ADF Mobile: Linking data iterators

Nice day:

I am looking for a detailed direction on how to configure properly the iterator data binding.  I have a JSON object which has been correctly configured as an iterator.  When I drag the iterator in my AMX page I discovered only in the 1st record phone number, text, e-mail are populated behind the elements of the commandButton control.

Use case: searching for employees named "Tony" my application returns 5 records.  I have the employee text, email, phone number defined behind the commandButton control.  The data appears as expected.  Each employee has a picture, title, name, number of phone-> these items are properly drawn.

But when I click the commandButtons to (1) send text (2) email (3) addContact, they shoot 1st detail records only.

Each record after the employee record 1 lie save data incorrectly behind these commandButton control components.

-> No matter what Tony I click on, the commandButtons are 1 records the information.  If I click on the 4th employee & click the sendEmail it populated email address 1 # Tony.

Please direct me in the sense of the resolution of this error.

Thank you!  TreeStrepek

If the model of the collection for the buttons, list buttons would get generated. If only one or a few buttons just add, add the button with af:panelGroupLayout.

    Hello

    The new version of Oracle Mobile is published? I don't see updates on the ADF Mobile homepage. If it's not yet released when can we expect this is? Is there a forum where I can know the deployment process of the new ADF Mobile application based on AMX, to a device?

    Thank you

    His will in limited beta test end of April (just in case, the beta sites are selected and cannot be added). If at this point we do not have a release date to share

    Is there a forum where I can know the deployment process of the new ADF Mobile application based on AMX, to a device?

    There is no forum. However, once you have created a Mobile ADF application, you create a profile of deployment for the application to deploy. Deployment on devices using the device's specific market places, opportunities and techniques.

  • ADF Mobile custom Login Page link to external resources (Twitter Widget)

    Hello

    I read that as much as possible on the ADF Mobile connection custom HTML pages, it is not well documented at this time. As I understand it, I can't reference a resource such as an image or a URL that is not in the public_html directory. I tried to add a Twitter Widget by using the Twitter API on my custom login page that displays the most recent tweet from one of my Twitter accounts. However, when I try and deploy my application as it the custom login page no longer works correctly (the Connect button, for example, becomes not clickable).

    Could someone confirm whether my interpretation above is correct? Is this a case of ADF Mobile prevents me from using an external resource through it is the audit rule: file not in public_html directory?

    In addition, anyone know if there is a way for me to reach my goal?

    Thanks a lot for your time and assistance.

    Ben

    "To allow the deployment, all resources referenced by the following attributes must be located in the public_html directory of the controller view or the controller of the implementation of the projects."

    "ADF Mobile does not support resources referenced from another location, which means that you cannot, for example, enter a value outside the directory public_html to help... / as a prefix.

  • Access a secure web service of ADF Mobile Application

    Hello

    We try to create an ADF Mobile application that uses a secure web service located in Oracle EBS (with SOA Suite).

    We use JDeveloper 11 g 11.1.2.4.0

    Initially, create usd a Control(SOAP/REST) Gallery Web Service data and provided the WSDL document. We tried to run on a simulator, but not did not do anything. We have also found a way to provide the user name and password. So we left it there.

    Then we tried to create a Java desktop app to check if it was a problem with our server. In the desktop application, we created a "Web Service Client and Proxy" new gallery followed the steps and used oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy, added the code below to put the username and password and was able to call the service and retrieve data.

    (reqContext.put (BindingProvider.USERNAME_PROPERTY, "DBAKER");

    reqContext.put (BindingProvider.PASSWORD_PROPERTY, "xxxxx");

    So we thought to return to the application the ADF Mobile and creating a "Web Service Client and Proxy" it, but when we built this project, we had the ' annotations are not supported in - source 1.4 "&" generics are not supported in - source 1.4 "errors and found that ADF Mobile does not support beyond Java 1.4" "» (Is that right?)

    We then found the video "to access the secure Services of ADF Mobile Web" by Shay (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rk5om3o3Pas) and saw that he was using a login server.

    We wanted to confirm if you use a login server is the right path to access a secure web service of an Oracle ADF Mobile application?

    Are there other ways to do it?

    If we need to create a login server, can provide you links that will put us on the right track in establishing a connection server that can connect to the EBS?

    Thank you.

    The URL must point to a protected page that prompts the user for basic authentication.

    See an example here:

  • Remote service using ADF Mobile call

    Hello

    I'm new to ADF/ADF Mobile. I have a web service - http://www.webservicex.com/globalweather.asmx and I have an application that looks at-http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18941_01/tutorials/BuildingMobileApps/ADFMobileTutorial_1.html. Using the webservice, I'll enter a city name and it will bring me to a new page with the results.

    I tried to create a web service by using this url data control - http://www.webservicex.com/globalweather.asmx?WSDL and it gives me the two data control.
    1 GetCitiesByCountry (String)
    2 GetWeather(String,String)

    From there, I tried many ways to drag the control from the facet data. All advice/instructions on how to do it? Especially on data links and view the results.

    Hello

    What does not work?
    By dragging from the datacontrol to the facet?

    That only works when you drop in the other 'source' tab or in the pane "structure."
    It does not work in the 'Sample' tab

    The Web service call does not work?
    Not sure why it does not work. Could be many reasons...

    Try to be more specific in your question.
    An example of a service of wheater / ADF Mobile application is available here: https://blogs.oracle.com/mobile/entry/web_services_example_part_1

  • ADF Mobile: Want to reuse the moving components of the adf.

    Hi all

    I need to use an application mobile adf newly created in an existing App. I want to use data controls to the new application in my consuming application to create some pages that I tried to do by FAR of the draft view controller of the new application, adding the FAR to my former PPP as a library... I am referring to 4 definition of a Mobile Application (version 2.0.0.0.0).

    Ideally, I should get two options when adding library (FAR)-

    1 application library

    2 ViewController project.

    But I'm only option 1.

    Jdev version: 11.1.2.4

    ADF Mobile version: 11.1.2.4.39.64.71

    Is the problem with the jdev m using an older version of the MAF.

    You are looking at documentation, Oracle MAF but working with ADF Mobile.

    You must migrate ADF mobile at the CRG as soon as POSSIBLE, and then you will get the functionality you need.

    No reason to stay with the old Mobile ADF which is not supported any longer, migration to the MAF should be smooth.

  • Oracle ADF Mobile - Android SDK problem

    Hello

    I use Jdev11.1.2.4.0 with ADF Mobile framework 11.1.2.4.39.64.71 EQUIPPED. While I'm deploying application in the Android emulator more precisely Android SDK Manager 22.2.1.

    I got an error like.

    CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified in android "C:\Program Files\Android\platform-tools\aapt"":;

    of this error. I got to know, aapt is not in the path mentioned during execution.

    But see my configuration below. I loaded different directory.

    Location of the Android SDK:

    F:\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\sdk

    Location of the Android platform:

    F:\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\adt-bundle-Windows-x86_64-20130917\sdk\platforms\android-18.

    Little, I've observed, earlier we use ADF Mobile framework 11.1.2.3.xx.xx. Now, we are updated to 11.1.2.4.39.64.71. And,

    Also AVG Antivirus installed.

    I did a few months ago before deployment. I force get this error.

    My basic questions:

    1. how to solve this error. ?

    2. I loaded different directory. Why is he trying to extract from another directory. ?

    More clearly... / Platform-tools\aapt is available in drive f but it is looking for drive C Program Files...

    Help me understand...

    During this time. I have goggled out, I got a link from Jobinesh.

    Binary: Error during the deployment of the CRG app for android - cannot run the program "adt-bundle-windows-x86_64-20140321\sdk\tools\zi..."

    This link is not accurate. But it helps me understand, I need to move the files to the mentioned location. But it is not sensible for me in my case.

    Thank you

    Kaim.

    You must use Oracle MAF instead of Oracle ADF Mobile in the future.

    Google continues to change the location of the files in their installation of SDK - so change between versions of the API of the location of the files.

    Make sure that you use the API right supported by your Mobile ADF or the version of the MAF.

  • ADF Mobile: Error when accessing the app from the Android emulator

    I am trying to build a mobile app ADF with JDeveloper (11.1.2.4.0) and its extension ADF Mobile Framework (11.1.2.4.39.64.69). The version of the Android API is 23 and the SDK build tools and platform version 20.

    I built the app and the deployment of the android emulator has been a success, but when I try to access the application on the emulator, it throws an error indicating that the application has stopped working.

    When I check logcat he showed the exception stack trace below that throws an UnsupportedOperationException

    Hi SayantanSinha,

    If you look under API supported levels, the maximum is 19 API.  I can't speak for the ADF 11.1.2 but the lines of code in the (more recent) MAF, who have a similar support matrix, we have noted problems with the API 20.

    You can download older versions of the API of the Manager of Android SDK tool.  Remember to update your EPCO or JDev SDK configuration with the version that you want to use once it is installed.

  • ADF Mobile | to view the results in a table

    Hi all

    I use Jdeveloper with ADF Mobile 11.1.2.4.39.64.62 extensions 11.1.2.4

    I must displya quesry results in the form of a table (I'm developing of application for tablets and iPads).

    I don't see any compont to Datacontrols table to remove it as a table on page amx.

    Is it possible that I can display the data in a table in ADF Mobile?

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Vieira

    Hi Vinay,

    Yes, I understand that the table showing in the window is not the best, but we develop this for the cushions and with highest 7-inch screen tablets.

    I am able to achieve by droping inside the Table list item > row > component cell Format.

    Don't you see the disadvantages of this approach?

    Thank you

    Vieira

  • ADF Mobile | using secure web services

    Hi all

    I'm pretty new to ADF Mobile, I use JDev 11.1.2.4.

    In my Mobile application I want to use the secure web service.

    Here's what I do:

    1. creation of a data control based on the WSDL binding.

    2. get the web service methods in the data control.

    3. during the race, I'm getting that error "oracle.j2ee.ws.client.jaxws.JRFSOAPFaultException: Client from server SOAP fault: Missing < wsse: Security > in the SOAP header.

    When trying to run the WSDL binding in SOAP UI, I need set request username and passwordproperties, then only I will be able to invoke this web service.

    Here, my question is where can I set these properties for the data control to the web service ?

    Please suggest.

    Thank you

    Vieu

    Hi Shay,

    Thank you very much for the reply, I'm able to resolve the problem with the approach mentioned user guide.

    I forgot to set it up for the first time: ADF Mobile allows you to specify a custom provider class in your DataControls.dcx file. This custom class extends oracle.adfinternal.model.adapter.webservice.provider.soap.SOAPProvider . You can use it to specify an implementation of the SoapHeader[] getAdditionalSoapHeaders() method

    Example 9-1 shows how to extend the SOAPProvider and create a custom header has shown in example 9-2

    package provider.ebs.soap;

    Import oracle.adfinternal.model.adapter.webservice.provider.soap.SOAPProvider;

    Import oracle.adfinternal.model.adapter.webservice.provider.soap.SoapHeader;

    SerializableAttribute public class EBSSOAPProvider extends SOAPProvider {}

    SoapHeader public getAdditionalSoapHeaders() {}]

    SoapHeader header [] = SoapHeader News [2];

    SoapHeader token = null;

    SoapHeader user = null;

    SoapHeader pass = null;

    header [0] = new SoapHeader ("http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/fnd/soaprovider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/",

    "SOAHeader");

    header [0] .addChild (new SoapHeader)

    "http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/fnd/soaprovider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/,"

    "Responsibility."

    'SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR'));

    header [0] .addChild (new SoapHeader)

    "http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/fnd/soaprovider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/,"

    "RespApplication,"

    'SYSADMIN'));

    header [0] .addChild (new SoapHeader)

    "http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/fnd/soaprovider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/,"

    "SecurityGroup."

    'STANDARD'));

    header [0] .addChild (new SoapHeader)

    "http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/fnd/soaprovider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/,"

    "NLSLanguage,"

    'AMERICAN'));

    header [0] .addChild (new SoapHeader)

    "http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/fnd/soaprovider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/,"

    "Org_Id."

    "0"));

    header [1] = (new) SoapHeader

    "http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd,"

    'Security');

    Token = new (SoapHeader

    "http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd,"

    "UsernameToken");

    User = new (SoapHeader

    "http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd,"

    "Username."

    "sysadmin");

    pass = new (SoapHeader

    "http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd,"

    "Password."

    "sysadmin");

    Header [1]. AddChild (Token);

    token.addChild (user);

    token.addChild (pass);

    Returns the header;

    }

    }

  • ADF Mobile EL substring

    Hello!

    I shows this method (https://blogs.oracle.com/adf/entry/string_manipulation_functions_inside_el) that you import jstl functions and use the fn:substring, fn:length, etc.

    but I am applying it in an AMX:PAGE, but it does not work there at - it a way to apply the substring, indexOf to EL in adf mobile?

    line 48 shows: I tried #{fn:substring(row.url,0,5)} I need and I get 'number invalid EL incorrect Expression of the operands'}

    AMX pages aren't JSF you cannot use just other JSF/JSP features in them.

    A better approach would probably be to manipulating strings in a bean of support and have card field to this value of bean.

  • County of 'badge' or bubble in Oracle ADF Mobile

    Hello

    Can someone give me a sample of strategy of the County 'badge' or bubble in Oracle ADF Mobile?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    For what I can see there is no such thing for mobile of the box (I hope someone will correct me). For now, you will need to implement your own component using css and so on. The link that I sent is the app icon badge (and it's just for iOS). As for example when you receive new messages and shows you the number of new messages in the application icon. If you find something, please let us know.

  • ADF Mobile access protected web service with the user name and password

    With Jdev 11.1.2.4 (with the extension of the ADF Mobile) I am creating a data control that uses a SOAP web service. The web service is not protected by a policy of wss, but its point of endpoint URL is only protected by simple HTTP authentication (internal weblogic server is not accessible public.) We use an Apache server that is configured with a location that is a simple proxypass on url of the web service endpoint weblogic. This apache location apply simple HTTP authorization). I can invoke successfully the methods with parser HTTP by simply adding to the request HTTP header "authorization: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx base =" (where xxx = user name and encrypted password).

    In the mobile application of ADF, I used the DataControls.dcx-> window to connect to the Web Service change and provided the username and password to the URL of the endpoint. The problem is that after the deployment and execution of this application on the emulator (or the device itself), I get no data by the web service since with the HTTP 401 error http server responses. It seems that that the credentials are not deployed to the device, so while the application is running can not find them.

    I searched a lot and found a similar article (quite old) in the RTO by Frank Nimphius here access_protected_web_services_from_adf.htm

    Is there a way to do this, or if I'm missing the entire image?

    Thank you very much.

  • Display a table in the ADF Mobile app

    The source of data for the mobile adf application I'm building is the Oracle database. I developed a SOAP web service to retrieve data from database. However, I do not understand how to map data from the web service to adf mobile application.

    I intend to display the data in a table on page amx of adf mobile application. Please advise me how to do this.

    To look at an amx:iterator to browse the lines.

    And it generates amx:table and rowLayout while doing it.

  • ADF MOBILE: how to add an item in the list without refresh the entire list

    Hello

    I am using this method to add an item to a list (I've already added the item to the data model):

    providerChangeSupport.fireProviderCreate (String providerKey, int newRowKey, object newValue);

    I don't want refresh the entire list, rather, I want to just add a new item to the list, that's why I want to use this method.

    I want to know, what value should I use for the second argument? i.e. 'int newRowKey '.

    Thank you

    Hello

    the event of change of provider in your case seems to actually create a new line. So the int is the rowKey (index PK or line) of the new line. There is no other choice to simply add an element to a list (ADF Mobile provides no component handles)
