ADF contextual dialog box

Hi all

I use dialog popup for user input.

When the user clicks on the button in the Save dialog box, I don't want to close it. I mean the dialog box still sit and wait an other user input.

is there a way to do this?

With respect,

  • How can I set the title of the dialog box when I run taskflow as contextual dialog box?

    I'm looking at ADF Code corner 039. Operating instructions declaratively launch a workflow bounded in a small popup, http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/39-taskflow-in-popup-169181.pdf
    and have gotton it works, but I would like to first of all the title of the workflow.

    The article shows the popup without title. I want to place a title in the dialog box. This can be accomplished?

    Thank you, Klaus.

    View BrowseDepartments activity in this example has no title. If you don't see a title. If you set the "Title" of the af node: document on the activity of this view, it will be displayed when the workflow is displayed this page in a pop-up window.

  • Contextual dialog box before you call network - not in the EXPECTED order

    In my application, I would like to display a dialog box, while the application is retrieving data from a web server.  What I find is that the dialog box is not displayed until the data recovery is complete.  Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but here are my code snippets.  Suggestions are appreciated.

    public class HomeScreen extends MainScreen  {

        private ImageScreen imageScreen;

        private MenuItem  viewImage = new MenuItem("View Image",100,10) {
          public void run() {
                imageScreen = new ImageScreen();            UiApplication.getUiApplication().pushScreen(imageScreen);
             imageScreen.getImage();
          }
        };}

    public class  ImageScreen extends MainScreen {   private Dialog statusDlg;

       public ImageScreen() {           statusDlg = new Dialog("Loading...",null,null,0,icon);

           // some other initializations here   }

        public void getImage() throws Exception {        statusDlg.show();

            // create the connection...        HttpConnection conn = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(URL,Connector.READ_WRITE, true);        conn.setRequestMethod(HttpConnection.POST);

            // set paramters and write out requests here . . .

            // open input stream to get response from server        InputStream in = conn.openInputStream();

            // process the response        processResponse(conn.getResponseCode(), in);

            // close everything out        .        .    }

        public void processResponse(final int HTTPResponseCode, final InputStream inputStream)     {

          UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeLater(new Runnable() {        public void run()        {          statusDlg.close();

              // process response here          .          .          .        }      });        }

    }

    I want to see is a blank screen with a pop - up dialog box indicating that the data is "Loading"... ", while imageScreen.getImage () is executed (I voluntarily added latency in my HTTP response to simulate the network latency).  But instead, I see that the application remains on the screen (home screen), while the data are read.  Once the data is extracted, the new screen (ImageScreen) is displayed and the dialog box opens for a fraction of a second.

    I hope this makes sense.  I can clarify more, otherwise.

    It's because you make blocking network operation of e/s on the event thread (aka user interface thread). The getImage method is called on the thread of the event, this method calls the blocking network i/o operation. After processing the event of the user interface that caused the getImage method is called, the event thread starts processing the next events, which tells the OS to display your popup. This, obvsiouly, doesn't happen until GetImage ends.

    What GetImage should probably do is network IO unloading in another thread (for example, starting a new thread).

  • Contextual before accessing the e-mail dialog box

    On August 10, 2015 when I opened Firefox to access my email account, a popup dialog appeared offering online ID protection. He seemed to make an offering of Mozilla, I went and signed up for it. However, when I got to the point where they have asked for my social security number, I left. Unfortunately, in the process before this stage, I must have authorized a trial of this offer and had given their number in my debit card, assuming I would be responsible only for $1.00. 15, I got a warning from my Bank saying that my card has be used for a purchase outside the United States. The amount was priced at $29.95 per ThinkCredit. The same day I called to 800-424-0262 and asked what the charge was for and was told it was for a trial for Credit Reporting in 7 days. I said that I was not interested and told me that they would cancel the order (cancellation #79845570). I informed my Bank and they said they would monitor the account to ensure that the charge had been reversed. Yesterday I received my bank statement and noticed the my account had been charge $1.00 two times on the 10th. Once for periodic charges for the ThinkCredit and once for a recurring fee for Idsafelock (800-316-0249)
    I know it's a bit long explanation before my question of: was initiated by Mozilla or Firefox above pop-up dialog box?

    Thanking you in advance for your cooperation and consideration for answering my question, I remain,

    No, he wasn't - Mozilla has nothing to do with "scams" like that. Best thing to do is to contact your Bank and dispute the charges.

  • I use an iMac with El Capitan and Photoshop CS6. I'm trying to add a shadow to a text on a picture. I followed the instructions to double the text layer but not dropshadow dialog box appears and I can't. Where would it be?

    Double click on the text on the right side of the display panel does not cause a dialog box open. I just need to know where the dialog box is so I can add the drop shadow

    Please make sure that you double-click on the text layer in the layer panel not the name of the layer. With the text, it can be difficult if the name is too long. You can also right-click on the text layer in the Panel and bring up the contextual menu and select 'blending Options '.

  • Update of popup when the export dialog box is open

    I am writing an export plugin to export images on my Web page. On the export dialog box, a drop-down menu to select the gallery where the image should I exported. Contextual menu items are read by the web server after the login information is validated, this product only when I update my login information.

    I wonder if there is no way to update the list at the opening of the export dialog box? Add a LrHttp.get call to the startDialog method an output error occurs.

    How can manage us such smart update function dynamically export gui?

    Best,

    Marcus

    You could link the 'items' of the popup_menu property to a key in the property table.  Then have an asynchronous task is the LrHttp.get () and update the value of this key.  In broad terms:

    f: popup_menu {points = LrView.bind ("menuItems")...}

    LrTasks.startAsyncTask (function)

    ... LrHttp.get ()...

    prop.menuItems =... get() property...

  • Refresh the page after registration in the pop-up dialog box

    I have a page that displays read values of VO. I have a contextual dialog which allow you to change the values.

    When I click ok in the dialog box, the changes are committed to the database, but the home page is not refreshed with the updated values.

    How to update?

    Hello

    How do view you vo as a table or a form?

  • Form inputText select in the tree in the pop-up dialog box

    I have two entity objects. Recursive tree structure, the other has a foreign key to the first.

    The form of the second entity ADF, I need to make the user choose attribute for foreign key in a tree, so I've created a popup, a dialogue and a tree in it. Then we add a showPopupBehavior foreign key of the second entity object attribute inputText.

    Using a bean to backup, when you click on the button "OK" in the dialog box, I manage defining the foreign key of the selection attribute. I have the following code:

        public void KonuKoduPopup_DialogListener(DialogEvent dialogEvent) {
            if (dialogEvent.getOutcome().name().equals("ok")) {
                Row konuKoduRow = (Row)ADFUtils.evaluateEL("#{bindings.KonuKoduView1.currentRow}");
                Object konuKoduRowId = konuKoduRow.getAttribute("Id");

                AttributeBinding konuKoduId = ADFUtils.findControlBinding("KonuKoduId");
                konuKoduId.setInputValue(konuKoduRowId);

            }
        }

    Although it does not give exception, it does not work. I don't see the value of the inputText. What can be the problem?

    Hello

    do you have PPR the text input field to display the changed value?

  • Why is OK disabled in Debugger dialog box change value?

    Hello

    For some reason any OK disabled in the dialog box, change the value of the debugger. None of what I've seen so far explains why this happens. The variable stores an oracle.jbo.domain.Date, and the source ADF library was imported into the project.

    Ideas?

  • Bounded task flows does not appear in the dialog box

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.

    I have a jsf page, called main.jsf, which has a button that calls a workflow bounded like a dialog box.

    When the homepage is called without the extension of jsf, as https://adf-tmp.xxx.com/receiving/faces/main and the button is clicked, everything works and the stubborn workflow appears as a dialog box.

    But the stubborn workflow does not appear if the homepage is launched with the jsf extension, like https://adf-tmp.xxx.com/receiving/faces/main.jsf.

    When the button is clicked to start the flow of stubborn work, just nothing happens.

    What is the cause of this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    the reason is that you call the physical page out of context in the workflow. Because the popup is a workflow feature you must ensure that the workflow is referenced, which is not if you call the physical file only (in which case would be sent to the underlying JSf, but not the workflow)
