Adobe Acrobat DC update failed

Hello

I have a big problem with the update to Adobe Acrobat DC (8.1 of Windows, 64-bit); I'm trying to install it for three days now. During installation out of the CCInstaller, the following error message appears:

=================================================================

Exit code: 7

Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, the ERROR:

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

-0 fatal Error (s), 1 Error (s)

-Payload: Adobe, Adobe Acrobat DC 15.7.20033.0 Acrobat\Setup.exe_15.007.20033---

ERROR: installer of third Adobe Acrobat\Setup.exe payload failed with exit code: 1603

=================================================================

I've tried all of the recommended steps: error 1603: a fatal error occurred during installation, but it did not work. I also tried to install it via the direct DCInstaller, but it is always an error during installation. Sometimes this one:

(Failure of the installation of the Module license Acrobat. Possible solutions under http://...)

Sometimes this one:

It's really frustrating... An additional idea?

Thank you very much in advance,

Henrik

katjal92387258,

Here are some steps worth a look. Your installation of Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Run-time seems to be corrupt.

I found that the following steps work if you get the error:

"Error 1722.  There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package.  A program run as part of the Setup did not finish as expected.  Contact your provider to support personal or package.  Action InstallWebResources, location c:\program files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat\AcrpCEF\AcroServicesUpdater.exe"

Try the following steps and this should work:

(1) Goto Download Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 official Microsoft Download Center and click on download.

(2) select vcredist_x86.exe and download the package.

(3) If you are on a 64-bit computer, navigate to another "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\" go to "C:\Windows\System32" on a 32-bit machine. If the folder "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" exist, then you are on a 64-bit computer.

(4) look for msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll and rename the two files. Do not delete them while just in case where vcredist_x86.exe manages not to install you can rename them back.

(5) now, double-click vcredist_x86.exe and install it. Once the installation is finished check that msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll are now installed back. You can delete the files that you renamed in step above now. Do not delete msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll

(6) install Acrobat through r CC installedand it should install now without complaining.

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader update takes a long time

Lately, whenever I have trying to update Adobe Acrobat Reader on my MacBook Pro, it says "Installing Update" for a very long time (more than 30 min).  Why it takes so long?

The normal download for installation of Player isn't final setup, this is a download manager to download the actual installer. Especially on Mac OS X, which doesn't seem to work reliable in all cases. I uninstall Adobe Reader and then start with a new download of the full installer via this link: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

  • Acrobat Pro update fails on the Mont Lion?

I'm under Mount Lion (10.8.5) and I tried to update Acrobat Pro 10.1.13 to 11.0.11. During the update, I wonder of "choose which version of Acrobat Pro, you want to update ' but version 10.1.13 is grayed out so I can't select and update fails. Is it not possible to upgrade to 11.0.11 on Mt. Lion? Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks for the help!

    Hi Jennifer

Let me guide you in the right direction.

You can update Acrobat pro 10.1.13 10.1.14 to not 11.0.11 a version.

Acrobat 10 & Acrobat 11 are two different versions. Updates are less version & upgrade is from one version to the other you need to buy.

You can also install the updates manually, please refer to this KB doc. update, patch | Acrobat, Reader 10.x | Windows, Mac OS

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Kind regards

  • Adobe Acrobat 8 - updates of files do not install on Win 7 Professional

How to install after downloading updates from MSP to Adobe Acrobat files? I just installed Acrobat 8.0 from the original installation CD on a new PC running Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) and have downloaded the 8.1.0 update first, but clicking on get the error message "this patch could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package "." Update does not work. He says that he can not find updates. Even when I place the MSP file in the update folder to which it is supposed to download updates, it does not update. What's wrong? Why is this patch installs? Thank you! I really don't want to be stuck with 8.0.0 when I know that the years of updates through 8.3.1 are available, but for some reason some they will not install intuitively.

    Hello

Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Win 7. Please find the city ko: cts.html #main_System_requirements_for_Acrobat_8_Pro http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-acrobat-family-produ display system requirements for the installation of Acrobat 8. As Acrobat version 8 is very old product so I recommend you to buy the Acrobat11, which has grown more features.

  • Adobe Reader XI update failed.  How to fix?

When my 64-bit machine of windows 7 has been updated to adobe reader XI, the update function began to fail continuously.  I get the following message is displayed "Adobe Reader Updater":

"Update failed, an error has occurred.  Please check the updates later.  Error: 111500 "

Annoyingly, this message appears when adobe tries to automatically check for updates.  I also get this message every time I check the updates manually.  I tried to 'check for updates later' a million times without success.  I also uninstalled and reinstalled drive a million times.  I also uninstalled, used the removal tool from adobe reader for the removal of old versions and reinstalled a million times.  I also tried to reinstall the older versions.  However, if I use the XI version or an earlier version of the player, I always get the above message when I ask for an update.  Help, please!

Reader XI is not supported under Vista; the latest version of reader for Vista is 10.1.14.

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - failed to access Acrobat Capture Web installation. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input

At Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 and used Internet Explorer 10 Version 10.0.9200.17414. In the upper RIGHT of IE, I had Adobe (plug-ins?) option to:

    Convert Web Page to PDF...

Add Web Page in existing PDF...

    Print the Web Page...

    etc.

I used the Web Page Add to... the daily option. I then installed, to fix a different problem, Adobe Acrobat Reader Version DC 2015.008.20082 (later from this post). Now, when I choose to add a Web Page in existing PDF... option, I get the error popup:

Unable to access the installation of Acrobat Capture Web. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input.

I have searched the WWW of solutions but can't find one. Anyone has any potential ideas?

The free software Adobe Reader doesn't have these features. They are part of Acrobat (not free) - as far as I know; only with the Pro version.

There may be a PDF 'create' a web page associated with an Adobe online subscription services (perhaps PDF Pack).

    Be well...

  • The terminal server Adobe Acrobat issue update

At this moment we have a problem where everyone is custody get invited to update adobe. We have a lot of users on the server terminal server. When we turn this option off, it is on a per user basis not system-wide. So, I've been looking in the wizard of custimaztion and tested remove this feautre to redeploy the. Is it possible we can manually update adobe if we get out of the update feature? Or are there other options to make this large system users are not prompted or restart the server.

Yes. Update preferences only control what appears in the user interface and how many times an update check occurs. Directors of the company more to disable the update so they can control what version is installed within their organization.

You should get the Administrator's Guide and the AIM app so you can discover the range of configuration possibilities.

    Hi Obsever28,

The update is supposed to not uninstall the program, but updates the existing version. Not sure why she did in your case. We tested it at our end before releasing, and so far, it seems to be the only complaint reported so far.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 not more updates to date?

My company has approximately 50 licenses of Adobe Acrobat 9 (Update 9.5.5). For a while the updates were fast and furious. I checked their site today and saw that V 9.5.5 was "most recent and FINAL output. This hotfix solves security problems. "This means that there will be no more security fixes for this version? If this is the case then I see this as a vulnerability and will have to update to the latest version or move to another program. The way I read it it is all for this version. Thanks for any help.
