  I think you're just double click on the deployer of Exception and not running the same command prompt. Below is the syntax that we use everything using the deployer of Exception on your machine (s).

  ExceptionDeployer    --workflow=install    --mode=pre|post    --INSTALLDIR=    --installLanguage=forAcrobat>    --abortOnFail    --help

  The same is mentioned in the link shared by Abhijit earlier.

  I started with Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard on my older XP machine, then to Windows 8 (8.1) on a new machine, (Adobe has helped me then) now update Windows 10 they gave me 5 days to 'pay' as they don't recognize me.  Can someone guide me in the right direction?

  We had the same error with CS6. He did turn out to be a permissions error, we have discovered by looking at the log of the installer in the Installer (while he was trying to install, and not that it spits out after you're done). Once we had done that, we have been able to use the sudo command ourselves, and the Adobe installation program took place without a hitch!

  What browser do you use? You can download the PDF on the local drive (right click on-> save as on the web page) and open the document with Adobe Reader.

  I managed to fix it.  I found the Mr. Fix It tool on the Microsoft Web site and who was running, and it worked.  He fixed the corrupted registry file and allowed me to install the player.  I had tried it once before, but it has not been successful.  This time, it worked.

  I tried several times to install the drive on this laptop Windows 7, without success. (edit: I finally got version 10 install correctly, but won't work or 11 or DC).

  I tried the things:

  UAC is disabled, the disabled, tried to run the installer as administrator (its an Admin still counts). Cleaning of all older versions, used uninstall reader I found, used CCleaner to check for errors, run SFC, etc.. No difficulty to install Flash, Air, or Shockwave all went well, fair reader with questions. This machine is Win 7 Home Premium, 64-bit

  I can see the process is running, but it's just sitting there with nothing happens after 1/2 hour.

  If I try to install the DC version, it opens the window "Adobe Download Manager", which is just a blank window, nothing happens.

  I tried to download it directly from the web page, the offline version (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC install for all versions ) of 11 and DC, and always the same problem - the installation IS running, but it does nothing.
