Tweak UI 2.1 changed the XP admin password

Me I ran Tweak UI 2.1 and somehow an admin password and now I'm completely locked down with no other user profiles to get even on the menu 'start '. Any ideas?

Probably use you TweakUI to put in place logon automatically and entered the wrong password, your account, or the wrong account. Login to the administrator account integrated, safe mode (assuming you have XP Home) and cancel whatever it was you did. If you don't have XP Home but have Pro/Media Center instead, so you don't need to go to Safe Mode. Just do Ctrl-Alt-Del to the Welcome screen to get the classic logon box. Use "Administrator" (without the quotes) and enter the actual password or, if you do not assign a password, leave this field blank. If you configure an automatic connection, you can also work around this and get to the home screen holding the SHIFT key while you are starting in Windows.

If you have XP Pro or Media Center and use the administrator for your daily work and it is really the single user on the system account (and now you can see why this is not recommended), then all is not lost. Unfortunately, Microsoft does not allow us to tell how, in these forums. Their House, their rules. Use Google or ask a technician to the local computer (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place).

    Your problem is mainly due to some confusion.

    There is no 'primary' admin account in Windows 7. There are '' integrated '' account called "Administrator". It's still there. You can't create, edit or delete. Adobe technology has not created the it. He simply allowed her.

    You can disable the built-in Administrator account by using the sequence of steps shown below. Before you do, you should create, test, and document an alternative admin account. Why? It's for the same reason that you have a spare key to your House. A lot of people have in diabolical trouble in case something goes wrong with their one and only the account Admin happens all the time. With spare admin account, you are safe.

    1. Log in under your own admin account.
    2. Click the start planet.

    No you can not change it until and unless you follow the documented procedure to reset the password using console.

    However, you can go to t-root shell using the command 'tsh' and set up a new admin account, then log into the VCS GUI admin with new administrator and reset the password for the default Administrator account.

    Check the creantial on each service of VMware and you will notice that it is the SYSTEM.

    So you can change login user and simple password in Windows.

    In addition to what John said, it looks like there may be a minimum age for the password, in translation, that means that you can not change the password until a certain period of time elapsed. To check or change this:
    Log in as an administrator and start the command prompt:
    Start-> Run-> "cmd".
    Type this in the command prompt:
    NET user myusername (enter your specific username in place of "myusername")

    The results should contain a line that says:
    "Editable password
    If this date is in the future, then you have a minimum age of set password.

    While you're at the command prompt, enter the command:
    net accounts

    and search for "password Minimum age (days).  If it is not zero, then you can set it to zero by entering the command:
    NET accounts /MINPWAGE:0

    Open windows control panel, open user accounts, click on the "Change your password" link, enter your current password in the top box and then enter the new password in the two boxes below.  Type in an indicator in the remaining area, then click on the 'Change Password' button.

    All client computers are in the other domain and accessing drives on the part of the domain that I made it through with a one-way trust.

    I am facing a strange behaviour when I start my application form of 11g.

    Forms displays a window asking to enter the user from DB OLD PASSWORD, NEW PASSWORD and CONFIRM the PASSWORD?

    This is a new feature of the forms 11g?

    And how can I disable because end users shouldn't see this kind of messages even if the DB user password expired?

    I have not found anything on Metalink or in the formsweb.cfg on the deactivation of this feature.

    It is the expected behavior.  Oracle Forms connects to the database using Oracle Net (aka SqlNet) connection classic.  When an expired password is detected, forms react to the messages received by the database, which, in this case, is that the password has expired.  If you don't want to see this behavior, change the settings for database expiry is the password.  You might be able to write your own code to login WE could check for every time that this form then begins under the hood, do something, but generally the behavior you see is what I expected.
