  • HP Envy 120 all-in-one: name and password on the server integrated HP Web Page

I have a HP Envy 120. I try to connect to the HP Envy 120 page which I think is either associated with HP Connect or the integrated Web server. The page displays the tabs Scan/Home/Web Services/Network/Tools/Settings. I'm trying to change the settings for scanning this page, but the security system asks to connect you. I don't remember putting in place of a name or a password, if I can find a password on the printer itself.  Even if it's the password to use it always leaves me with the question of the name.

    Can someone please advise?

    Hello:

You need the driver for the base system device JMicron card reader.

The media JMicron card reader driver allows the card slot multimedia integrated in the laptop models running a supported operating system.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp63637.exe

This would be the only issue that I can help you.

You need to contact HP technical support to get a sort of BIOS file they will send you to unlock the BIOS P / w.

I forgot what they call it.  Explain the situation... you need to unlock/reset the BIOS password you forgot.

There is a history tab of revision on the file of the mouse driver that displays the newer versions you may want to try...

  • How do reset us the Web integrated (built-in web server) server on our Pro Wireless 8500 A909g printers?

We try to remotely administer printers HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909g Wireless

    M/N: CB023A

They print and scan very well, and we can access the home page of each printer EWS.

We have been asked to make a few changes and cannot go beyond the EWS username and password authentication request.

In my view, it has been defined by a previous administrator, but him documented names of user and password we have on file do not work.

How do reset us the EWS password?

I have the default value is EMPTY, but if not, that would be the default password after reset?

    SOLVED!

Then I got a job to another printer HP OfficeJet 8 X 00-

All you have to do is RESTORE network defaults on the front control panel - this will reset the default value:

    (1) requirement for access password turned OFF

    (2) default user name is ADMIN

    (3) password is EMPTY

then, on command before Panel set your IP network information, and you will then be able to access the built-in Web server and see all / manage all settings, including resetting the password to the web server integrated EWS.

My CD drive on my Dell 2400 appears disabled (on Admin Managemnt yellow exclamation point) as this is my plugin dvd recordr/cd player recorder. How can I fix? Thank you

Locate your CD drive integrated in the device list manager.

Do a right click on it, it should appear a window with "Disable"... 'Enable '.

    Click Activate.

It is a possibility, the other is...

The fact that you are also using EXTERNAL units could be the 'reason' why one integrated disabled to start with.

The USB in the BIOS setting must be wrong... to do this.

In addition, the "HALT ON...» ' Command, in the BIOS, will not. (It is possible that the "Halt" command is... ON "ALL ERRORS").

    Assign to this... "WITHOUT ERRORS".

This should cure the problem of USB connection (for external use) disable your "built-in" CD player

  • Tweak UI 2.1 changed the XP admin password

Me I ran Tweak UI 2.1 and somehow an admin password and now I'm completely locked down with no other user profiles to get even on the menu 'start '. Any ideas?

Probably use you TweakUI to put in place logon automatically and entered the wrong password, your account, or the wrong account. Login to the administrator account integrated, safe mode (assuming you have XP Home) and cancel whatever it was you did. If you don't have XP Home but have Pro/Media Center instead, so you don't need to go to Safe Mode. Just do Ctrl-Alt-Del to the Welcome screen to get the classic logon box. Use "Administrator" (without the quotes) and enter the actual password or, if you do not assign a password, leave this field blank. If you configure an automatic connection, you can also work around this and get to the home screen holding the SHIFT key while you are starting in Windows.

If you have XP Pro or Media Center and use the administrator for your daily work and it is really the single user on the system account (and now you can see why this is not recommended), then all is not lost. Unfortunately, Microsoft does not allow us to tell how, in these forums. Their House, their rules. Hi kimvb,

Thanks for joining the forum to Support HP for a solution to your problem.

I understand that you have a HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer you need to change the network settings on but you can't because it has locked by admin and also, you can not access the Servicer (EWS) Web embedded with the IP address of the printer. I would like to help with that.

There is a stain on the integrated Web server that you can join the admin settings, but if you are unable to access the built-in Web server with the IP address of the printer there is another way may work around this problem.

    Hello

Dell should have drivers and the control software available on their site. Please refresh your
If possible driver and reboot before you load the new driver.

    Dell - drivers

Control Panel - Device Manager - click anywhere in the box of white/white - then VIEW - Show Hidden

Control Panel - Device Manager - click anywhere in the box of white/white - then ACTION - Scan for
Hardware changes. If that detects your camera, then load and restart.

Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.

is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
will update the driver stack. While there or not the USB update, then go to DELL and
Download the latest version of the driver

Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each driver.

  • What is going with my admin account

I am running windows vista with 2 accounts.  My own (Administrator) and younger brothers.  Somehow, windows won't let me not uninstall programs etc. on my admin account, and I owe it to the second account to uninstall programs.  He asks me to type my administrator password.  This seems to be the cause of a lot of problems on the PC and I can't delete the second account because I can't delete something like that connected to admin and of course impossible to delete the second account while I'm connected to it!  How can I resolve this issue?

    Hi MatthewTaylor,

    1. is the second also has an administrator account?

    2. what happens when you try to uninstall programs from your account?

    Step 1:

You can try setting the default Administrator account and check if the problem occurs.

    a. click the Start button, then click all programs followed by accessories

    b. in the menu accessories, click right on the command line option and select'Run as Administrator "."

    c. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked for permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

    d. in the command prompt window, type the command net user administrator / Active: Yes and press ENTER.

    e. close the elevated command prompt.

    f. log (in the Start Menu) and you will see your new administrator integrated next to your current account.

    g. click the photo icon display built-in Administrator account and connect to it.

    Step 2:

If you are not faced with any issue, then check out the following link to correct a corrupted account and check.

    Fix a corrupted user profile:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile

If the problem is resolved, then try to disable the default Administrator of the following account:

NET user administrator / active: No.

    Hope this information helps.

  • I can not connect Admin account

I have problems logging in to my admin account. I can connect to my other accounts very well. I tried to fix it by doing what Zack suggests in this link http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistaperformance/thread/50392398-9143-46c6-9400-238d7d15d192 but it didn't work. Whenever I'm asked to enter my password I enter correctly, the box disappears and the computer does nothing. Can someone help me?

It seems that your computer is infected. Try and allow the built-in Administrator and get that way. If you succeed, do in-depth analyses once in.

If you don't see an icon for the administrator on the homescreen mode safe - if you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [Enter]

Remove the installation DVD and reboot the system in normal Mode. You will see an icon for the administrator on the Welcome screen.

If you do not have a Vista installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair the system Windows Vista (not a system recovery!) in the menu diagnosis. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode. If this isn't the case, you can do a repair file Vista bootable DVD in this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent as muTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. You will need the third burning like Nero, Roxio or free ImgBurn software to burn the image .iso image file, not in the form of data.

After net user, remove the bootable CD and restart the computer. You will now see an icon for administrator on the Welcome screen. Connect to this account.

    Do your analysis:

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Once everything works again, make sure you have a user account administrative extra for tech work (I call usually mine "CompAdmin"). Log in there and disable the administrator built-in again for security reasons.

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

    original title: help please!

I have windows vista on my acer aspire 5517 I changed my admin.password last night and the earlier my husband did a system restore on it. now it tells me wrong password... I don't have a dics in it plese... I need help ASAP

Next time please post in a forum of Vista. This one is for Windows 7. But since you're here:

You can change your password to something that you remember another administrative user account. If you had only an administrative user account and you have forgotten the password, all is not lost. You can then follow the general recommendations for implementing user accounts in Vista that I will give you at the end of this post.

All this requires a certain level of computer skills. You know better and that take the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad place) is the best solution for you.

If you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [press Enter]
NET user [insert here the name of your user account] [insert the new password of user as 1234 here] [press Enter]

[Note: do not enter the brackets!]

Remove the installation DVD and restart the computer. Now, you will be able to connect to your user account by using the password that you set; for example, 1234.

If you do not have a Vista installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair Vista (not a system recovery!) system in the diagnostic menu. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode. Get to this menu by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. If you do not have this option, you can make a bootable Vista file repair DVD in this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need to use third-party burning software such as Nero, Roxio or the free ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com ) to burn the image .iso image file, not in the form of data.

Once you have fixed things, log on to the additional administrative account you will be made by the suggestions below and disable the administrator account integrated yet for security reasons:

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

  • Create an account via a standard account admin

I have Vista Home with two accounts, a one and one other admin account standard. See the profile of my admin account is corrupted and I can only log on my standard account. I want to create another account to replace the admin one, but how can I do this via the standard user account. I can not activate the hidden either Administrator account such that she has always blocked.

You can not. You can enable the built-in Administrator by following the instructions below. Instructions are written generically so not everything can be there, but the methods are the same.

If your single administrative user account is damaged (and that is why only a single user account is A Bad Thing), you will need to log on to the built-in Administrator (disabled by default in Vista) account. From there, you can create a new user account for yourself. In these cases, I prefer not to copy the whole profile to a new way to do not copy the bits corrupt. I prefer a new user account to copy the data (documents, photos, emails, etc.). Here are the instructions to do this. I assumed that you had only an administrative account, then you might want to take a look at the "general recommendations for setting Up user accounts in Vista" at the end of this post.

All this requires a certain level of computer skills. You know better and that take the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad place) is the best solution for you.

System restore - you can try first to do a system restore when things worked. If you had only one user account, then you can either try activating and connecting the built-in Administrator account as described below or start with a Vista installation DVD and do a restore of the system from there. See below for what to do if you do not have an installation DVD.

Activating the built-in administrator - the first thing to do is to see if the administrator account is enabled by going in Mode safe. If there is no account of administrator user on the system, the built-in administrator may become activated it. Go in Safe Mode, press the F8 key as the computer starts. This will get you to the menu diagnosis. Select Safe Mode using the arrow key. If you see an icon for administrator on the Welcome screen, click it. The default password is white. Then go to control panel > user accounts and make changes.

Create a new user account for yourself and by copying data from your damaged to her user account:

    1. you are now connected to the built-in Administrator account. Go to control panel > user accounts and create a new Standard user for your daily work. Let's call it "Sheldon" for this example. Also create an administrator user, called 'CompAdmin' (or 'Tech' or similar).

2 Ouvrezunesession 'Sheldon' once for profile files are created. Now log off 'Sheldon' and 'CompAdmin '. In "CompAdmin", disable the built-in security administrator. Do this from a command prompt:

Start > Search > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator". Provide the password/OK to the UAC prompt. Now, you will get the command prompt. Type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter] and exit the command prompt.

    3. always in 'CompAdmin', you want to open two windows explore side by side. Open computer and navigate to C:\Users\old-corrupted-account. Now, do that again, but navigate to C:\Users\Sheldon. Copy the data from 'old-corrupted-account' on records in 'Sheldon '. Remember your Favorites, bookmarks (if you use Firefox) and by e-mail if you use an email like Windows Mail client.

    4. When you are finished, log in to "Sheldon. All your stuff should be there. When you are sure to have what you need, you can remove the old man-corrupted-account control panel > user accounts.

  • Lockout admin functions totaaly

About 2 weeks ago I logged on my computer and my web browsers would not connect to the internet. I don't think that a big part of it and wanted to delete the user account. But instead I just changed the standard user account and created an account and did the admin. But when I disconnected and later on my computer, I couldn't evaluate the admin at all completely. When I try to download programs or what not the box appears saying that it need authorization from the admin, but I do not give a box to put in the code, or it does not display the ok button as well. Please help me I am in distress

Honestly, it's hard to sort out what happened and what you did, but I urge you to take the computer to a competent local professional. This is not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place. I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but am just be practical based on what you wrote.

If you try and fix it yourself, you probably should allow the built-in Administrator, connect to it and make a thorough analysis of the malware.

    To enable the built-in Administrator:

If you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [press Enter]

[Note: do not enter the brackets!]

Remove the installation DVD and restart the computer. Now, you will see an icon for the administrator on the Welcome screen. To connect to it.

You will need a torrent as muTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD.
