops before the end of the slide). If you show text captions and the read head has already gone beyond 3 seconds, text will never be shown. It is indeed a problem of chronology, as I suspected. Extend the blocks of text at the end of the slide (CTRL-E) and try to understand why I have proposed to group them.

    But if they click while playing the slide audio, there are always two audio clips playing simultaneously.
