• ICal and address book blackBerry smartphones does not sync properly

  When pocketmac on my iMac running, only a few data my iCal (dates etc.) is displayed on my blackberry curve 8310.  Do some dates, most of them are not.  I'm launching a category 3 and the pocketmac and selected all synchronize them.

  There is a similar problem with my address book.  Not all contacts on the Mac go to the device. I like to store all my contacts on the mac and then write them to the curve.

  When the synchronization with pocketmac, everything seems OK, it runs in the process, but becomes inconsistent, sometimes asking if I want to copy a contact on the device.  I select Yes, but after you synchronize that contact is not on the device.

  This is all pretty confusing and disturbing because it is so inconsistent.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  I recently changed my primary Gmail account on my blackberry (from [email protected] to [email protected]).

  I have a problem with sync'ing with my address book.

  All of my old contacts are synchronized via [email protected]

  And now, I would have them Sync with [email protected]

  In every Contact form, I discovered there is a synchronization field to aid which is filled with the google account. Unfortunately, you cannot change this field.

  Y at - it an easy and fast way to mass - change (the field sync using) all my old contacts sync with my new gmail account?

  I tried with importers and exporters of gmail to gmail, but I lose my contacts photos. I cannot accept this solution because I have more than 500 contacts and 90% of them have an image.

  So I'm asking if someone has an idea to solve this problem.

  But I decided I'm going to do it by hand and transfer between gmail via vcf file transfer account.

  It's a real pain in the * because I know that have to redo all the links between linkedin/facebook and my address book. And also photos of contacts. It would have been very happy to be able to mass change the field "to sync using"

  There is therefore no real solution to solve my problem except to waste a lot of time by hand.

  But I'll post another topic for a question than a problem with the synchronization of contacts and photos

• Exhibition of address books blackBerry Smartphones?

  I've just updated to 4.5 on my 8310, ATT.  Now my address book appears in the form of two lines instead of one.  I prefer the single line.  Could not find a way to get back to that.  TIA.

  It is the new display of the address book on OS 4.5... a new feature

  You cannot toggle that to a view of a single line. I'm sorry.

  New torch, using 1 month.

  Well At & T. works usage provider. Former user of Windows mobile. New to blackberry.

  Had already existing Outlook calendar and list of Outlook contacts.

  Using the email four accounts on phone (verizon.net (Outlook), Gmail x 2 and hotmail.com)

  Trying to avoid having to restart the phone back to the factory setting and try again.

  My Outlook to synchronize to my gmail on phone contacts list which in turn double my contacts list because has already synched to my list of contacts from at & t on the phone. The software does not recognize the list of contacts of at & t on the phone, wants only sych to gmail one.

  My calendar wants to sync to all Calenders and in turn have multiple copies of the appointments for the same day/month/year.

  I don't have a wireless sync to one of the accounts.

  Can I delete certain contact and/or calendar on the phone to prevent multiple synchronization to all accounts on the phone?

  Tried default calendar (doesn't), unable to the list of default contacts (no option for this).

  Have deleted all the emails, accounts, but their corresponding list of contacts and calendars will not disappear, even after re-booting.

  Is there any resolution? Or do I just start and resume phone to the factory settings and sych from scratch? I have all the necessary data on my PC.

• BlackBerry Smartphones multiple Outlook calendars?

  Hello.

  I am a new BB user (just got the phone today) and I have a few questions on the PDA software startup and how it related to Outlook.

  I have multiple calendars in my vision that I need to sync and have visible (and hopefully changed) on my BlackBerry.  I am a user of sync to my outlook via the USB cable and the desktop synchronization software.  I was able to select different calendars to sync, but on the BlackBerry, I don't see them and can't find a way to view them.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  My blackberry calendar, I have 5 accounts of other calendar related to 5 different email accounts: work, school, staff, facebook, device.  Each event appears with a different color, and this is very useful for me.

  Default (CICAL and CMIME) are both the personal e-mail account.

  Calendar entries under the personal e-mail account and the only one that allows to synchronize in my outlook.  Even if I create the calendar event in outlook and sync it on my blackberry, it comes out as personal messaging.

  Here's what I want:

  one) to be able to synchronize all calendars BlackBerry to outlook.

  (b) when I create something in my outlook, it syncs to my blackberry as 'work '.

  (c) Optional: capacity, if possible, to choose those to sync.  For instance, synchronize all the calendar events blackberry to outlook with the exception of the facebook calendar events

  The Desktop Manager only syncs with calendar CICAL default on the device.

• Address book of Smartphones from blackBerry cleared by itself

  When I click on my address book all my numbers are gone.  But when someone calls me their name and their number still to come.  So I went in memory, and it says I have 81 numbers saved in the phone.  Also when I use my speed dial names and numbers of people still work.  I have 1733349 bytes of memory still free.  If anyone can help before I wipe my phone outside, please answer.  Thanx

  Before cleaning the device try this, choose the address book, press menu and filter, check if you have any active filter.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Outlook calendar synchronization

  I have a "BOLD" and just recently updated my desktop 6.0 software.  Since then, used to synchronize my outlook calendar.  In the synchronization section of configure, I get a (not installed) beside my calendar icon.  I have no problem of memo pad and address book synchronization but are unable to recognize the calendar.  I tried many suggestions from the online help for blackberry without result.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated that without this feature, I'll change the phones as I live by my calendar outlook for labor.

  When I got a new curve, I discovered that I have two calendars, one for each email address that I use on the curve.  The problem is that MS Outlook synchronizes only one of them.  Is it possible that I can combine the two or get Desktop Manager to synchronize the two?

  If I understand you correctly, you want to watch scenario 3 down to move your calendar and articles entries on reset your sync settings and return service directories.

  Hello, when I bought my BB Curve 8320 CD was empty.  Through this group, I could download v4.5 of Control Panel.  Is their way of use/download the calendar of BB to the computer?  I like the calendar, but it would be easier to use on the computer for the entry and then sync with BB.

  Try the following-

  Connect HH with your in your PC Desktop Manager. If your device is set to wireless synchronization, you must turn off wireless sync. To do this, go to the address book -> click on Menu -> Options -> wireless sync: No. -> click on Menu , Save the changes.

  Click the button synchronize on Desktop Manager-> click on the Configuration tab, then click on set the synchronization of -> click on Choose under address book (on the right side of the pop-up window)-> click apps organizer (like MS outlook, Lotus notes, etc.) -> Select desired apps -> select the option button to sync , and then click OK twicego back to Synchronize tab -> click Synchronize now

  Hi people.  You just bought a 9530.  I tried to sync with my yahoo calendar it.  I can get yahoo mail and my yahoo synchs address book, but the calendar will not be.  I does not give an error, or any kind of indication of what happened.  The progress bar comes up with "please wait" then sort, then it will immediately.  Any thoughts?  Thank you!

  Apparently, the problem is on Facebook.  I had to uninstall the facebook app.  Oddly enough, when you change the calendar by default, Facebook is still there and my only option.  But I was finally able to sync Yahoo with my BB calendar.
