Hello

·        Do you remember the error message that was on the blue screen?

·        Who is the manufacturer of your computer, and what is the model of the monitor?

I suggest you to check with a different monitor if you are able to boot the system.

Apart from that, I suggest to disconnect all external devices and checks to see if you are able to boot the system.

Thanks and regards.

I guess you have a problem with

    Carol

Hey, Carol, welcome to the forum! :)

Don t misunderstand me, but may I ask why you n t post more information about your problem?
Important to know is that your laptop you have exactly and where to download the updated BIOS and for what model. This is important information.

By the way: have you ever tried to load the default settings in the BIOS after update?

  • Computer immediately freezes and blue screens. BIOS error could not be read.

Hi bought a computer from a friend worked perfectly for them now, I plugged my old PC cables and it worked fine for like a week, then when I turned it on it just completely frozen, he told me that the specifications of the processor then instantly frozen before even that came to the sign in screen, caps lock shift etc. on the pc do not work and then it worked fine for a week and then this morning I went and I registered and it blue planned to tell me something about bios couldent read it you stop fast and now I am to plant him as soon as I turn it on, the only new material I installed was a new adapter wireless a few days ago , but the problem started before that, any help you can give would be great, thanks.

When a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) the system failure occurs, for most users, there not enough time to fully record what he says. the exact text is important for anyone trying to diagnose what is wrong. You can save time when the error occurs then by following the procedure described below.

If you already did it disable the auto reboot system error. This should help by allowing the time to write the code to Stop error and related information correctly. Do right click on the icon my computer on the desktop and select Properties, advanced, startup and recovery, system failure and uncheck the box before automatically restarting. Re-do not enable automatic restart in the event of system failure after obtaining this information, this setting is the best left to not allow an automatic restart.

If the failure occurs during the initialization of the computer, you need to try a different approach. You can access the Advanced Options Menu of Windows on multiple computers by constantly pressing the F8 (key) key when starting and selecting the option - disable automatic restart in case of system error. This method is not always easy to use because it may be difficult to press the F8 key at the right time. Try again if it doesn't work the first time. On some computers, a different key must be used.

    Hello

You are able to access the BIOS?
Try to access the BIOS settings by pressing the F2 key.
Then try to put the BIOS back to the settings by default as I m not confused with the F9 key.
Press F10 will record you changes

Please try this and report the results

  • Two similar computers blue-screening for 3 months on a daily basis

    Hi all

I have two workstations Dell Inspiron (Windows 7) put in place for a small business to point of sale. In December the two computers began blue-screening and restart the mid-day up to 4 times. (We do well more than one). Because even if the computers are similar models, they were purchased a few months apart, for this reason I think that a hardware problem is very unlikely.

    What I did:

I looked in the newspapers, I discovered that, for each kernel power event, there was a bug control error.  There are two different values hexa% 0x000000d1 and 0x0000000a. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL respectively.

I used the BlueScreenView program to display data in the minidump files:

Here is an example of the result of BlueScreenView for 0x00000000d1

Here is an example of the result of BlueScreenView for 0x0000000a

Day before yesterday, I diagnosed as a driver Realtek LAN obsolete and updated the driver. Bug control did not happen again, but I'm not convinced he is gone for good again.

    Thanks for any help,

If this driver update does not resolve the problem, you will know soon enough. Best time to leave a few days and use of computers on a daily basis prove or disprove / convince that his party for good.

  • Satellite M100-150 gets 'blue screen' and resets the bios data

    This problem started months ago.
Laptop shows sometimes 'blue screen' for unknown reason and constantly does if there's some modern running game graphics.
After that I always see that the settings bios reset to default values

    What should I do?

Okay, it looks like some kind of a problem. Could be a hardware problem, but that's just a guess about your situation.

First, you must perform an update of the BIOS on your computer to make sure that the rom BIOS is OK.

Then, if the problem persists, I would contact an authorized service partner, since the problem seems more related material.

I just finished a new construction, including Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  Update all the drivers went through, and now I get BSOD.  Initially, I'd get them, after that the system wake up to 'sleep' mode, but this morning I received after you start the computer from the closure.  They are the mistakes STOP F4, and I'm sure that there is a way to fix them, I just need help on where to start.  After a few reboots to check the version of the BIOS and what not, the computer would no longer connect to the internet.
    Here is my configuration:
CPU: Intel Core i3-3225 3.3 GHz Dual - Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock H77M Micro ATX LGA1155 motherboard
    Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 memory

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)
Other: 2 x Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB 3.5 "7200 RPM hard drive internal

And here are two mistakes STOP I was able to capture up to now:
    STOP: 0X000000F4 (0XFFFFFA800B938B30, 0XFFFFFA800B938E10, 0 X 000000000000003, 0XFFFFF80002F80460)

This was my first computer build and I really enjoyed until the software part; simply too many current intangibles.  A lot to learn and I'm happy to do, but my wife would like a stable computer.

    Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit. (EDITED)

A user has a problem as his computer blue screens after he was awakened to "sleep" mode and the other thing is this problem is intermittent.

The error message I saw said that it was a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP error message is 0x0000007A and the second parameter was 0xC000009D.

According to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559211 (v = vs. 85) .aspx this type of error indicates - "0xC000009D or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, indicates defective wiring or in bulk, termination or that the controller does not see the hard drive."

Hard disk, I ran the tests integrated in the BIOS, online tool check the system of HP for laptop PC (http://h20239.www2.hp.com/techcenter/HP_SystemCheck/hp_syscheck.htm) and same Seagates own Seatool because there is a Seagate drive in the machine. All these tests said nothing about a problem with the hard drive.

The online tool, said there is no update available on the BIOS drivers.

I even had the user to remove the hard drive and put it back to make sure he wasn't a wire loose, bad connection or something like that.

I phoned helpdesk of HP where I live and I told him this and he said that it is most likely a software problem.

So so I need help to find out what software might be behind this error.

I can't provide shocks either, given the error and blue screen also says "dump of physical memory failed with status 0xC0000010.".

So is it a known software that could be the cause of these problems?

EDIT: As pointed out by erico, I forgot the information about this operating system. That's why I added this information at the top of my first post.

Sorry I have not responded earlier.

It seems that the problem is solved since the user had no blue screens for over a week now.

The solution was quite simple: reinstall on a new hard drive, even if each test drive, I ran on the subject, said the old drive was ok. This includes BIOS integrated HP and test online, chkdsk in Windows 7 and Seagate tool own Seatool.

    Best regards

    Ljungan.
