  You can go to start > run > type services.msc. Services window opens. Select the services of active monitor with version 9. Right click > stop and go in properties by right click. Select the type as disabled, as on the startup screen.

  I disabled a (Win XP), removed and reinstalled on a new PC (Win 7)

  CS4 kept crashing on Win 7.

  Maninly first and After Effects, hangs then crashes

  Slowly, I installed CS4 by the program and each time made a Windows System Image backup to another drive for backup

  So now far breaks down to CS4, but not activatate, gives me 30 days and say I have it on 3 PCs
