ADF Mobile browser - deployed on standalone?

Hi all

11.1.2 Jdev

I created a very basic application view a merger mvc. I followed a couple of tutorials for mobile browser application and can successfully deploy and run this application to the built-in WLS.

I then deploy my application to a standalone WLS who has been patched with Sherman a few months ago. The application deploys very well, however I can't seem to access it.

I can access a normal JSF page through the default ViewController via the following link:

http://111.111.111:7103/mobile-ViewController-context-root/faces/main.JSF

but in the draft of the Mobile display:

ttp://111.111.111:7103 / mobile-ViewControllerMobile-context-root/faces/hand. JSF

The link is not found. It's almost as if this project is not deployed to stand alone?

Not quite sure where I am mistaken here. The only change to the address of the WLS integrated into the standalone version is the area and the port.

Y at - it need software updates? I guess not here and also to switch my problem is an issue - but have spent hours trying different combinations of links.

  • How to test my application of ADF mobile browser on Android emulator?

    Hello

    I created a Mobile browser app. Could someone tell me please how to test on the Android emulator?

    I read the information on downloading and configuring (Blackberry) simulators and emulators (Microsoft Windows) to browser Mobile ADF in 'Running Mobile Device simulators with JDeveloper and ADF Mobile'. However they mention no details on downloading and configuring "* Android emulators." Could someone help me please in the present.

    Concerning
    Raja

    If you want to test the browser applications Mobile ADF (those built with components of the Trinity) - then you run your application in the JDev, copy the URL and open in the browser, which is part of the Android emulator.

    If you want to test ADF Mobile apps - you deploy to the emulator, and then start the application like this:

  • ADF Mobile Browser: problem with rowSelection = property 'Single '.

    Hi all

    I use jdev 11.1.1.5.0 version.

    I'm setting up browser mobile ADF application. in my case, I created two pages jsp (pronounced on mobile). on the first page, I slipped master vo and on the second page I drag detail vo.

    and rowSelection value = "Single" another property in VO. master so when the user select table main line radio button, and then click the order link go to the details page and vo display detail record according to master vo.

      <tr:table value="#{bindings.PayDepartmentView1.collectionModel}"
                      var="row" rows="#{bindings.PayDepartmentView1.rangeSize}"
                      emptyText="#{bindings.PayDepartmentView1.viewable ? 'No data to display.' : 'Access Denied.'}"
                      width="100%" horizontalGridVisible="false"
                      selectionListener="#{bindings.PayDepartmentView1.collectionModel. makeCurrent}"
                      rowSelection="single">

              <tr:column sortProperty="Name" sortable="false"
                         headerText="#{bindings.PayDepartmentView1.hints.Name.label}" width="100%">
                         <tr:panelGroupLayout layout="vertical">
                <tr:commandLink text="#{row.bindings.Name.inputValue}" styleClass="af_m_listingLink"
                                action="#{mobbean.chngDept}"
                                actionListener="#{mobbean.chngdeptlistener}"/>
                </tr:panelGroupLayout>

              </tr:column>
            </tr:table>

    but the problem is that I don't want radio button for selecting rows.

    If I disassembled rowSelection property box option is hide but not selected table then. and detail table show always record according to the first row of the table.

    Thank you

    Manish

    You don't need to display the key of the fields in the table, but do not add to your links page so that they are accessible - so you can reference them in your link. If you use a composite key, you may need to use the setCurrentRowWithKey instead of KeyValue #{row.rowKeyStr}

    See the section on the setCurrentRowWithKey here: Application Module Databinding tips and Techniques

  • ADF - 12 c taken invokeAction Mobile browser supported?

    We plan to upgrade our existing platform to Oracle 12 c (11.1.2.3) and in the treatment of migrating our applications in the development environment.

    One of the critical applications is a browser Mobile ADF application. We use the executable invokeAction massively in our pages to perform actions on the loading of the page.

    Now, even if the application will work perfectly in the environment of 12 c, we get a warning as invokeAction is obsolete.

    Question: what is the alternative to invokeAction in ADF Mobile Browser applications where we don't have taskflows?

    Thank you...

    Hello

    deprecated means that he is a candidate for the future off load. The alternative is to use a method in front of a page call activity to run the query you made today with the invokeAction element

    Hello

    + "Oracle ADF Mobile Browser: for Web applications online, where the user interface implemented with Apache Trinidad JavaServer Faces (JSF) components is returned to mobile browsers." ADF Mobile browser is compatible with virtually all mobile browsers and offers optimized CSS mobile user experiences. » +

    ADF Faces does not provide the same mobile browser optimization and so cannot be used on mobile phones (but can on tablets). This means that for the creation of pages that run in the browser of a mobile phone, you use MyFaces Trinidad components. The features and the namespaces component ADF Faces are not enabled in this environment. Page templates are an element of the ADF Faces and not available for the Trinity (and therefore mobile browser)

    Enter the Application-> properties-> menu of Application deployment
    There you should be able to create a new profile of EAR deployment that will include your model and user interface projects and deploy them to the server.

  • ADF Mobile: deployment on multiple iOS Devices

    Hello

    I have developed a custom application of ADF Mobile and successfully deploy the same on an iPad using the certificate of distribution companies.

    As I borrowed someone's iPad I returned the unit and the device is somewhere else now.

    After deploying to the device, I had made the same request to the iOS Simulator using a different profile of deployment.

    Now, I want to get the. File API to run the application on another iPad, but when I checked the deployment folder in the workspace that I can't see everything. IPA file.

    If I deploy the application on iOS Simulator using the deployment profile configured for the distribution company profile I would be able to run on any other iPad .app file.

    And is it possible to extract the. IPA file from the old iPad? Any other alternative that someone might suggest.

    We seek to deploy the sample FOD mobile application on a blackberry Simulator according to the tutorial given at:.
    http://www.Oracle.com/WebFolder/technetwork/tutorials/OBE/jdev/obe11jdev/PS3/adf_mobile_top/adf_mobile/jdtut_11r2_54_1.html

    We had followed all the steps in part 2 and have been able to deploy the application on the BB Simulator and test also.

    After that, we followed the steps in part 3 and now when you try to deploy the mobile client application on the Simulator, the deployment for BB profile option is disabled and this is why we are not able to deploy the application.

    We Jdev 11.1.1.4.0 with mobile client extension installed and also installed the Simulator and BB JDE.
    Can someone please help us get the deployment to BB profile option active again?

    PS: We also tried to install Jdev 11.1.1.4.0 with extension adf mobile on another machine with JDE BB and BB 9700 Simulator, but on this new machine, deployment profile is disabled from the beginning, we are not yet able to deploy the changes that we made to part 2 of this tutorial.

    Kind regards
    Hemant

    Hi, Hemant, just to be sure, have you tried the kickoff of deployment of the project MobileClient, or in the Application menu? Mobile client app must be deployed in the application menu.

    In addition, if you have already deployed, the deployment profile has been created, so you only have to deploy again in the application menu.

    If you see that these items are disabled in some way, then I don't think I've seen it before. Maybe we can set up a web conference to look at.

    Please just ping - me directly.

    Thank you

    But see my configuration below. I loaded different directory.

    2. I loaded different directory. Why is he trying to extract from another directory. ?

    More clearly... / Platform-tools\aapt is available in drive f but it is looking for drive C Program Files...

    This link is not accurate. But it helps me understand, I need to move the files to the mentioned location. But it is not sensible for me in my case.

    Thank you

    Kaim.

    You must use Oracle MAF instead of Oracle ADF Mobile in the future.
