Adhoc activation of Proxy of the OSB for DB on election

Hi guys,.

How to enable the proxy of the OSB on an ad hoc basis in the amount of time that is out of the polling interval? Assume that if I have a proxy that queries DB for all 60 minutes for new records and if I have records within 30 minutes after the last polling cycle, how I invoke the proxy such that it queries immediately for new records.

Please let me know.

Hello

I do not think that that is supported in OSB... If you modelled as a poller db you will have to wait for the next survey cycle... If you need this feature, you may need to rethink accordingly...

See you soon,.

  • Calculation script of the OSB for exchange rates - shared members

    Hello together,

    Happy new year!!!

    I need your help with a BSO calculation script in the exchange rate.

    Here you can see how the entity & currency hierarchies are made up:

    Hierarchy of the entity

    Hierarchie1 (element Stored, EUR) - all children are only once in the hierarchy.

    H1Parent1 (stored element, EUR)

    H1P1Child1 (stored element, EUR)

    H1P1Child2 (stored element, EUR)

    H1Parent2 (stored element, SEK)

    H1P2Child1 (stored element, SEK)

    H1P2Child2 (stored element, SEK)

    Hierarchie2 (Stored item, EUR) - the child might be several times in this hierarchy!

    H2Parent1 (stored element, USD)

    H1Parent1 (element Shared, EUR)

    H1Parent2 (element Shared, SEK)

    H2Parent2 (stored element, CAD)

    H1Parent2 (element Shared, SEK)

    H1P1Child1 (element Shared, EUR)

    Hierarchy of currencies

    Local currency

    EUR

    USD

    SEK

    CAD

    Reported (group currency)

    Euro

    Parent currency

    EUR_USD

    EUR_CAD

    EUR_SEK

    First script:

    For the exchange rate of the national currency in euro (1 hierarchy), it was very easy because I could give each level-0-member of an attribute (UDA) for the currency. So it's pretty easy to create a script for all the members-0-level ((DEV) duration: 12 minutes)

    'Euro')

    IF (@ISUDA ("Accounts", "AR"))

    IF (@ISUDA ("Entities", "heart")) 'Euro ' is' EUR '.

    "Else if (@ISUDA ("entities","cAED")) 'Euro' = (@SUMRange ("AED","January": & CurrMonth)) /"AED"-> Average_Rate;

    ENDIF

    ENDIF);

    Second script - Part1:

    But for the second hierarchy (hierarchy 2) I have the problem that there are a lot of shared items and I can't give them an obvious UDA in which I can calculate the currency ((DEV) duration: 12 minutes).

    ("Parent currency"

    IF (@ISUDA ("Accounts", "AR"))

    IF (@ISMBR (@RDescendants("H2Parent1",0))) 'Euro_USD' = (@SUMRange ("Euro", "January": "January")) * "USD"-> "Average_Rate";

    ElseIf (@ISMBR (@RDescendants("H2Parent2",0))) 'Euro_CAD' = (@SUMRange ("Euro", "January": "January")) * "CAD"-> "Average_Rate";

    ENDIF

    ENDIF);

    Second script - Part2:

    This formula works, but it is very slow, because I have several fixes. (Duration (DEV): round about 1 h)

    FIX (@RDescendants("H2Parent1",0))

    ("Parent currency"

    IF (@ISUDA ("Accounts", "AR")) "Euro_USD" = (@SUMRange("Euro","January":"January")) * «USD»-> «Average_Rate»;)

    ElseIf (("Accounts", "CR") @ISUDA) "Euro_USD" = (@SUMRange("euro","January":"January")) * «USD»-> «Closing_Rate»;)

    ENDIF);

    ENDFIX

    You have an idea how I can improve my second calculation script in a dynamic and efficient?

    I hope that I have described my problem very well.

    Thanks a lot for your help

    Ben

    change "Motto of Parent" to "Euro_USD" would not make a difference if the hierarchy of currencies is Sparse

    I'll try to make the dense hierarchy of currencies as long as it does not have the size of your too big block. If make you it dense AND change "motto of Parent' to 'Euro_USD', it must increase the speed a lot.  However to change the size of Sparse to Dense is a very big change for the database.

  • Question about the OSB proxy service

    Hello

    I'm new to the world of SOA/OSB. I'm working on a POC from the OSB for our existing application. I have a question about the definition of the URL endpoint to the proxy service. It is possible to specify a generic url endpoint to a proxy service. Something like / SomeService / *. I tried and got errors. Is it possible to do somethig like that or it is a mistake on a conceptual level.

    Thank you

    anything you type in the uri of the endpoint of entry will be the contextroot to your service, so /SomeService should indeed be sufficient or as mentioned Pierluigi/SomeService/blabla is also valid (Betty is not a parameter query, but only a part of the contextroot)

    If you want to use a service like http rest

    / SomeService/blabla would still be the contextroot, and after that, you can use the query parameters

    / SomeService/badarou? var1 = test & var2 = test or/SomeService/blabla/employee/id/1

  • Activation of Windows 7 after the failure of the HDD for gift

    Hello

    I have an old Dell Precision M70 I work to clean up to make a donation.  The laptop came with Windows XP, and I've upgraded to Windows 7.  I ran a utility to clean the hard drive boot and Nuke and thrown in my Windows 7 Upgrade disk.  I was surprised to see that it is installed, however, the activation key for Windows 7 Upgrade is not be accepted as a valid key.  I understand that it is a key to upgrade, but is it possible to validate anyway?

    I could give it's feel bad to do.  I would like to put this machine in fully functional form, but did not know that my upgrade product key should be rejected when I started.  I have a second laptop I had intend to do the same thing with, but don't have the key of the original product.

    Any advice on how to solve this key activation debacle would be greatly appreciated.  I would hate for my two licenses to upgrade Windows 7 will now be useless because I don't have the original XP Activation keys.  Never did.

    Thanks in advance for your consideration,

    Jim

    Skip entering your product key Windows 7 and complete the installation.

    When you reach the desktop, click Start, right-click on computer

    Click on properties

    Scroll down to the Windows Activation

    Click the link x days before activation.

    Click on the link that says: "show me other ways to activate.

    Enter the product key

    Click next

    Select the Activation of the phone

    Click Next when you enter your key page

    Select your country

    Click Next, call the number listed

    Be sure to explain your situation to the Appeals Officer.

    Provide the installation generated when ID requested by the call agent

    They give a confirmation ID in return, enter it

    Click next to complete the activation.

    However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

    15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

    So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  • Expose the service as a Web service proxy using the sb Protocol

    Hello world.

    My team and I worked on a project of integration between multiple applications. So we created all the OSB projects necessary to connect applications and now I'm working on a web application that reads several newspapers who leave these integrations in the database in order to watch what happens when they are executed. Right now, I need my web application to be able to reprocess or retry messages that present a problem or are in an error state.

    To this end, we have developed a proxy with a sb protocol that allow us to communicate with other services dynamic proxy just in him passing the name of the proxy, its functioning and the message of the body. And finally, here's my question for you guys.

    How do I expose this last proxy (with the sb Protocol) as a web service so I can consume it for action to reprocess/try again?

    Thank you.

    Don't think that you need a Proxy service with SB Protocol at all. As I understand it, your process will be like this:

    1 web app bed DB logs to see what documents need to be submitted again

    2. web App must call OSB to resubmit the log message to correct the proxy.

    What you can do is create a WSDL based proxy HTTP to OSB for a new presentation, Web application must call this proxy and passes the body, the name of the target (full path) service, target service type HTTP (Proxy or Business), target the operation name (optional, like e-mail or type XML services everything will not associated with surgery). You can add a dynamic routing node in the HTTP proxy that calls the proxy target based on information coming from the Web App.

    SB Protocol should be used in a Proxy service if you want to call a Proxy deployed in a single domain of OSB on another area of OSB or composites Oracle SOA. Here, the consumer will be the Web application, so it needs to be a HTTP proxy and not SB.

    P.S.: You should also consider sending transport/custom headers as well, not only the body for your new design be more reusable.

  • Create the resource (WSDL) URL through proxy of the company?

    OSB, I create a resource from a URL (WSDL) but I'm getting a "no resource found.

    I'm using this service to test...
    http://webservicex.NET/StockQuote.asmx?WSDL

    I suspect its because he needs route although our company proxy. Can I set this up in the Console of Administration Weblogic or OSB?

    I set the proxy in the OSB, but it seems that I can only assign to a business service at this point, but I can't create my business until I load in the WSDL url.

    This works very well for inside WSDL inside our network. Do anyone know how to configure weblogic or VSOs to take traffic through a proxy company so we can find the wsdl for test on an external network?

    Thank you!

    Hi Cory,.

    SB Console go to System Administration > global resources > Proxy servers... Add a new proxy server here...

    Your Business Service, you configure the proxy under Advanced Configuration of Transport HTTP server...

    You can create file WSDL on Console SB by copying and pasting the content of the WSDL...

    I hope this helps...

    See you soon,.

  • Server of the OSB

    Hello

    is there a way that I can have more control on the server of the OSB. for example; can I use the same server admin, rather than create another one (osb_server1).

    When creating domain, check required for example models OSB, and we you reach the settings of managed servers remove the managed server OSB. Then you have everything on the administration server only.

  • Basic authentication for the OSB exposed as a Rest Service

    Hi all

    We expose OSB Service as a Rest Service to the customer. Need to add basic for the client authentication. In the HTTP transport Service proxy, we have enabled basic authentication. However, we do not know how to proceed. We want to take care of the authentication section in the BSO it itself, so what should be our next step for her? How to extract the authentication information for the request and where to add the check? Is there an easy way to integrate with authentication AD in OSB?

    Hello

    OSB will do authentication for you, no need to make something of yourself. Just move the radiobutton control to basic authentication. It uses the Weblogic domain in the to do. OSB will get the name of user and password of the authentication HTTP header property and validate it against weblogic. If weblogic confirms as a name of user and password valid, OSB running the proxy. Any valid user in weblogic will do, there is no authorization: so no way to limit to a specific user. This means that to connect to AD you must configure using Weblogic. In the field of weblogic, you can add any AD or any LDAP as authenticator.

    With the help of its also possible to validate on a particular user using the UserToken GOSA strategy. You can also use GOSA do BasicAuthentication by applying the specific policy. But GOSA only supports basic over SSL authentication, not simple basic authentication.

    By the way: for BA on a Business Service: you must create a ServiceAccount object with the specific user name password and assign to specific BusinessService. You can create a surveillance society by environment, each in a particular folder of dev/test/ACC/prod. Then use a customization file to switch between them.

  • Message access control in the OSB proxy service when the Service Type is the Any SOAP Service

    Hello

    We have a proxy OSB service where the Service Type is 'no matter what SOAP Service'. We use Auth.xml to authenticate messages to achieve this proxy service.

    It is, ca we apply Message this proxy access control so that only user A is allowed to sent message has and only user B is allowed to message sent B?

    Us know if the proxy OSB service is based on a wsdl, then we can apply access control message for each operation in the Security tab - and thus specify which user can access the operation. But unfortunately, we have not a wsdl, because this service proxy is a proxy gateway and must accept any SOAP message reaches.

    For example, if the user name in the SOAP header is msgAUser, get is accepted.

    < / soapenv:Envelope >

    Any suggestions please?

    Understood.

    My current client, we have faced the same problem and implemented a similar design which nevertheless has important benefits.

    The problem with proxy input all SOAP is not only in the complexities of authentication. Most important, resources fine grain (thread) management becomes impossible: proxy entry has a workmanager, one constraint of son max. If any single service behind entered proxy knows an influx of requests (because of a peak or a misconfigured customer), he eats the workmanager dry and the rest of the services become too inadmissible.

    In this spirit, we have implemented the following diagram. It's a little more complicated, but it serves us well for a few years already:

    EntryProxy 1-> Interceptor entering Proxy-> Proxy 1

    EntryProxy 2-> Interceptor entering Proxy-> Proxy 2

    ...

    Enter proxy doesn't do Nothing but shall forward the request for interception of incoming traffic. Power of Attorney of the entry, however, has its own WSDL, authentication and the workmanager which allows precise control.

    Another important aspect of a proxy of the entry, it is that it passes a custom header containing the name of the destination of the interceptor, e.g. TargetURI = "ProxyService/Paypal/Paypal.

    Incoming Interceptor Proxy performs all recording, the error handling and other common tasks.

    Then, according to the last header, the proxy of the interceptor makes a dynamic call to route to the specified destination.

    Yes, this design has an additional moving part - a proxy entry - but he a) works b) guard control all in our hands. The entry proxy is a very small point; When I need to make a new one, I just copy an existing one and replace the WSDL file and the value of the TargetURI - 30 seconds of work.

    Hope that helps.

  • The OSB distributed queue proxy configuration

    I implemented a distributed WeblogicServer queue and I wonder how can I configure proxy OSB to consume her JMS messages. I have read the documentation on the Oracle website, and he told a group of distributed queues a bunch of local JMS queues in different servers which can be accesed through a JNDI name. This failover and load to provide balance to put in the queue of messages.
    The BSO a JMS destination proxy is configured with the following URL: jms://server:port / destination. So if I have a distributed queue that maps to two JMS, what server and port servers do I set proxy URL? Do I need to configure two different agents and one for JMS server1 to server2 JMS?

    Kind regards

    CCI

    For weblogic JMS, producer of message load balancing happens in 3 different places.

    1. to search for initial context - it depends on the URI that you specify in the call for Initial context. for example if you specify t3: / / localhost:7002, localhost:7003, all research context occur on port 7002. Port 7003 is used only if 7002 is out of service. So this supports the failover instead of the load balancing. If you want the load balancer for executive search, then you must use a dns based address dns cluster where the name to a resolution address different every time.

    2 - when a jms connection is created. The jms connection can be created with any managed server to which the connection factory caters to the. So, you can have your search for context on 7002, but real jms connection can get created on 7003. If the server affinity is enabled for the connection factory and then the jms connection will be created to the same server instance managed that in search of context that's happened.

    3 - when a message send a producer is run. Send message can land on any member of the cluster dd if NLB is enabled. If the server affinity is enabled, then the message will end up on dd members on the same instance of the server to which the jms connection has been made. For example suppose you have your jms client application has a connection to jms on ms1 and product message ends up on top of ms2, then the following path would have been taken.

    JMS client app - via jms---> ms1 - in-house connection transmits---> ms2 - message puts---> dd2

    I recommend you read the chapter JMS the book professional Oracle Weblogic Server where it is explained clearly.

  • is there any function in the osb to generate a unique number in proxy

    is there any function in the osb to generate a unique number in proxy

    FN - bea: uuid()

    The function fn - bea: uuid() returns a universal unique identifier. The function has the following signature:

    FN - bea: uuid() as XS: String

    You can use this function in the pipeline of proxy to generate a unique identifier. You can insert the unique identifier that is generated in an XML document in the form of element. You are unable to generate a unique identifier to the system variable. You can use this to edit a message payload.

    For example, suppose you want to generate a unique identifier to add it to a message for follow-up purposes. You can use this function to generate a unique identifier. The function returns a string that you can add it to the SOAP header.

  • using weblogic unit-of-order (PUA) in the osb proxy service

    Hello

    I have a deployed on Weblogic server JMS queue. The messages in the queue are grouped using Weblogic JMS_BEA_Unit-of-order (PUA).

    Now, I have an OSB 10 g of Proxy Service that reads messages from the queue. The problem is, upon receipt of a message, acknowledgement of receipt is sent immediately, thus eliminating the message from the queue and the next with the same unit-Of-Order message is ready for processing.

    But the business scenario is the first message to read, processed and then decide to recognise or not. The second message should not be interpreted, unless the previous message is processed successfully.

    Can someone help with this scenario?

    Thank you
    Alex

    with PUA, you'll need to do the syschronous transaction.
    1. make transacation enable XA
    2 using the road for the sychrounous transaction
    3. use the routing options, and then select mode = request-respone
    4. If the Proxy service is based on the jms then you should also together WHAT JMS Transport-> Advance settings-> XA is required-> checked
