addition of sequences in first pro with extendscript

Is there a way or a api that would allow me to copy all the elements in a sequence first pro and add these items to another first sequence pro?

Thank you

Kelly

There is no public API for this. You could perhaps export these sequences under FCP XML and generate a new FCP XML combining / adding them?

  • How do I sequence in first Pro CC records?

I started using only first Pro CC, and I want to know how to make the different sequences in the same timeline with the same audio and video clips, so I didn't save a new file and start all my editing all over again whenever I want to try a different mount. I asked a friend who took advantage of Final Cut Pro and Premiere CS6, and she said that it must be something called "Sequence files" where you create a new tab for each different amendment on the same timeline. However it can not find where you create sequence in CC like you records allowing the CS6. I don't know that this is probably a simple button or command hidden from view. Can someone tell me if this feature is always available in CC please?

Change your sequence and then right-click in the project window and duplicate.

Rename it as Version #/ description.

    It becomes a unique sequence.,.

I call it "versioning" and do it all the time

  • J; bought Adobe first pro with an annual subscription (monthly payments) but I can't seem to save the product and I have not received serial number

I have not received serial number after buying Adobe first pro (monthly subscription).

Creative cloud does not use a serial number and creative cloud subscribers for not having any serial number associated with their programs.

Creative cloud subscribers use their adobe ID to activate their programs.

Download and install the desktop creative cloud application (after signing with your adobe - the same as that used to pay for your creative cloud subscription ID), apps download Adobe Creative Cloud | CC free trial Adobe

Open the office application (a shortcut will be on your desktop) > click applications, and then select the programs you want to install.

the desktop application gives you access to the cs6, cc and cc 2014 apps.  and probably more in the future.

If you already have the cc desktop application and you need to refresh your adobe id, sign in, and sign out | Creative office cloud app

I recently installed first Pro CC and there are plenty of presets missing new sequences in the dialog box.

Next, I can't open and preview the MP4 files that works very well in CS6.

My operating system is Windows 7.

I tried both methods, and does not solve the problem:

    My problem has been resolved.

I got my system before installing adobe CS and CC again. After removal of antivirus software, I reinstall first Pro CC and it works very well. All missing codecs and presets go back this time.

  • Audio does not transfer do not sequence in first Pro CC

I was working on a project last night and without warning, whenever I tried to transfer a clip to a sequence, the audio stopped coming with the video. The sound certainly works and plays in the top left window, but when you transfer the clip to the sequence, the sound does not come with it. Before you start work on the project, I have updated first through the creative cloud.

This problem has happened early in a project, and I was able to start a new sequence without problems. However, this morning, when I tried a new sequence, the sound wouldn't come at all. A photo of what my screen looks like when I try to put in a video clip of a sequence is below.

    Picture1.png

The settings for audio are the same between the video and the sequence. I certainly don't want to lose the opportunity to add sound when I go further in my project. What can I do to fix this?

    Thank you!

    Hi brown.elise,

Please highlight the trach as shown in the screenshot and then try to insert the clip on the timeline. Just highlight the track on which you want to insert the audio and the video.

    Kind regards

  • What is the maximum number of images that you can import as a sequence in first Pro CC

I do a lot of big engineering according to time is lapses that may include anything between 3 and 12 thousand images. When I import into Premiere Pro CC as a sequence - only about a 1/3 rd seem to be included in the imported sequence.

Has anyone previously met and is it possible that I can work around the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

OK... after having looked closely for files that are created by the GOPRO it would seem that the problem all by using the original sequential file names. I found that if I rename the files during import (Lightroom) to something simple like TL1, TL2.jpg etc, then I can import the entire sequence without any problem.

Thanks to Shooternz and Jim for their suggestions.

  • Create a new sequence in first pro cc

  • I'm a student, wanting to buy first pro with the student and teacher discount. The only two options are the creative cloud and the package of photography. I don't want to just first pro, can someone help please? Thank you

Here's the deal - the SIMPLE APP pricing for an individual is retail $ 19.95 / month, so your 'first only' would be $19.95

For students, Adobe does not give a discount on the price of the single app - on the contrary, they give you EVERYTHING for the price of the only application of mo $19,95. !!! Seems to be a no-brainer for me.

You say you want only first, but once you start editing, you will realize that it is really useful to be able to make a round trip to Photoshop to work on photos/graphics. And then you will have some bad audio you want / need to clean up a little, and you can make a round trip in Adobe Audition and so on. It's a good deal for students.

    Thank you

  • Work on keyframes in copied sequence change the original sequence as well (first Pro CS5.5)

    Hello world

Maybe it's a very basic question, but looking on the forum did not bring to the top of the related issues, so I'm going:

Let's say I have copy a sequence in first Pro CS5.5 and paste it into the same project. I have a few textclips with keyframes in them. (I do, because the videos remain the same, I just write different things in them.) When I change the keyframes in the copied sequence, the way that I need them out there and then come back to the original clip, keyframes it changed as well. This isn't what I wanted.

So my question is: How can I make a copy of a sequence and then work on it without changing the original at the same time? Why are they related in any way? What's a selection in my version of Premiere Pro or is it a general thing?

Be great if someone could explain it to me.

    Thank you!

When you open your title for editing, press the new title based on the current title in the title Editor button; It's one that looks like the film with the "T" in it. This will create a new title in the sandbox, but will not replace the current instance of the title. However, you can simply drag this copied to the instance title, hold the Opt/Alt key and drop it onto the animation instance, copied. This will replace the contents of the clip, but preserve the animation.

  • Import MXF on first Pro Cs5 (Panasonic P2) batch?

    Hello

Does anyone know how to import several both mxf files without having to import the folder contents as separate files? To be clear. I know that several ways to import the mxf in first files. The first is to simply click on file > import, and then browse to the file. Another way via the media browser and yet another is to click with the right button on the project Panel and selecting import. They all share the same problem. You can only import one file at a time because you must select the mxf file in the video subfolder. First then composites the audio and video together. If you select instead the 00 files # you can select more than one, but you get lots of separate audio and video files for each clip. (You also get a composite file but the additional files are a nightmare when it comes to the Organization).  The file looks like when you navigate using the Flie > import or right-click > import methods:

    http://img.skitch.com/20100708-jm33j5ip1b5ii9uhcbyqqag5f5.jpg

The media browser option is slightly different in the time you navigate to the folder 00 # you see the composite file instead of the content folder. But still you cannot select multiple files at the same time unless you navigate only in the parent 00 # s folder so you can select all folders 00 # but you get the same messy jumble of files you get trying this the other way. You can just drag them to the project or Panel right click > import to import the files. This is what it looks like:

    http://img.skitch.com/20100708-c9cuub8d38qh7pk6fn4m78au6u.jpg

The problem is that it is what the file looks like when you import the file:

    http://img.skitch.com/20100708-n7hg5u38nwdnywcui4q55wuaa7.jpg

The only necessary file in this folder all is the last. Then someone does know how to import several mxf files in an era that produced only a single file by sequence in first pro CS5?

Yes, P2CMS is kind of stupid that way - it is really built for a FCP workflow, where you can not handle the MXF files natively. I'm not using P2CMS (or at least I have not for a while), but see if you can turn off the ability to split clips in folders like this.

The mode of operation of the P2, is that a CONTENT folder is created, with AUDIO, VIDEO, CLIP, ICON, VOICE and PROXY files it contains. Each folder contains the part of the MXF clip that corresponds to the type of folder (ie. video goes into the VIDEO folder and so on). When you ingest with P2CMS, it grabs all the components of a specific clip and throws them in a folder named for the clip. The idea is that it facilitates asset management, because you can only select folders (clips) you want, and you will get all the files you need. I personally think it's a lousy way to do it, but it's me.

If P2CMS won't let you copy a P2 card with the intact original folders, you can probably just use Finder to copy the CONTENTS of the folder and its, well well, the content on your local drive. So, when you look at the map "P2" of the media browser, you will see all the clips that are there.

  • First Pro CC 2015.3 lags and freezes. Became unusable

I've just updated for first Pro CC 2015.3. Decision of the worst of my life.

    It became totally unusable.

Whenever I have do the following with any clip (video, image, import AE):

    • Select one or more clips/sequences in the timeline panel
    • Click on the tab 'effects control '.
    • Open a sequence
    • Drag an effect on one of the sequences

First pro gel, the loading of Windows 7 blue circle appears and remains frozen for almost a minute. I took me a half hour to apply an effect to 6 staples.

I arrive with any file video/image/AE comp, with any type of effect (body default effect or third-party plugin it does not matter).

    MY SPECS:

    Windows 7 original

    Original Adobe CC and PAID

    Intel I7 - 3930K, 32 GB of RAM, GPU GTX970.

The operating system that is installed on a 512 GB SSD, project on two 1 TB SSD in RAID 0.

With this configuration, I worked for 4 years and it has always worked like charm.

What can I do to fix this?

Why is it that is happening all the?

Turns out it was a compatibility problem with Colorista 2. I upgraded the plugin to 3 Colorista and now works.

  • Having trouble getting first pro clips cut into compositions

I'm working on a mashup of TV intro in the style of happy days to see the tv with another Publisher.  I'm a complete noob with sequelae.  I have never used before for anything.  The other editor has created the model in the after effects of the turntable with the player intros compositions in the center of the disk and sent the project.  He created a composition for every character intro and I'm trying to get in and replace the clips which he used as place holders with clips that I cut in first pro.

As a first step, I managed by dragging the first pro sequence in the after effects project.  Then when I looked at the composition of the sequence, I could see the trimmed clips and could copy paste clips I wanted in their compositions respective intro.  I noticed the first time, I imported the sequence in AfterEffects and make the changes in first pro it updated in real-time.  Now all of a sudden the changes I made to the first pro sequence is more updated of sequels.  What's weird, it's update to the extent if I watch the sequence in after effects viewer I can see the changes, but on the scenario where the clips are arranged the changes are not reflected and it shows me a previous version of the sequence.

So my two main questions are

    (1) how is the line time in legacy is no longer updated is the changes I make to the sequence in first pro?

    (2) what is the best way to get trimmed first pro clips in after effects compositions?

    Question 1:

Since you're so new to AE, it is quite possible that a number of things that happened without realizing you it. This and you have given a lot of information for troubleshooting I mean, we don't know yet the raw versions you use, much less minor version numbers. (For example, we do not know if you use CC 2014, much less if you run the update 13.2 for AE or not.) Here is some info that we need to help: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/961743

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/961743

    Question 2:

You can choose file > Import Premiere Pro Project and he'll bring the clips. It does not update, but it will give you the items you need in a way that is easier to deal with EI.

Alternatively, you can choose to dynamically bind a first project (which resembles what you initially). In most cases, I prefer the first way.

Since you have never used before AE, there will be a lot of things that frustrate you if you try to plow ahead without knowing the basics. I highly recommend you to go through the resources linked here: granted starting After Effects , there is a wide range of resources, but that's because EI is such a deep and complex program. Without a foundation in the basic principles, you just want to keep to be frustrated.

  • First Pro CC will not play audio video file

I tried to edit videos recorded with Bandicam in first Pro CC. The video file itself is fine, when I play it in Windows Media Player all withdrew, but once that I get it into a sequence in first Pro CC despite it showing the audio track and turning the volume to maximum, there is no sound! How to pick up the audio I know is there?

  • First Pro CC (v7.2.1) crashing whenever I try to export

I tried to export a sequence on first Pro CC (version 7.2.1) in edit mode: Canon XF MPEG2 720 p, but I get a message that says "sorry, a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro to stop. We will try to save your current project.

I use an iMac to one-day-old on OS X (version 10.9) with 2.9 GHz processor Intel Core i5 and 16 GB of memory, so I don't think that the computer is the question.

I tried to restart the two first and my computer 15 - 20 times with no success. I also tried to send the project to another computer to export (as a .mov), but I received a prompt saying: "the project appears to be damaged. It cannot be opened. »

Rendering bar is yellow, and I tried to find a way to turn green without a bit of luck. I tried to download the patch on the Adobe site and I searched the forums for similar problems, but I have not found a way to make it work again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Britton

I am pleased to announce that a completely clean reinstall Premiere Pro seems to solve the problem. Just running a test export now.
