adjustment of the curve

Hello! I would like to ask how do I adjust a curve and see in the graph for the obtained 2d array.

I can get a table 2d (XY) due to the iteration of the loop by clicking on the button "Next step" for 14 times. After that, I want to get a curve for this 2d table according to y.

Also, I want to see the formula and also function of coefficients for this curve.

I tried a curve as shown in the attached photo. There is, however, always. I can't get a curve of XY (y = f (x)) purely. Also, I have attached the sample VI. Could someone help me? I am looking forward to hear from you.

    Hi coop Mac,.

Is that what you are looking for? Click on the series, then Format Panel > series > Trendline.

The best graph I find for this is the Scatter Plot.

  • Why are the curves "reversed" after the conversion to grayscale ACR?

I have the version of Photoshop CS5 12.0.1.  If I do a conversion to grayscale in Adobe Camera Raw, and then open the image in Photoshop and add a curves adjustment layer, the curve is the 'bad' round sense with the white dot on the left of the curves graph, while the black point is located on the right. However if I add a levels adjustment layer, the graph of levels is as it is usually the black dot to the left and the white point right there.

If I open the image in ACR in color without making a conversion to grayscale, the curves layer is also as expected - black point to white point and left to right.  Can someone explain why it is reversed after a grayscale conversion in ACR?

    Thank you

It's a good question; the default value for grayscale images seems to be Pigment/Ink% instead of light, leading to the "recovery" you describe.

The good news is that the default is separate for color images and black and white, and sticky, so you can change it around this way:

    1. click on the button menu bit in the upper right of the Panel and choose the curve Display Options.

    2. change the view the amount of: setting of Pigment Ink % to light (0-255).

    I hope this helps.

  • Adjustment of the non-linear curve - maximum iterations exceeded (error-23026)

    Hello

In my application, I use the curve non-linear adjustment VI (Levenberg-Marquardt) to adapt the data acquired continuously using a task DAQmx. Often in the course of the implementation of the instrument, the curves are not yet "adaptable" and max iterations set in the parameters of expiration is reached.

It's OK but the problem is that it generates an error (-23026) that stops the execution of the VI.

How can I ignore this error and continue to run the VI until the termination is controlled by the setting of tolerance?

    Kind regards

  • Hi I need to know how to expand the curves adjustment Panel. For example, the curves that I need to enlarge the graphic part, so I could show on a screen at the school. Thanks, Phil

Hi I need to know how to expand the curves adjustment Panel. For example, I need to enlarge the graphic part so that I can view on a screen at the school and work from this Panel to expand. Thanks, Phil

You can not. At least, not directly Ben Photoshop. For example, this can be done in Gimp and Photoline, and I had hoped that developers of Photoshop team would have done this allowance now. But no, we're still stuck with a tiny curved panel, which is a real shame, because in other applications, the user can be more precise with the curves.

If you don't need to show close-ups during class time, use Zoomit in Windows, or turn on the Magnifier in the accessibility on a Mac option.

  • Pipette in the curve adjustment dialog box average pixels, so the color balance is watered.

    Hi all.

When you use the pipette to set the points black and white pixels of an image in the dialog box curve setting, I found that it seems not middle of the neighbouring pixels or provide a way to select a value "monochrome".  Thus, the color balance is still impaired and is thrown way if you happen to choose a noisy pixel (for example).

I expect that there is an option to set the size of the sampling for the pipette area, but I don't see one.  I have considered making the monochrome image, defining curves, save them as a preset, and then reload the image color and apply the preset (if she does not leave me); but this seems heavy and hokey.  What is the usual procedure to adjust the tone curve of the image without changing its color balance?

    Thanks for any idea.

When you select an eyedropper in the curves adjustment dialog box, you went to the eyedropper tool.

You then set the sample in the Options bar.

In the curves adjustment layer, any pipette also has sample settings in the Options bar.

  • Why the curves adjustment, often in front of which layer is the standard?

When I do a PS CC2015 curves adjustment layer often the graph is opposite, so to make an image, I have to make the curve rises and light, have to go down.  Why it does this?

It's driving me crazy and looks odd and makes me think that I work badly.

In the curves adjustment layer properties click on the upper right. In the drop-down menu, choose Display Options of the curves where light vs Pigmentf/ink radio buttons control the meaning of the scales of the layer of setting the tone.

  • Samplers colour - dark, clear & grey point - how to adjust the curves

    Hi all

I set myself dark, light & gray point in an image. Ask yourself how to adjust the curves based on the color samplers. I manually call the dialog box curve and select the dark feather and choose sampler no1, select cast and select no2 sampler, select gray feather and choose sampler no3. No idea how this can be done in the script?

OK, I see one of the problems, and you noticed yourself, you just did not understand what is happening.  When using the pipettes in the curves Panel it does not matter if you use the black or white pipette first. You can set the white point and black point or reverse that order and you get the same curve. What is important is when you use the grey eyedropper. That should be used when both the white and black point has been resolved. If you set gray in the Middle, he gets thrown when you set the last point and you get the same curve, if you simply ignored the gray point total. In other words, if you do not set the last gray point said you in effect it at all.

Notice in your video when you click on the sampler on the neck that the image is very cyan. It is only when you click the last sampler that color refers to something more normal. You can see the same thing in looking at just the curves. By clicking on the neck creates curves with long arcs. By clicking on the last sampler transformed into lines between the white and black point (because the gray point is deleted)

Which brings back us to where the sampler are placed make a big difference. Skin tone is not when you want to set the gray point. I think you are using the mask of the luminance to calm the adjustment because the black and white points are also misplaced. The color of the blackhead is within 20 years. I think a better place would be under the jaw on the right side of the neck. Indeed, this region is already 0,0,0 so I would not put a black dot. The white Sampler is in 230 years. Parameter to white clips many of the wall at the top left.

  • Change of the pipette in the curves adjustment layer

In versions previous of the PS when you opened a curves adjustment layer, hovered over the image, the cursor was a dropper, and when you pressed the mouse button a point appears on the curve showing the wherever the task on the image fell on the curve.  I used a lot.

In CS4 that the pipette has been replaced by the line of sight (plus sign?), and when you click on a location in the image, nothing happens.   How to bring back the former function?

Always available, but with different commands.  Here is a link that describes in detail.

  • Adjustment of the non-linear curve Lev - Mar ignores entry model

I use the curves of Lev - nonlinear Mar made to fit two of the data in the same VI.  However, the second time I call the Lev. VI - Mar, it ignores the model and continues to use the first model.  When I run Lev - Mar outside my VI, it can adapt to these two sets of data correctly using two different models.  How can I get the VI to use the correct model of the second time I called in my VI?

I'm using Labview 8.0 on windows XP.

The VI itself is not protected by, but it is part of a library passworded, indirectly blocking the operation.

You can still select all the code and copy it into a new VI, the hook upwards all connectors.

You can also browse the VI Explorer and copy it. The copy of the give a new name, open it and log out of the library (File menu) to fix the broken arrow.

I think you can also change the original in place and press "Save". It does not have a password and will overwrite the existing VI. Don't make any mistakes here!

  • Adjustment of the integral of a Gaussian

    Hello

I have LabView 2013 I'm trying to curve adjusted using the non-linear curve Lev - Mar vi but are unsure how to proceed. From what I understand, you can create a user defined model in the string, but the help files only detail a the second order polynomial of the form a1 + a2 * x + a3 * x ^ 2.

I have the intensity of the reflection of the laser on a sample of data, and when the laser moves on the metal marker intensity increases. The metal marker has a beginning of knife edge and increase intensity moving on the marker shows Gaussian beam shape and intensity profile can be described using the integral of the Gaussian shape.

Sorry if this problem has been posted before, but I can't see it in the forums in general pretty average I can understand as a new user. I basically want to model defined by the user of the integral of a Gaussian type and feed my data in the form (x i) and give it me the coefficients I can take the center point as the tip of the marker position.

    Thank you

    Paul.

OK, I have a comment on the Code and comment on the data.  First, the code.  You use a 'chain of the formula', which means that you ask LabVIEW to claim that it is Matlab and can 'interpret' a channel to follow the instructions as you want.  It would surprise me a lot if it worked, especially with something other than the simple polynomials.  Since it is LabVIEW () and write a VI to calculate F(x, a) and explicitly put in the square root and the erf functions you need.

In looking at the data, I confess that I don't know what you're trying to mount.  I see a number of pulses noisy square wave what-look-like in X and Y, there does not at the same time.  I'm guessing that you are interested in fitting something in the transition - why not seek 'big first derivatives' and she (for example), find the middle between high and low?  If you need more sophisticated features of fitting, you could at least narrow down the set of data that you send to your function of fitting to include a small subset of points surrounding the transition.

  • Analysis of the curves of the form

Hello all, I'm very hard in adjust the data on the readings that I have a traction machine, the plot is attached and also text data. What I'm trying to do is to calculate the area under the curve at each position of displacement intervals (x-axis) ex from 2.3 mm to 15 mm. The first column in the text file will be moving (mm) and the second column is defined as the Force (N), the shape of the curve is uneven (jpeg file). I tried various tools such as integrated digital, least square adjustment, etc. but still do not have reliable results. Anyone here have an idea on how to perform the analysis, I am concerned of?

    Please give me advice!

Suppose you have a set of X {1.5, 3, 4, 5.5, 7} data points.  They are unevenly spaced.  You get a value of X of beginning and end of your cursor over the graph.  The starting value is 2.5 and end value, 4.5 since the sliders.  You should now find it what index your points to start with.  2.5 is between 1.5 and 3 indices 0 and 1 in your table of X.  Similarly, 4.5 is between 4 and 5.5, indexes 2 and 3 in your table.  You need a function to determine the fractional value given a table index.  Our first point, 2.5, a index fractional 0.67 since it is two thirds of the way between index 0 and index 1 point.  Similarly, the endpoint is fractional index 2.67 since it is two thirds of the path between the indices 2 and 3.  Table 1 d threshold function gives you this fractional index.  Your full X array is the entry level.  The X value of your sliders corresponds to the threshold entry.  The output will be the fractional index.  To use it, you must convert any integer.  To do this, you must decide if you want to round the fractional index upwards, downwards or to the nearest whole number.  You can use the three primitives rounded in the digital palette to make one of these.  Once you have your clues, use the primitive subset of the range of tables table to get the parts of the matrices X and Y (two operations of subset) for integration.  Then use the integration routine that I mentioned above.

  • Sampling frequency of adjustment for the analog output of sine

    Hello

I tried to do something very simple: using an analog output card PCI 6221 to produce a frequency 50 Hz sine curve. For this I used a Vi to create a curve sinus and different screws DAQmx. But I have trouble understanding the principle of virtual channel and I think I do an error of adjustment of the sampling frequency and number of samples: once for the vi, second time sine "DAQmx - synchronization. Can I use the same values for both of these screws?

On my oscilloscope, with frequency = 50 Hz and the sampling frequency = 1 kHz, I get a null signal. Then according to two values, I'm differently evaluated signals. For example, with f = 1 Hz and sr = 10 kHz, a frequency 0.7 Hz sinus.

Make sure that the start for the analog input task occurs after the analog output.  By plugging in the wrong thread to an analogue output start task first, and then to the start task, you guarantee that the AI cannot start until after the startup of the AO.
