  Hi all

  I'm Manager of my own Web site and there is one last thing I wanted to do, but do not for the life of me find.

  I use an inline block to create a navigation bar, and I have a float for all "items in the list. What I'm trying to understand, that's how I have list items are in line with the page/window as well as the block size. I feel like I've tried everything, so I'd like someone to prove me wrong!

  Rethink the concept.  Menu can be used as it is not current state unless people are on a large screen.  My advice is to find a system of sensitive menu which starts horizontally on the great features & collapses and stacks vertically on the smaller.

  Bootstrap default navigation bar does all this without too much difficulty.

  This page is an MS Office document with code VML and non valid HTML code.
  If you look at the source of the page (view > Page Source) then you'll see the VML code which also shows green comment.

  IE can only view these MS Office documents with code VML.
  Other browser only get images instead of real text and links that can be clicked, see tools > Page Info > media
  Either you must check in the creation parameters that do not generate VML or use an editor which generates a W3C compliant code.

  I believe you are referring to widget Menu. To assign an external URL to the menu button, you do a manual of Widget.

  So I started to do a flash for a Web site navigation bar, I do and it seemed pretty cool , I wanted to see if it has worked so far so I clicked and dragged to where I wanted it in dreamweaver, after publishing the swf, of course. Now I just see a giant white area where the swf file should be. What's wrong?

  Not sure that the Flash is a poor choice for web browsing?

  It is difficult to maintain (you must edit and re - export Flash animation for each small tweak), it is unusable on iDevices (iPhone, iPad etc.) and can present problems of accessibility if not implemented correctly.

  Navigation of CSS text style is in fashion these days. Beautiful navbars with none of the drawbacks of Flash.

• V6.1 - navigation bar in model - how to copy to the new site

  With the help of V61. patched uptodate: in the past, I created a page template that had only the navigation bar. Later, I created a new site and wanted to just take the already built on the old site navigation bar and use it in the new. I have either:
  -copied the page of the model to the new site
  or
  -the navigation bar copied and pasted into a new page in the new site
  I remember is no longer. I then modified the various images/up/down/etc. to reflect the new site navigation bar needs.
  
  This worked very well, but now I need to change the bar. When I change this model, click on the navigation bar, select Edit, Navigation bar, it brings information on the navigation bar Original with all properties and the old button elements. Given that the two sites are on the same machine that I suspect it is somehow the link back to the old nav bar and I dare not play with it. I looked in the code section, but I don't see info here on what he thinks, what is the default for this navigation bar / model page and I can't find anything in the menus, help or KB on how to change what DW's default navigation bar.

  The entire site was "an exercise for the student" and started through tutorials of DW which indicated that I really should be using templates and cascading style sheets. Needless to say, say it anyway, it wasn't a total success. Leaving all that behind and the thanks bye for the advice, I'll look into your suggestions, my problem is that I can't change this in DW's navigation bar. If I select and try to change, rather than the navigation bar that you see on the site of solar data, the basic dunwellguitar.com site navigation bar happens instead. I had hoped to find a way to migrate or change the problem without having to rebuild. Give what you have already said, it seems that it would be prudent spend time-time to rebuild properly.

  In this way, you have a file with only the actual html of the navigation bar code. You will place a small piece of code where you want it to appear in your site navigation bar and the server would put there when the viewer comes to your page. For update, you'd a change to the navigation bar only include the file and download it. The server would then give html of the updated file in the places where you used the excerpt to include it.

  The file include itself does not have the elements that are not part of the navigation (as baror) that the code that you can replace the snippet to include should be included in the file.

  I have been using firefox as my main development for a new Web page. I use WordPress 3.4.2 and custom theme called thesis 1.8.5.

  The main navigation bar contains 8 buttons; 1 on my blog which is the home page and the other 7 to static pages. These buttons all justify left. The right end of the bar contains buttons for Twitter, Google, Facebook, and Feedburner. Are (or were) related to images; These buttons are justified to the right.

I can button ad to the right of the 'standard' buttons: table of contents, search, print, and glossary, but even if I go and edit the skn file and add the 'Home' botton before the table of contents one, it always displays to the right. Is that all that I'm missing?

  I have HR server, so it's kinda a guess but I think as a method of work.

  Change the order of the toolbar in the whstart.js file.

  1. in the whstart.js file, go to line 184 (RH10), it has the text ElseIf (nMsgId == WH_MSG_TOOLBARORDER).

  2. we will find the opening brace, add the following code:

  oMsg.oParam = "CUSTOM" TOC | GLO | IDX | FTS | blackblock | searchform | banner ";

  Returns false;

  3. open whskin_tbars.htm and go to the bottom of the file to find some calls starting with addButton.

  4 Copyt the id of the button (customxxxx) and replace the CUSTOM in the whstart.js file text.

  3. fix the lines in the order you want the buttons to appear. (Remember the "blankblock" button to push some content to the right of the toolbar.

  4. remove the call to the ReSortToolbarButtons() function in the whskin_tbars.js file.

  If WebHelp always use the buttons, try adding return false; as the first code of the ReSortToolbarButtons() function in the whtbar.js file
