Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - failed to access Acrobat Capture Web installation. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input

At Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 and used Internet Explorer 10 Version 10.0.9200.17414. In the upper RIGHT of IE, I had Adobe (plug-ins?) option to:

Convert Web Page to PDF...

Add Web Page in existing PDF...

Print the Web Page...

etc.

I used the Web Page Add to... the daily option. I then installed, to fix a different problem, Adobe Acrobat Reader Version DC 2015.008.20082 (later from this post). Now, when I choose to add a Web Page in existing PDF... option, I get the error popup:

Unable to access the installation of Acrobat Capture Web. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input.

I have searched the WWW of solutions but can't find one. Anyone has any potential ideas?

The free software Adobe Reader doesn't have these features. They are part of Acrobat (not free) - as far as I know; only with the Pro version.

There may be a PDF 'create' a web page associated with an Adobe online subscription services (perhaps PDF Pack).

Be well...

    Hello

I get the following error message when you use the Page convert to PDF module in Internet Explorer: "not able to access installation of Acrobat Capture Web. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input. ».

I use Acrobat X (with latest updates) on Windows 8.1, 64-bit and IE 11 (both with all latest updates).

When I click on the button to convert the top of IE, I'm asked to select the file location and name.  When I click on save, I'm presented with this error.  The utility creates a file, but it is unreadable - opening it gives an error in Acrobat, saying that the file is not a supported file type and it was damaged.

I have seen this error in the forum and took the advice given to run the repair via Add/Remove programs.  I have run the repair and restarted twice, but to no avail.

I also uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled, but again, no luck.

Please let me know what to try next.

    Thank you

    Hi Jody,.

Please post on the Adobe forums.

Internet Explorer (and even other browsers) sometimes finiky when used with a program in administrator mode.

So, please right click on the Acrobat icon and choose ' properties > Compatibility tab "and uncheck the"Run this program as an administrator"option.

Let me know if this helps.

    Kind regards

  • DOI, I need to install Adobe Acrobat DC if I used it for 7 day trial

I signed up for a free 7 day trial of Adobe Acrobat DC. Then I bought a monthly subscription - before the trial expires. I followed a few links which told me to install the program. When I started the process, I got a message that a more functional program was already installed. Can I keep the program I have now? If so, should I do anything to keep him? If not, I sign upward for an inferior product I have now (seems to me that the message that I now have a 'more functional program' implies that)? Currently my main need is to be able to export PDFs to doc or docx microsoft word files. Thank you

Seems good. Now you have it installed?

  • Adobe flash player 11.0 blocks access to the Web site home pages

Why is Adobe flash player 11.0, allowed to block access to the Web site home pages, until their trash is installed?  They should be prosecuted for punishment of the loss of time by Internet users, who spend countless hours trying to fix their garbage, which takes control of the web and blocks PCs access to their program settings, unless it is done according to their specific updates. N ' ILS OWN INTERNET and everything on it, or what?

Are you sure he blocked it, or the web page requires Flash Player to see this?

Most web pages require an element of Adobe Flash Player.

First of all, try to enable Active Scripting in the areas of Sites Internet Options, security settings, trust.

You should also add a corrupted on.

    Click Start, type: Internet Options

    Press enter

    Select the "Advanced" tab

Under reset Internet Explorer settings, click "reset".

This should restore the Internet Explorer default settings.

  • Adobe Reader 'Adobe PDF Reader"Addon when not install using the MSI installer.

I'm trying to do a silent install Adobe Reader - and I noticed that when I use the installer EXE, with no manual configuration, I have the "Adobe PDF Reader" Addon in Internet Explorer (IE11).

When you install the MSI file - with or without transformation, I don't get the addon. I get a "PDF link Helper" but no PDF Reader addon. If anyone has experienced this?

    Hi geoffubazi,

The "Adobe PDF Reader" Addon should install even if you run the .msi file.

Check under the add on-"run without authorization" option, as shown in the screenshot below and it will list the "Adobe PDF Reader" Add on

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader DC stops the installation process on "Adobe Download Manager' - white screen

Windows Vista. Intel Core 2 duo. Chrome. Tried to go through the installation process:

Downloaded file > click Download > 'Do you want to run this file' window > Clicked 'Yes' > (same window come again) > Clicked 'Yes' > "a program needs your permission to continue" window > Clicked 'Continue' > 'Adobe Download Manager' window is displayed and is constantly empty. Here is a snipped of my screen picture:

I've done this process over and over again. Tried to look to the top of Adobe Reader specifically for Windows Vista, but it came to an Adobe website which looked like illegitimate. I don't know, it does not only look like the other Adobe Reader download page. When I go out the the empty "Adobe Download Manager" window, Internet Explorer (which I don't use) gets up and shows this:

    Thank you.

When I try to install Acrobat DC from this link: https://get.adobe.com/fi/reader/ I make it to the installer and it gets to about 50% and then he said: 'failed to install. Click Finish.

It does not work either from this link: http://get.adobe.com/reader/direct when I try to run the installation it says "another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this installation. If anyone can help?

I got it working by removal of any installation files, restart the computer and opt-out/re-registration of Windows installed according to this instruction https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-1704-or-1500-install-1.html (Solution 2).

But thanks anyway for the replies!

  • Adobe Acrobat plug of keeps showing that is out of date, even after the update or reinstall.

Other users have reported similar problems. My particular case: Running Firefox - date (42.0) - Windows 7 (as so far). Firefox has constantly watch the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in is not up-to-date. I tried to update and reinstalled Acrobat. I just had request Acrobat update which has been a success and also updated to Firefox. Firefox still has reports that Acrobat is obsolete. Firefox reports that the current add-on is 15.9.20069.28170, but clicking on update now button on the Add you check page contains links to a page of Adobe update with the version number 2015.009.20069. When I search (Google) for the latest version, I've reached a page that lists all versions, updates, etc.. The latest version is 2015.009.20069. According to the Panel, the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed on the computer is 15.009.20077!

As far as I can tell it's working properly, updated regularly. I don't know where the 28170 number comes from or why page Add on reports that Acrobat is out of date, unless the version update of the Acrobat Reader software is not actually update the Add On from Firefox portion.

    Any suggestion or comment?

My suggestion is to ignore the information from the website of checker plugin and use the built-in functionality of Adobe to check updates. In your DC of Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat DC:

Help menu > check for updates

While the site checker plugin uses data provided by Adobe, there seems to be some discrepancies between the program and the version number of plugin that have not yet been resolved.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI keeps asking for serial number

    Dell Inspiron 7348

    Windows 10

I bought less than a year and a month, I got a notice from Adobe that I need to reinstall my software Adobe Adobe Acrobat XI there.  I ignored for a while and finally with success removed (using the control panel configuration-programs and features) and the Adobe's Plans and products reinstalled my software.  My copy is saved in the Plans and products. I immediately got pop-ups periodically whenever I use the software to register my product.  I chose to ignore and do not show this message to dozens of times without relief.  I finally agreed to register (re-record) software and the pop - up then asked my serial number, I entered and was accepted.  That didn't satisfy the demons pop up as the same request for my serial number opens everytime I open and periodically when I'm in the middle of the use of the software. It is most annoying. As I do not pay enough to be granted a privilege phone or chat, I appeal to the forum to provide Adobe support should be provided to customers who pay for the right to use their software. Any help would be appreciated. !

Make sure you use the correct serial number.

  • How can I fix error 1935 when you try to download Adobe Acrobat?

I had Adobe Acrobat is installed on my computer for a long time and was getting periodic updates through version 9. ? as they became available.  When the new version 10. ?? (with an X in the name of the file) has been made available, it would not load into my computer.  Since then I tried to download Adobe and I get the error code 1935. I looked at possible ways to fix it, and the first is to go to the "command prompt" and type in a certain order.  When I tried to do that, it tells me that I need to be logged in as an administrator.  How can I connect as administrator (I am an administrator on this computer - this is my PC at home)?  If this does not resolve the problem, which should try after that?  Thank you very much for your help!

  • Adobe Acrobat 2.0 problem - help please!

I had Adobe Acrobat Standard 2.0 works well for years (and it is quite appropriate for what I need for) until about 2 weeks ago, when it stopped. My OS is Windows 7. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled several times without result. When you create a pdf from a Word (my usual task with Acrobat) document, it starts the process and then reached a point where it freezes, and eventually I have to close the program. The progress window "Adobe PDFMaker" reached a point where it says: "convert to Adobe PDF...". "and then freezes. All advice and help to solve very much appreciated! Thank you, John

If you have Windows 7 Pro or better you can try to use XP mode (assuming that you can always get it to Download Windows XP Mode from the official Microsoft Download Center ).
