ADF security: using the own authorization logic

Hello

We use the ADF security.
But we have a very special user-/ law-management, which is stored in our oracle database and should be administered by the application itself.
Authentication is already running against the users of the database.
But now we must move from the logic of authorization to the db.

The logic:
A page has some components where each item can have its own law, if the user can see it or not.
If a user has at least one right for a component, it is allowed to see the page.

Our logic is so different from the logic of the ADF security.

How can we use Secure ADF with our requirements to check if a user is authorized to view a page or not?
DB - side, we could prepare a view that contains all the users with the pages that they are authorized to see.
Or maybe this logic could also be made to a bean.

I think that we have to choose programmatic way, which perhaps recovers after a successful login all rights or pages which allow to obtain.

Best regards
Bastian

I use JDeveloper 11 g Release 1 (11.1.1.3.0)

You can set object privileges and grant roles. If a user has the privilege to see a page, disable the link itself based on its role.
In addition, when the user accesses a particular page, you can control access, as if the user has have delete privilege, you can disable delete button.

  • Use the own user dialog box

    Hello

I want to use my own user dialog box at startup of the user interface. This dialog gets the user to a database of information and I'm not logging in twice.

Is it possible, where can I disable the standard dialog box, where I should put my dialog box and what data should I send to TS.

    Using TS3.0 and LV8.2.1.

    schwede greetings

    Schwede-

If you want to change the user login dialog box when you start TestStand, what you want to do is to change the sequence of LoginLogout in the sequence FrontEndCallbacks.seq file. Before editing, I recommend that you copy the folder \Components\NI\Callbacks\FrontEnd \Components\User\Callbacks in the Directory. Then, modify the files there. You want to replace the steps of connection and disconnection of the sequence of LoginLogout with your own steps that display your own personal dialog box.

    I hope this helps.

    Nitesh

At the time of development, you can hardcode the users in the file jazn-"Data.xml", but it is useless for a production deployment as your users are defined in the SQL authenticator.

In the file jazn-"Data.xml", you define your roles from application level to protect your resources from the app (pages/task flow), then match your business roles that will subsequently come from your SQLAuthenticator.

Then, the SQLAuthenticator when running on the server defines the users, passwords and what roles the company, the user has been assigned.

So at run time when the user attempts to access a secure resource, say with the application role has which maps to the role of company B, ADF application WLS to ask the SQLAuthenticator of the current user's role of company B. Yes, they get access, no, they get an error.

I suggest that you only consider multiple security videos available through the Oracle ADF Insider Web site:

8 win there a way. 1. move the cursor to the top right of the screen

  • Setting security using the dimensions of the attribute & UDA

    Hi all

We have a fairly unique requirement which we are struggling to implement searching around the planning documentation, forums, etc., but I hope that someone here has come across and successfully implemented.

Ideally, we would like to the next of Essbase filter to implement in our planning application:

WRITING: (@IDES (CostCentre) AND @ATTRIBUTE (Active), @ATTRIBUTE (Enabled), (@UDA(Account,Open) AND @UDA (Account, ExternalAcct))
    NONE: @IDES (Account), @IDES (CostCentre), @IDES (AnalysisCode)

We cannot find a way to implement this filter in planning as there doesn't seem to be an easy way to assign access to a combination of 2\more dimensions.

    My questions are the following:
1 can be implemented this definition of the filter in the planning?
    2. If Yes, what is the best way to apply this filter?

    Thanks to a bouquet.
    JBM

    Hello

It looks like a cell-level security, and it is not supported by planning.

  • Security of the ADF

    Hi all

We have a SignIn page in our application for the authentication of the user and all components. In the ADF - config.xml, I have the following Setup

authorizationEnforce = "false" authenticationRequire = "true".

but I was redirected to the main home page (the page will be sent after a successful authentication) without any authentication. Although I put authenticationRequire = 'true '.

However, if I set the URL scheme as ' / ' in the security constraint. It opens the SignIn page. However, the images were not properly?

When the ADF security is enabled, i.e. when the two indicators of authentication/authorization in afc - config.xml are enabled, it works correctly.

    Please help us.

    Hello

However, if I set the URL scheme as ' / ' in the security constraint. It opens the SignIn page.

That's what the assistants of ADF Security adds by default when you select authentication only because there is no authorization, leading to a delayed authentication

However, the images were not properly?

This is because "/" protects all files under the root of Java EE. To change this, change the constraint "/" for authentication *.jspx (or *.jsp If you are using this as a file extension). In this case the images are excluded from security

(Note that it is not here ADF security, but the security of web applications in Java EE)

When the ADF security is enabled, i.e. when the two indicators of authentication/authorization in afc - config.xml are enabled, it works correctly.

This is because the permission is not applied on the level of path (your path of the application root) context Java EE

  • ADF security with identification details & role of database table

    Dear experts,

I have developed web applications by ADF with JDeveloper 12.1.3.0.0

I want to apply the ADF security for authentication and authorization process.

I mentioned several blogs that associated with example ADF security with the database table, but unfortunately I couldn't reach my task of them because all the blogs that make reference to the roles of username, passwords, and user to hardcode.

In my web application, there are 3 database table (users, roles, User_Role).

A user can have one or more roles.

I was able to accomplish this task using spring-mvc + Hibernate + sprig security. Its code of even below.

    <>Authentication Manager

    <>authentication provider

    < jdbc-user-service data-source-ref = "dataSource".

users by name of user-query =

"username, password, enabled users to select where username =?"

    authorities-by-name of user-query =

    "" Select username, role of user_roles where username =? ". / >

    < / authentication provider >

    < / authentication manager >

Pls guide me to solve this problem.

    Thank you

    Mauricette

User, your question is not clear. You have implemented the safety with the spring? So, what's your question?

The ADF security can be combined with a sql authentificator that reads users and roles of the DB tables. See Java / Oracle SOA blog: the use of tables of database as in WebLogic authentication provider and anything on the Fusion Middleware: Tables of database user to implement authentication in ADF and http://soadev.blogspot.de/2010/04/sqlauthenticator-simply-best.html.

All of these solutions do not use users coded hard and rolls.

    Timo

    TABLESPACE 'USERS ';

    CREATE TABLE "TWO"

    (

ACTIVATE THE 'ID' NUMBER NOT NULL,

ACTIVATE THE "SERIAL" VARCHAR2 (5 BYTE) NOT NULL,

ACTIVATE THE "DEGREE_CODE" VARCHAR2 (10 BYTE) NOT NULL,

    'TEST_NAME' VARCHAR2 (20 BYTE),

ACTIVATE THE KEY PRIMARY CONSTRAINT 'PK_TWO' ('ID', 'SERIAL'),

"FK_TWO' FOREIGN KEY ('ID', 'DEGREE_CODE') CONSTRAINT REFERS TO 'ONE' ('ID', 'SERIAL') MAYBE DEFERRED ENABLE

    )

    TABLESPACE 'USERS ';

If we use the above sql scripts to create the tables and create the ADF BC using the above 2 tables, all 4 columns in table 2 are reported as the primary key.

User, tell us your version of Jdev, please!

You should file an SR with support.oracle.com for this.

As a work around you can change the area of occurrence, and remove the check mark key pirmary on the unwanted columns. After that, it should work.

  • Adobe CS5 uninstall - reinstall on the same computer without using the last instructions of activation code?

I'm on a MacBook Pro with OS X Yosemite. Computer has been completely cleaned, stored, updated, no problem other than my Adobe CS5 software will not work. Photoshop, if I'm lucky that it will download, but a few minutes of the crash using. InDesign won't open at all. Illustrator, does not open. Flash, none open - help from Adobe will not update because it says a file is corrupted etc etc etc etc. I have my original disks with serial numbers to reinstall the software. All I want to know is how to properly uninstall all the software on my computer and reinstall on the same computer without using my second activation code. I can't seem to find clear, concise, simple instructions for this process. "Disable" something before I have uninstall? Where should I go for it? What should I do once I have disabled everything I'm supposed to deactivate and uninstall the software, then reinstall? I must return to some site to reactivate whatever it is I'm reactive? I don't want to use my second activation code. That's all. Why customer comes from say the quick simple solution by phone beggars belief. Yes. I am quite aware that it is old software. But it's your Adobe software. Support me. Because when you do not have, I have to post negative passive-aggressive messages like that on a forum online so that everyone can see. I'm sure that you have all of the embarrassment of opportunity as you read this. But I just want to assure that I do what I'm supposed to do without screwing anything other than it already is. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Uninstall using the own uninstaller from adobe by the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems, restart your computer and reinstall.

p.s. I'm not an adobe employee and these forums are user forums.

  • ADF/authentication to connect using the security of ADF (with Page of custom Login)

    Hi all!

I am trying to achieve a simple project where I need my Application users to open a session before access to these pages in the application.

I found some tutorials, but most of them manually added user security, and I need them to be ONLY on the database, because I use a Web service to retrieve the data.

    Here is my business needs:

    • Create a custom Login page, requesting identification by name of user and password information
    • Extract data using the Webservice (this part is done)
    • If the data matches a Session must be opened.
    • Some data user as username, preferences... must be registered on a SessionBean
    • The session must be opened up to disconnection of the user or the timeout.

Any tips/advice on how to set up the login page and follow the data Session and status?

    PS: Using jdev 12 c

    Best regards

    Luis Cabaco

You can enable the ADF security in your application and configure the authenticator RDBMS on WLS.

For the custom login page, see: https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/adf/develop/adf-web-securing.htm#ADFFD2008
