Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro registration questions
Hi all
We have a copy of Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro that I've been informed will install on 2 machines.
This has already been installed on 2 machines, but the machines have been scrapped off a couple of years after they went faulty.
When you try the license registry, it says the license is with another machine, can you advise/help how I can clear this decision please?

This version of Acrobat has never been tested on this version of Mac and is not supported.
I suggest that you can upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat and works perfectly. It has loads of new and improved features that Acrobat 8.

Background:
My use is to create PDF forms that some of the fields might be filled in by the user.
Questions
#1) what are the user documents would recommend (online, on paper)?
(#2) which is the basic life cycle to generate a PDF form?
That is to say. (A) begins with a word, B) import word doc in Acrobat doc, C) using forms tool in Acrobat to create check boxes,.
(D) using the Create New Forms Wizard tool in Acrobat to convert to PDF, E) using the lifecycle of the Adobe Designer doing Design of text field.
((F) Save PDF, G) open using saved Acrobat PDF, H) change user rights, I) save the PDF document
This is the basic lifecycle usually/standard/recommend?
(#3) si started from a word doc. How tell you Acrobat to introduce check boxes and others. Because if we introduce check boxes in Acrobat, we create a maintenance nightmare.

I'm sorry to inform you that you will not be able to use your Acrobat 9 on the other computer that you have already upgraded to Acrobat XI.
Because the upgrade requires 2 serial key in order to validate the product, the first is Acrobat XI himself & the other is the previous Acrobat (i.e. Acrobat 9) from which you upgraded. Like the previous series Acrobat 9 key is always used by Acrobat XI for activation it is not possible to use again.
However at any time if you want to disable Acrobat XI & install Acrobat 9, which will be possible.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro - work is not on the platform of El Capitan OSX...

I just bought a new mac running on OS X El Capitan and noticed that some of my Adobe products have problems or do not properly transfer to this operating system platform. I use "Adobe CS5 Premium" and "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro" and met the next 2 questions so far:
1 adobe Illustrator CS5 crashes whenever I use the eyedropper tool. Any suggestions on how to fix this? You do not yet know what other questions, I will meet you as I still test all the software included in the CS5 Premium package.
2. in addition, when I bought the ' Adobe CS5 Premium ' package for use with Web/Design, it included "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro", for which I also have the serial number of the product (shown as recorded in my account Adobe). I downloaded from the Adobe downloads at the following site: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html and it won't open at all (I realize this is an older version). Any suggestions on fixing this or provide me a link to a level which would work in tandem with the CS5 on El Capitan OS X platform?

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Mac OS El Capitan Adobe Acrobat required configuration.
Make sure that you use Acrobat in a compatible environment to make it functional.

Acrobat 9 Pro reinstall question (OSX 10.11.2)

A few years ago, I bought a Suite CS5 (Mac), which includes Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. It worked fine until I recently did a new install of OS X El Capitan. The problem looks exactly like this post: Acrobat Pro 9 reinstall question (OSX 10.10.3)
Unfortunately, Adobe has not given an answer on how to resolve this issue, that's why I'm reposting this again (as it is the only way to get in touch). I do not understand that the product is old enough, but in any case, I should be able to use it – I'm not updates, bugfixes etc. Other applications such as Photoshop CS5 work correctly. Why not Acrobat?

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Mac OS 10.5 above, please make sure that you use the application on a platform compatible Adobe Acrobat required configuration.
In an incompatible environment request may or may not work.

I think I found the answer to my question: "if I can install my copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on my Apple Mac Pro and my Apple MacBook Pro bought recently?" I think that my question has been answered by reading the text of the Convention for the use of this site in the following text:
"You can activate the software on up to 2 devices (or virtual machines) at the same time, if these activations are associated with the same Adobe ID for the same person, except to . http://www.Adobe.com/go/activation_fr . However, you cannot use the software on these devices simultaneously. »
If this is correct, you could confirm. I know what security conscious Adobe with their software.

Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro and Windows 7 (64-bit)
I got a new computer running Win7 64-bit. I have a copy of Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro, I am getting down to work on the new system. During the installation process, he raised an error by requesting the file adobepdf.dll of Windows Vista. Since I also have a computer running Vista, I was able to locate the necessary file to complete the installation. However, when I try to PDF a website for example, it displays an error to the Task Manager (clock lower). When I check the properties of the Adobe PDF printer, it shows the port as being "LPT1".
I contacted Adobe via online chat, but was directed to the website www.adobe.com/support. There, I could not find anything.
I guess the first question to ask is... Is Windows 7 64 bit & Adobe Pro 8 compatible? If so, what am I doing wrong? If this isn't the case, that answers the question here. When I asked the cat Adobe representative, all they said about the compatibility, is that it has not been tested on Win7, so they don't know.
I tried to make the facility a couple of times / ways. The first time I did the installation, I clicked on Cancel when she asked the file AdobePDF.dll Vista. I got the same results as I did when I found the file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The part I did was downloaded the 8.1 update, and it worked perfectly after that.

Because the printer is able to scan from HP and Microsoft paint software then the problem you are having is with the Adobe Acrobat 9 software. My first suggestion would be to uninstall the program and then reinstall it to see if the problem persists. If you still have the same problem, you need to contact Adobe technical support.

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extender. When I try to convert a Word file to PDF that says that it cannot find the drivers from the Adobe PDF printer and reinstall Adobe Acrobat 9.0. Acrobat 9 is quite old and not longer supported. The last Windows OS that could use Acrobat 9 has Windows 7 and Acrobat had to have all updates applied.
You need to upgrade to Acrobat DC.
